Best restaurant in Montréal! Tes food is amazing and they change the menu often so it's always fun to go and find out what is there new menu. I think they have the best wine menu of the Island...wines you'll never taste anywhere else. If ou haven't tried Ile Flottante yet, your missing out!

Je suis déjà allée dans ce restaurant plusieurs fois. La cuisine est excellente et d'une ingéniosité remarquable. J'apprécie particulièrement qu'ils changent le menu souvent. Ils sont aussi très accommodants pour les personnes sujettes aux allergies.

La seule raison pour laquelle je n'ai pas donné 5 étoiles est à cause de la carte des vins. Le restaurant propose une formule accord mets et vins, qui est très intéressante. Par contre, certains vins étaient un peu trop jeunes à mon goût. Cela vient aussi sans doute du choix de proposer des vins biologiques.

Je recommande néanmoins ce restaurant sans équivoque. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Le chef est un artiste les plats sont magnifiques originaux et surtout très bons.
Le mariage avec des vins surprenants à découvrir.
Je recommande pour les épicuriens et les gastromes.
Une belle découverte, j'y retourne en janvier déjà réservé

When you receive a menu that just says you have a choice of 3,5, or 7 courses you may be a little apprehensive about the food you will be eating. Every course was a delightful surprise. From the opening trout course with dried nori and 2 side sauces to dessert with vanilla mushroom ice cream! My favorite course was a beet salad with home made ricotta and macerated prunes. This restaurant is not for a picky eater (considering there are no choices as far as food is concerned) I recommend this restaurant highly for those people who love an interesting and delicious meal.

Hands down this was the best meal I have ever had at a restaurant. Just go there. Get at least the 5 course tasting menu, and get the wine pairing it is fantastic.

The presentation of each menu item was simply stunning. We had the 3-course menu and each had a crafted cocktail. Outstanding! My only negative comment is our entrée was a duck breast that was tricky to cut with a steak knife. Neither of us is a fan of duck to begin with which was a little disappointing. That said, it tasted more like beef and was delicious.

An absolutely mind blowing experience! The set menu of 3, 5, or seven courses allows the kitchen to focus on artistic presentation as well as mouth-watering plates. The focus is vegetarian, but one of our three courses was a beautiful portion of duck breast. We were also able to substitute our last course, which would have been a dessert, for another vegetable plate, and add the Ile Flotantte dessert as an add-on. The staff was incredibly attentive, but in no way overbearing. Everything arrived in a well paced sequence. Our only other observation was that the music was loud, and prevented us from having a conversation. To their credit, they did turn it down when we asked, but with the acoustics in the dining space, music doesn’t add anything to the ambience. But otherwise, this evening will be a memory that will last for a very long time! Can’t wait to come back!

Very enjoyable unique evening almost like a show with each course and wine introduced by host or server.
Expensive and really a vegetarian restaurant but the food beautifully presented and delicious. So you leave feeling you had a one of a kind experience that you really probably can only afford once a year! Was $300 plus tip for two with the 5 course meal only - there is a 3 course slightly less expensive and a 7 course, even more expensive.
So go if you can afford it - you are treating yourself!

Original mouth watering food. Who would have think of using mushroom as an ingredient for ice cream but it works. Or pairing trout tartar with pumpkin seeds. Or picking beets with beet and sumac vinegars and then pairing the beets with ricotta and nectarine. Add in an affordable wine list filled with private imports and you have a great restaurant that won’t break the budget
