Let's Grill Sushi & Izakaya
Menu: Sushi, Japanese style grill, Ramen, and drinks.
We had great service and the food was amazing. It was quiet and we enjoyed our selfs. We go back again for sure.
Food portions were small. Sashimi selection was limited and mediocre quality.
Great food, great experience over all
One of the better Japanese Restaurants in Edmonton, and a great location for a lunch downtown.
Food and service were very good . The food presentation was amazing we will be back
Very nice outing. Great for small groups as space is limited (book on open table for 10 ppl) quiet on a Monday night.
Food was presented with a artistic touch and the quality of the sushi was spot on! I also tried all of the deserts and those are great aswell ! The reviews on open table Really helped so read up. Menu has a lot of food on it so allow time to review the menu! This place is not just sushi they offer other alternative options. I’ll be back ! To try different foods!
Good food but on the expensive side given average ambiance.
Everything was outstanding right from the moment we were greeted. Food was great and surprising fast. I’m definitely going back for the hot stone duck and beef tataki!
Great food made with superb ingredients. Great service and vibe, too!
Great service and nice atmosphere. Heavy handed with the shaved nori on many dishes, as well as the katsuobushi on the okonomiyaki. Ask for less, if they are not your thing. 👍🏽
Lack of Sushi making skill, sushi fell apart. Food portion is much too small, rabbit portions, pathetic. Spent $200 for 4, and have to go to different restaurant after, because no one got full.
The service was awesome! Great food and ambience.
Food was very good but was in fortunately very hot inside and could not be cooled down. I will go again when in Edmonton next
Reservations were easy to book and easy to modify the time change. Friendly staff, very attentive and helpful. Menu has many great selections and pricing was average for the type of food. When we received our meals, we were all pleasantly surprised with the beautiful presentation. The food was all very delicious and good quality.
Excellent menu. Staff struggles a little to keep up, however the food makes it worth while! The chef hand carved a dragon out of a carrot as garnish on our plate and it was an amazing touch.
Another great lunch at this place. So far, whatever we tried (ramen, platters, sushi...) all was great! Excellent service with a smile and lots of positivity.
Excellent food. The miso soup is a must try dish.! Very friendly staff and great selection of Japanese dishes.
The food is delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. Just expect to wait a while as the servers are quite slow.
Also, why so many TVs? I want to eat sushi and ramen with my friends, not be distracted by giant sports.
Seating is a mix of high and regular height.
Great little place. We wanted something light before going to a show and my friend does not like raw sushi. The combination of Sushi and Izakaya gave us lots of options. Everything we had was beautifully presented and delicious! Would definitely go back. Decor was not fancy, but clean and serviceable. Would like some lower tables up near the front - we felt a little stuck in the back because we needed a lower table for my elderly companion.
My new favourite Japanese restaurant in Edmonton. Service is excellent and food is fresh. It is close by to the LRT station so commute won't be an issue. I came here on a Tuesday night for their $1 salmon sashimi. I like their skewers as well! We'll be back to try more.
Excellent food, fast and attentive service. Chef's platter is highly recommended!
Food and staff are excellent!!! One of the few places in Edmonton with genuine and amazing servers! keep it up!
The place was nice and warm. A good thing in -20c weather.
Food is a bit of Japanese fusion. We tried the chefs special for two, rolls, stir fry udon, eel donburi, sukiyaki etc.
Some of us were still hungry after having spent almost $40 pp without drinks.
If you like to try something new, have a small appetite and $40 pp, this would be the place for you.
Great downtown sushi location, one of my favorite for lunches.
Excellent food and very nice atmosphere. I am recommending the chef's platter!
Excellent food. Good value. Had chef’s special, sushi and udon noodles. A bit difficult getting attention of server because it was so busy. Premises are very new and clean with street view tables to Jasper Ave. Would most definitely recommend!
Service was relatively quick. Promptly greeted at the door. Food arrived quickly. And the food was amazing. I had the Chef's lunch platter and everything on it was super tasty. Would definitely order again.
if they had a charcoal grill for there waguy it would be a lot better then the hot stone
Had the happy hour special. Great value for food and drinks. $20 for beer and 2 dishes.
Delicious ramen for lunch and yummy sushi for dinner with great service every visit.
Had a birthday dinner over the weekend. Service was slow. Other tables were served food before our table, even though our orders were put in first after waiting over 1 hour. Asked server about 2 of our party orders, server stated it was coming, after waiting 2 hours, we decided to cancel our 2 orders; only to find out the server said she forgot to enter the order. In the end, 2 of our guest didn't get their food, and no compensation or apology from the restaurant. Food was alright but would not come back due to poor service.
The place is nice and bright, and fairly quiet but busy during lunch. We had the Ramen, Salmon Maki and Guy Don and it was all fantastic. Fresh and well prepared. Well done.
Great place for Japanese food downtown. Maybe a bit more expensive than some other Japanese Restaurants, but worth the price. Food tastes great, with extra attention paid to presentation.
Great meal! Awesome server
Fantastic food with really really awesome servers. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Good food and service, very reasonable prices, menu a bit skimpy, but creative. No wine list, only a house red and white. Lots of Sake choices, though . Service was paced perfectly, knowledgable server
The sashimi, skewers and apps we shared were all amazing. The mochi dessert was very authentic and delicious. The tacoyaki is definitely as good as Izakaya Tomo's.
