Ile Flottante (former Les Deux Singes)
3,5 or 7 course menus for $45, $65 or $85 per person (excludes taxes and service)
Amazing food, amazing wine, service is wonderful. A must try and try and try again!!
delightful ambience, surprising food - we had the 3 & 5 course tasting menus, so fresh and tasteful. We took the wine pairing too - 5 'half' glasses. Very attentive servers under watchful eyes kindly and unassumingly served us an 'extra course' - or was that a muse? - however it did throw our wine paring off so that at the final savory /fish course I was staring at a half glass of dessert wine :( - yes I could have ordered a more appropriate additional wine. I would have preferred to be served a course and THEN the wine - with some idea why that wine with this food. Looking forward to revisiting when next in Montreal! The view into the kitchen and watching the chefs and staff at work was wonderful - no rush and a lot of concentration! Looking forward to revisiting when next in Montreal!
Awesome. Great cocktails. Definitely recommend.
The food is as delicious as it is beautiful to look at. A work of art for the eyes and the palate. I had the 5 course meal with the wine pairing. Every single bite was wonderful. Each wine perfectly selected. The service throughout the evening was impeccable.
We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. Food, staff and setting were all excellent.
Very accommodating, accidentally made our reservation for the following week but they had no problem taking us at 10pm. Very descriptive and innovative menu, the eggplant either cheese sauce and Christmas tree dessert were to die for.
This is an exceptional culinary experience. Everything was beautifully presented, unusual and delicious. The staff were all gracious, charming and knowledgeable. Truly a can’t miss Montréal experience.
Great experience - amazing service and very creative food! We had a great time but would ensure that people going realize that the food is going to be mainly plant based - definitely a great healthy vegetarian option for foodies!
Bravo! xx
Wonderful restaurant that does everything (wine, cocktails, service, food) exceptionally. They have it down and is well worth going to.
Honestly one of the best meals of my life
Excellent, very special meal.
Amazing. One of the best meals ever.
Great experience. Had the 7 course menu and was extremely happy to have done so, the taste of some of the plates were spectacular. A real treat and a great experience. Staff was very friendly and the timing of the courses were great, my gf and I eat relatively quicker than the average person and they kept up with us. Wine recommendations were stellar.
Value is what you would expect, nothing crazy but also not something to sell the restaurant on. You're paying for the culinary experience and 7 courses of delicious, fresh plates.
My only complaint was the first dessert, which didn't live up to the rest of the meal but was still great!
The food was inventive, delicious, and crafted with the utmost attention and care. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and all the staff friendly while perfectly professional. A destination restaurant for sure. Don't skip the wine pairings!
Great food. Reasonable prices. Great service. Montreal's best restaurant.
At first I was disappointed by the noise, and the waitresses who mixed a lot what was in the menu... The food is correct but not up to the price and in very small proportion. My husband was still hungry after the 5 services.
In a nutshell not so bad but really too expensive for what it is I have done so much better for the same price or less. Will not come back
Fantastic overall experience. Grateful to have such an outstanding restaurant in my neighbourhood.
Enjoyed every single factor in our experience, from the food, to the drinks, the ambiance and the sevice.
Superbe menu! Ambiance décontractée et excellent service!
One of the best meals we have had in the world. The food and portions were outstanding.
Amazing experience, pop of flavours in your mouth, every dish was superb and service was excellent!
Outstanding experience. The staff is extremely attentive to every detail and the plates were all exceptional. Every time I come to this restaurant I am blown away at consistency in execution and how every service is delicious.
Une expérience à essayer. Vraiment bon et agréable !
One of the best meals ever. Three courses plus the amuse bouche with the wine pairing was brilliant.
Beautiful plates and delicious food! Great service 😊 will definitely return for another special occasion.
Great food and service . Very talented chef . Highly recommended.
On a passé un tres bon moment : service parfait, cuisine originale et tres bonne!
It was a bit difficult to understand the plate explanations ; either the ingredients are too uncommon or I'm too ignorant...but the flavors were all very good if I wasn't always aware of what I was eating..
Great and innovative presentation 😉
Charming restaurant with excellent staff and the set menu is amazing!
This is a special-occasions restaurant for me - and what a treat it was!
The ambience is warm, relaxed, and inviting. We were welcomed and seated. My friend chose an interesting cocktail from among the large selection. Because we wanted to sample as much variety as we could, we selected the five-course meal. I was delighted that each of us had options: to select different course sizes, vegetarian or non-vegetarian. or to share portions. The three different servers were very pleasant, attentive, and gave explanations of each of the courses. Starting with the very fresh amuse-bouche - so light and delicious, we then opened the soup bowl lid which revealed a small portion of very bright green soup, with a perfect-sized oval of sorbet. The cool subtle sweet taste added such a gorgeous flavour to the soup. Each course offered refined distinct flavours and textures. I actually took pictures of most of the courses, something I have never done before, but how else to describe the beauty and delicacy of each portion. Eggplant parmigiana - unrecognizable from any I have ever seen or tasted, with crispy basil on top - heavenly; another course with a perfect bright egg yolk atop its scalloped egg white, atop eggplant, etc. - divine. By the time the fish arrived, we were too full, and so enjoyed it at home the following day. The dessert, a course I rarely eat - was worth every bite! It was in homage to the sugaring-off season that we are presently enjoying: finely cubed pieces of pear, maple syrup, other ingredients, topped by a slender meringue maple leaf, two very thin maple leaf cookies (homemade), and, by my friend's surprised and delighted expression waiting for me to take a bite - snow covered! Yes, it was that snowy Tuesday evening - but snow! Perfection - just sweet enough! I cannot wait to have another occasion to return to this gem of a restaurant. Best meal ever! Somewhat reminiscent of Les Chevres. I have shared my enthusiasm with all my friends.
Mon mari l’a promis.
