A spirited collaboration between Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants and Big Rock Brewery, Liberty Commons is a modern day brewpub celebrating the union of quality food and craft beer.
The Liberty Commons menu is largely inspired by quirky and imaginative twists on fine comfort food, with many dishes creatively integrating Big Rock Brewery’s quality craft beers, brewed on site.

Cool place. Good beer. Food was very salty.
It was really great food and good service
Great spot, great ambiance and food. Just a little loud...
Good food, cold beer, fast service. Went for dinner before a concert at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
Food was delicious, fresh, hot, flavourful and the presentation was inviting.
They dont state it on the menu, but, they have a wheat free bread / bun alternative, batter and deep fryer!
Great food and special items on the weekend.
We had the British-style Roast Dinner. Food and service were excellent. The best roast dinner I have had outside of the UK. My wife and friends, also Brits, agree.
Warmly welcomed, service attentive but not intrusive. Good quality Pub food and great beer!
The food and service are both outstanding. Eating here is not just a meal, but an experience, especially with all the subtleties. The brisket is fantastic!
Prime Rib was very lean, Wife’s Steak was a bit over cooked. Server seemed disinterested/ distracted all night.
Great food , great vibes in liberty village. Will be visiting once again!
Met a friend for dinner for dinner. Excellent service. and delicious food. Noise level allowed for conversation.
Delicious and unique menu. Very comfortably casual. Alexander may be the best server we've ever had. Definitely will return.
We had the Winterlicious dinner menu, and it was very good! The smoked meat jelly appetizer was to die for! The rosted cod main was somewhat overdone, the deserts were very good.
The wine by the glass is horribly expensive and there housewine is undrinkable, so there is a huge room for improvement in this area.
We came for Winterlicious lunch . Waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the food was very good .
We did winterlious the menu was amazing and the food tasted fantastic. The service was impeccable I will be back.
Winterlicious lunch date, amazing,
My go to spot in liberty village. Everything from service to the food was splendid. Special shoutout to the jerk chicken which was the highlight of our meal.
3 of us enjoyed it for a leisurely catch up. Very interesting and delicious dishes, beautifully presented at a reasonable Winterlicious price. Thoughtful and responsive service. I look forward to going again.
Great menu, good beer, and it wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday night which was perfect for me and my friends.
Great service, awesome place to watch spotts
This was our first visit to Liberty Commons (We visited during Winterlicious) and we absolutely loved! The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is to cozy, comfortable, and fun without being loud. The food was fantastic! From appetizer to dessert, we enjoyed every single bite! The staff was phenomenal! During our meal, our first waitress was set to go on break/leave so they came to our table and let us know who would be taking care of us from then on - but it wasn't just a "hi-bye" moment they took the time to make sure we were still alright and understood the change in staff. They checked in multiple times during our visit and were super friendly and knowledgeable about their drink and food suggestions. Such a great experience! We will DEFINITELY be going back!
Really great staff that accommodated our large fluctuating in size group. Apologies that I underestimated how many would show up! But the staff handled the big group wonderfully (even taking the time to let everyone know about the specials as they showed up). Really a class act! We will be back, but with a better handle on how many people are actually coming next time ;) Thanks
Excellent food. Fabulous atmosphere. Great service.
Great food and drinks and excellent, friendly service. Went for Winterliscious, but will return soon for brunch and Sunday roast dinner.
Great service and food in pub setting
The service was ridiculously good. I noticed that the resto offered free beer. I asked the host about it and he brought back, to my surprise, a flight of beer. None were too hoppy as I mentioned I am not an IPA guy. Explained each one...loved the one that was a little sweet and the other was more sour but refreshing...even on a cold day.
I went on winterlicious day one. I had the pulled smoked brisket appy which was cold...i think in hindsight it was supposed to be warm? The beef was caught in a gelatinous mess...
The sask lentil cottage pie was not too great...i guess taste wise it was fine but it was small...maybe i have a different perspective but for cost...i’d think veggies being generally less pricey i’d get more?
Dessert was a choc brownie sundae...great idea if it was not on soft serve ice cream...it was served in a float glass to keep it all in but really?
Now my wife had a much better selection
Starter-newf cod cake
Dessert-warm bread and butter pudding...highly recommend...ice cream was not soft serve 😆
Server was extremely attentive!
We went for New Year’s Eve and had the prime rib. It was delicious and the servers were all great and very friendly. I would go back for Sunday brunch or the roast dinner and I want to try their surprise 4 course meal with wine pairing.
Only draw back was it was very loud to talk to the people at our table or hear our sever. Also very dark and hard to read the menu without using a phone light.
Great service, great food, nice atmosphere, will def be back!!
Great food !
Took our daughter here for her birthday. We all loved it. Menu selection was great. Lots of choices for those that have dietary restrictions
The service was fantastic. I have a wheat allergy, and the staff, and manager were well-informed, and unbelievably accommodating. They also had dedicated fryers so that there was no cross-contamination in the fries. The food was absolutely delicious, and good value for Toronto. I can't wait to go again!
Food and service not as good as last time but still enjoyed!
So good! The tartare tasted great, and the presentation was unreal. It was served on a smoldering plank of wood!
The food here is always great.l! If I lived in the neighbourhood, I’d be there weekly!
We had the BBQ platter for 2. It was super bomb. Service was great. The servers had great personalities and were so fun. There was a live band, they were great. Overall the experience was really enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.
Cool atmosphere. Good beer. Good food. Just a bit pricey for the portions. Would still go back.
Our waiter was not friendly at all. So service was not great. But that has not always been the case when I have been here.
I ordered the beef tartare, I did not enjoy it. My friend ordered the spicy cauliflower and it was delicious.
Excellent service, beer and wine. We were deliciously surprised.
Have been many times. Nice to go on a night when Toronto FC game is not on, as it was a bit less crazy (although, even when it's a game night, they are fast, attentive and very friendly). Thanks for a great meal!
