I love the attention to detail, we have allergies and the staff are very helpful with suggesting what we can have. The staff actually know what ingredients are in the food and that is refreshing. There is an overall good vibe. Nice Happy Hour Menu. The wait staff is super attentive as in there was a table next to us where the folks were from out of town and each time the waiter came by they had a new round of questions for him. He was patient, kind and informative. Excellent food and creative drinks highly reconmend. In short I would say the entire staff are tuned in and honestly care from beginning to end.

Not one bad thing to say. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. We had the Brussels sprouts as an app, Fork and knife chicken and a bbq platter (shrimps and brisket) Of course there was way too much food for two! But that’s not a bad thing - I had the Mac and cheese today for lunch (took it as a side) and it was excellent.

Our server was not polite at all. Not sure if he was just having a bad day but he was rude throughout his interaction with us and seemed like he just didn’t want to be there. When my friend asked if there was any drinks he could suggest, he rudely said that he didn’t know him and therefore couldn’t recommend any drinks even though my friend was asking for any beverage that had lime/lemon in it. We ended up asking the other server as he was a lot more friendly and he offered a suggestion. The food itself was good, the wait times were a little long but overall okay. It was the service that definitely could have been A LOT better. Luckily the other server was friendly so that did help. We were there to celebrate my friend’s birthday (the one that asked for the drink suggestion) so we definitely expected much better service…

We had brunch at Lexington and it was amazing, service was on point. The food was INCREDIBLE, 10/10 would recommend. The restaurant was empty at 1PM on a Saturday, and I could not understand why.

Enjoy going to this restaurant and will go back, but they ran out of brisket at 5:45 and our food took an hour and 20 minutes to get to us and length of wait never acknowledged by staff.

We loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We ordered the fried brie which was delicious, and for our mains, the Lex burger and Pulled Pork sandwich. Both were great!

Lexington is a true gem in Ottawa. Local craft beers, amazing, inspired cocktails and an incredible wine list. The food is fresh, creative and in generous portions. If you're looking for a date night, evening with friends or weekend brunch, Lex is the place!

The three of us split a combo platter, stuffed jalapenos & the messy fries. They were all delicious. I was shocked at how few people were there with the food being so yummy. Sides are large on the platter, also served with cornbread & cinnamon butter, roasted hot peppers and pickles and two sauces. Jalapenos come with 4 and are bacon wrapped. Appetizer fries are sauced up, a little, are were tasty. The potato salad was delicious. Son enjoyed the mac and cheese.

Went out to celebrate downtown last weekend, we had a list of restaurants we wanted to try, and narrowed it down, and chose Lexington Smokehouse, and we are so glad we did! The service was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the food was incredible, We both got the BBQ Platters, and it was very tasty and very filling. Will definitely return here for future events!
