Yoann est un jeune chef plein de promesses, sa cuisine est fine et savoureuse. Nous avons testé son menu dégustation et furent enchantés de la recherche qu’il applique à chaque assiette. Les couverts en argent sont une nouveauté très agréable, et le décor aussi a évolué avec une magnifique banquette. Si j’étais inspecteur du guide rouge il aurait déjà son premier macaron !

Excellent accueil, service et courtoisie. Les repas sont raffinés, remplie de saveur avec produit de la saison. Le poisson délicieux, les calmars dans une sauce - quelle belle découverte! Rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel compte tenu de la démarche culinaire qui se joue en arrière et toute la finesse qui se retrouve dans nos assiettes. Nous recommandons vivement et nous y retournerons assurément! Merci au chef propriétaire qui est venue à notre rencontre et d’une grande écoute! WOW !

Great Food, ate at the kitchen counter and the chef shared some great food with us not on the regular menu. Price reasonable and Bring Your Own Wine. Will be going again soon.

The best dining experience I’ve had yet! We had the tasting menu and from start to finish the experience, food, flavours and textures were incredible. The unpretentious atmosphere of the restaurant was an added plus. I will definitely be back and recommend to friends!

Wonderful meal — but remember to BYO! We had just traveled in from Boston and were caught empty-handed by surprise (our error as the website does make it clear). Also don’t be misled by the simplicity of the menu presentation, as it doesn’t capture the delightful complexity of the dishes. Very relaxed dinner experience with comfortable and friendly service.

We tried 2 appetizers (arancini and arctic char), they were both very tasty. We had the gnocchi and the halibut, both were delicious as well. The only thing that left a bad taste was the price of the non-alcoholic can of soda that was 7.50, way too expensive for what it was. The waitress proposed it so I went with it, but had I known the price, I wouldn't have. We would definitely go back to try the menu when it changes again. Awesome music and ambiance.

The food was wonderful, particularly the veal/tuna, char, arancini and the duck! The signature gnocchi was disappointing, it was gummy and slightly burnt. Cheese plate could be finessed with better accoutrements & too many walnuts which were also rancid. The server seemed a bit inexperienced & could be warmer & welcoming. Overall, we would return because of the food!

Delicious and creative. The atmosphere is more casual and comfortable than many other fine dining we have done in Montreal. The food is very, very good and conceived in an interesting and unique manner. Out server was lovely and actually remembered my partner from a visit several months ago. A very enjoyable meal - we will be back for sure

Excellent food on the tasting menu. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It’s bring your own wine (there’s an SAQ within 200 m). If you’re 2 people opt for the counter seats.

Toujours aussi délicieux. Les propriétaires, Yoann et Marie sont extrêmement sympathiques et toute leur équipe aussi. Yoann, le chef-propriétaire maîtrise parfaitement l’art de créer des plats dont les saveurs se marient incroyablement. Le menu change régulièrement. Nous y sommes allés à plusieurs reprises et nous n’avons jamais été déçus. De plus, nous apprécions beaucoup le fait que ce soit un restaurant où nous apportons notre vin. Longue vie au restaurant Les Mômes !

Yoann Van den Berg already established himself as the top chef of their now closed restaurant, Pastel, in Old Montreal. His new BYOB restaurant, while less formal, is in the Jarry neighborhood of the Plateau Montreal. This was an outstanding experience: creative food, very good service, comfortable "neighborhood restaurant" ambiance, and reasonable value. This is already one of the best restaurants in Montreal, and at this point still somewhat of a hidden gem.

Merci pour les petits plats pour emporter: mon mari (à Val-des-Monts) a bien apprécié la trempette ranch maison: je l'ai servie avec des triangles de Mssamen fait maison de la boucherie Al Khair (près du marché Jean-Talon). Et l'on vient de terminer les gnocchis à l'effiloché d'agneau, réchauffés et couronnés de coriandre fraîche. Un régal! ...et j'avais bien apprécié la burrata avec pesto de pistache sur roquette! Je reviendrai sûrement...avec mon mari!!

Nous n’avons pas assez profiter de notre repas car nous avions seulement 1h45 pour manger. Impossible de prendre un dessert et café, pas assez de temps… donc service rushué et expeditif
