   Nothing to write home about. This is the second time I've been to this restaurant, the same location and the food has just been meh at best. The wings are overdone and not as gourmand as promised. The fork fried chicken is plentiful but not seasoned well. Cornbread is dry. The pulled pork is not as flavorful as it could be.

   I love this place and would come again, my only feedback is the food a little inconsistent. Came back a week later and ordered the same thing and it wasn’t as good the second time. We shared this and they brought a second order of the dish and it was a little better. They didn’t charge for both so that was appreciated. Otherwise would highly recommend.

   The platters were delicious, especially the side of Brussels sprouts. Fried Brie as an app was to die for. The only very minor disappointment was the ribs were nothing special. Otherwise the brisket, fried chicken and smoked halloumi were all wonderful. Would definitely go back.

    Sat in our seats for 15 minutes without so much as getting a glass of water, while watching the hostess stand around doing nothing. Servers were unfriendly and very unprofessionally dressed to boot. Don't waste your time here, there are many other better options within walking distance of this establishment.

    We went as a family of three and had an incredible meal. My son and I shared a BBQ platter that was huge, and came with a ton of great options. Recommend the chicken all the way! Service was above and beyond.

    It took over 40 minutes to get our food with no explanation until about 40 mins in. The server was extremely kind, she seemed really busy. My daughter ordered her egg not runny but they must have forgotten so she didn't really eat her meal (the tater tots breakfast). The Avocado toast was good and my sandwich was good too.

    This is one of Ottawas best restaurants! Great food, good spirits and fantastic staff. The service is amazing! I was there with my wife on a Friday evening and we had a beautiful supper . We had the cauliflower appetizer and then Pulled Pork and Knife and Fork Chicken as well. The Brussels Sprouts side is superb and so is the Potato Salad. After supper we were able to enjoy time together with no pressure to leave like you get at some restaurants. Thank you for a great evening!

    Our experience is usually the same "very good". Fork and Knife chicken is a classic there. The sides are excellent, especially the brussel sprouts who would have guessed that? The only disappointment was realizing after the meal that they had not offered us the several dipping sauces usually on hand?

    Service was AMAZING! Mac and cheese was good. The potato salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. Brisket 8/10 pulled pork 7.8/10 potato salad 10/10 charred Brussel sprouts 9.8/10 food presentation was great and the cornbread was good even thought I don’t like corn bread. Perfect balance of crisp edges and soft pillowy inside Overall the service is the real reason to come here and the meal from beginning to end was enjoyable. It’s a bit of a darker ambiance and feels intimate after sun down. Must get the ceaser with the fried chicken. This drink was amazing and worth the 19.00. Other drinks are very small and I would say maybe stick to your regular cocktails Price was about 280 for 3 people including a 60$ tip which is a great deal and you got a full meal.     Lovely to return to a bustling place with good food. One of our guests had difficulty hearing our conversation, but that was not a show-stopper for me. Generous portions - I had enough shrimp, grits and sides left over for a complete second meal. The tastiest old fashioned I have had in a long time!

    I kind of had "un coup de coeur" for the Lexington restaurant on Richmond. Not only is the staff kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, the food is amazing. The cheesecake is the best I have tasted yet. Just go see for yourself.

    Our reservation was early as we had to head out of town afterwards, and the service was excellent, the food was tasty, though the noise level did increase as the evening went on, which is normal. We enjoyed every single part of the meal and would definitely go back.

    Food: hubby n I had fork n knife chicken. Fried chicken was tender, served hot. We sat by the large garage door window, nice spot, however due to time of year is was cold. Lighting, a bit to dark, and we noticed a couple other tables using their phone flash light. Nice atmosphere, a bit loud, but this is typical for many smokehouse/ pub style places. It seems everyone wants you to yell to have a visit with friends. Server was very good, friendly, prompt. White wine menu was ok, so I chose beer instead. Parking: on street or use back alley parking. That’s the only drawback but we managed. Overall very good, we will return.
