   Sweet place in a charming shopping/dining area. We happened upon DC Ranch as it was the only place to make reservations on Mother's Day. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The only reason I didn't give it five stars as the service was not great. It appears the restaurant had a team concept, and non of the team was inattentive. The food was great, and the portions were large. Try the brisket salad, however, ask them to shred the brisket and toss the salad.

   Servers are very bold with respect to paying the bill. Twice we have been asked if we wanted change even tho it would have resulted in a 30%+ tip. Once we were even asked how much change we wanted. Don't appreciate that they expect 20% or more.

   Had a really nice lunch with my family. They have a perfect patio to have a nice lunch or dinner depending on the weather. My wife ordered shrimp tacos and enjoyed them and I had the brisket sandwich. Mine was pretty good, but wish I would have tried the pulled pork. My kids had the buttered pasta and the cheese sandwich. Kids loved it. Overall we will go again and the bottomless mimosas were a big hit for wife, and parents while I got assigned DD duty for my whole crew including my parents.

   Great place for date night! Food and drinks were great! I ordered the small brisket meal and it exceeded my expectations! It also came with two sides(I got a side salad and sweet potato fries). My husband loved the two different types of horseradish 😅! Will be back!

    First time dining here and it was fantastic. The staff is amazing. Friendly, attentive and checked on us frequently. We split the order of ribs which was more than enough. The meat literally fell of the bone it was that tender. The coleslaw was terrific and the baked beans were very flavorful. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

    The food is always good and it was a perfect night for sitting outdoors. The hostess and our server were very pleasant but the gal who brought the food to our table (different than server) needs training in how to be customer friendly. She plopped our food down and never asked if we needed anything else. Then left quickly.

    Six of us went for supper, the walleye was very poor, the St. Louis ribs were covered in BBQ sauce and over cooked, the smoked Texas brisket was over cooked, the rainbow trout was good and the one taco dish was very good even though they ran out of floured tacos. We were seated at 6:00 and never got our food until 7:15. Likely should have known things would be a aerate at best when they said they had run out of French Fries

    Our server was very attentive, professional, and friendly. I ordered the fish and chips. I felt the fish was over battered. Removed some of the batter and found the fish moist and flavorful. We had a takeout order as well. The bag that held the entree said, "Grateful for You." A sweet touch that indicated they appreciated our coming to dine with them!

    Ordered smoked chicken dinner….supposed to be 1/2 a chicken. Mine arrived with just a lone leg ( no thigh even attached) on the plate and the sides were ice cold. Server didn’t even notice the lack of chicken!!! Sent back to get the rest of my chicken and all came back cold. Chicken did taste good however. Fish tacos portions small and disappointing…… Could have been an off night….. won’t be back.

    We paid our $47 bill with $60 cash. It was bad enough when the servers started asking 'do you need change' rather than bring the correct change to you. But this particular server actually asked us if we wanted change and how much? What has emboldened this server to be so presumptuous? We normally tip 20% but this was a complete turn off. With inflation running rampant and the cost of eating out skyrocketing, they are not working any harder now to deliver a meal than before the rising prices. Add this to the fact that the last time we were there we were celebrating 2 birthdays. When the manager/owner came around to see if everything was alright we told her about the birthdays. She gushed on and on about how wonderful it was, but do you think she could have provided a complimentary piece of cake? Not a chance. Very, very disappointing and not a shining example of good will and appreciating your customers. By the way, we are locals and eat out 3-4 times a week.

    Deviled eggs, sucked. Corn bread, had absolutely no flavor at all Mac & Cheese, that’s a very interesting take of a classic. Brisket, pretty good. Meat tray, enjoyable. Beer, nice and cold.
