Hubby and I go to Lias all the time. I love the service, everyone is usually very accommodating. We still do not dine indoors but their heaters are plenty and strong and they do not bulk at moving them close to you. Patio is nice and they created a good ambiance. They accommodate requests with changes to menu items. I just wish they had healthier appetizers and non meat or cream pastas, but the menu will likely change with the warmer weather. I would not mind if they brought the pre pandemic bread basket, but many restaurants have cut down on these small freebies. I recommend it.

Lia's has maintained its very good food and service level for years, it does not disappoint! The food and service are always good and the atmosphere is pleasant, a wonderful neighborhood asset. A big plus, in warmer weather, is the extensive outdoor seating space.

Everything was good until the end of the meal. Our waitress started acting strange as if she thought our tip wasn’t enough. She came over and asked “was everything ok” and when we said yes she responded “very interesting”. She proceeded to wait near the door and upon our exit made sure to continue harassing us. She said “thank you” and we responded thank you as well, she then louder and repeatedly yelled “no, thank you so so much” down the street as we were leaving. We left a normal tip so I’m not sure what her issue was, regardless it was in appropriate.

As always, Lia’s remains a favorite restaurant of mine. There are some long overdue catch ups, and being in the neighborhood makes doing all of that so easy. I would offer that our server that day, as I did, reflect to the host when we were leaving extraordinary. There was a table a bit further down in the banquette where an elderly gentleman was there, we believe with his daughter, and the daughter was so loud and frankly embarrassing that I felt for her and as she managed everything with a smile.

I loved it! The menu has a wide enough variety to appease every member of my family. Food was delicious. Our waiter was so helpful in food choice selections - he was personable and told us about upcoming specials. We noticed they have a private dining room which might work well for our daughters sweet 16 dinner.

We had a fabulous woman server—Victoria. She was engaged, went the extra mile, and was courteous and kind.y salmon was outstanding. My husband’s veal marsala was excellent. They allowed me to change tables when it was too noisy. Great menu.

Great ambiance, great food - the perfect place to spend Valentines Day. Lots of vegetarian options, which is sometimes rare for Italian restaurants. We had the cauliflower soup, risotto balls (HEAVEN), and the burrata, along with the cacio e pepe ravioli and Mediterranean salad. Super fresh and delicious! Would definitely go back.

A friend and I attended dinner on Super Bowl Sunday. There was a limited menu because of the big game. But our service was very good and the food was very tasty, and moderately priced. I would return to this restaurant again.

My party was seated promptly as expected since it was a rainy Tuesday night. Our server, I believe his name was Jamar, was very attentive and took our drink & appetizer orders. These were served right away and were tasty. The low rating for food was due to my steak and one of burgers arriving well done instead of medium rare as requested. My steak was sent back and another returned medium rare as requested. Since I’m a steak & frites guy I was obviously disappointed. Just thought I should let you know.

I had a mixed salad with salmon, which was cooked to my exact specifications and the salad also exactly how I had ordered it. The waiter was attentive but not overly so (which can be annoying) and all the staff was friendly. This was our 2nd visit and we will come back!

A frequent visitor to the restaurant, I am forever, impressed by the service, the food and the warm welcome. I have visited the restaurant for years and most recently at a time when I am recovering from shoulder surgery. A dear friend came to see me last night, and that was the only place that I knew we should go. Our waiter was simply incredible, and one of the very very most cheerful people on staff is the gentleman that always serves water or ask what you might need. It is like we are old friends.

We dined on the last day of Restaurant week. The offerings were the usual fare and the pricing made it a special bargain. We enjoyed all of our selections and will be mindful of the large sized starters the next time so that we have more room for dessert.

Appetizers were very good, but the main course - shrimp scampi and burgers were okay. Shrimp scampi was very heavy on butter and not so much on white wine. Pasta was interesting- tasted like hand made but quite thick and I am sure it goes quite well with shrimps. The waitress was very courteous, checking on us often; however, we ordered sweet potato fries but got French fries instead although the manager came and corrected the mistake. It took us a long time to get dessert as the order fell through the cracks first (not sure why). Overall, it was a good experience but there is definitely room for improvement; hence 4 stars.
