    The courtesy, professionalism and genuine nice person wait staff was exceptional. We can’t wait to return. Food was hot, tasty and delivered in a reasonable time. Once again wait staff was invisible but there when needed. Love this restaurant.

    Absolutely beautiful place to spend lunch. The room is stunningly beautiful. You really feel like you’re going back in time. The lunch menu is amazing, make sure you choose the open sandwiches. The decadent made nothing you could do yourself. Wonderful drinks menu and phenomenal service. It’s not cheap but treat yourself.

    I have eaten at the Library Bar many times and usually order the Bay Street Roast Beef dip. I have a garlic allergy, but I have never experienced a reaction when I ate this meal before. Indeed the server always checked with the chef and returned to say there was no garlic involved. This time the server returned to tell us there was garlic in the dip. I don't know why the recipe has been changed. I ended up ordering a less than satisfactory meal after waiting an unusually long time. I personally will not return, but I still would recommend it to a friend. The server, by the way, was very apologetic and did everything in his power to improve the situation.

    Took 20 min to get wine we ordered. Totally understaffed for service and training is desperately needed. Server didn’t pour sample test of each bottle I purchased and filled existing wine glasses with new bottles…. Brutal service that I’ve never experienced there before.

    We enjoyed our visit to Library Bar. The drinks were fantastic and the food was very good. We were sat in an area with comfy chairs and couches. It made it a little hard to eat because the table was so low but we still enjoyed ourselves.

    Our waiter was amazing, he should get 5 star rating. The room itself was a little chilly until it filled up around 3:30. The food was delicious. I will go again soon, it was very enjoyable.

    The ambience at the Library Bar is very good and the service was good. The food, however, was not good. I was there for lunch with a friend. We each had a drink before lunch and a glass of wine with lunch, and they were just fine. We both ordered the Bay Street sandwich, which was not good at all. It was over cooked, came barely warm, was dry and tasteless. And the dip that came with it was not good either. If I had been there by myself I would have sent the sandwich back and ordered something else. Because I was with a friend, I chose not to complain. I wish the chef would go back to a good hot roast beef sandwich that you could order how you like it - either rare, medium rare, etc. Not sure if I will ever return.

    Great Spot for a busienss lunch. The service was really great and very much appreciated the attention to detail from the staff on the floor and behind the bar. Thank you for making our lunch an enjoyable experieince

    Took my mom for birthday treat. Food was great beer selection poor. Cocktails seemed expensive but I guess it is a grand hotel. Overall good experience other than watching some hillbillies take of their sandals and put bare feet on apohlstered stools.

    We love the Library Bar, we attend there several times a year. Our waiter was from New Zealand and she had amazing energy. The menu is always thoughtful and the cocktail 🍸 are amazing.

    Lovely afternoon catching up with a friend in the beautifully renovated Library Bar. My cob salad and my friend’s salmon were delicious and good value for money. Our waiter was engaging and knowledgeable and the cocktails are inspired and delicious! Will be back.

    Absolutely delicious French Onion Soup, especially so on a cold and rainy day! Equally delicious was the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and croutons that were amazing And the crème brûlée with berries that was “supposed to be shared” was so good, it wasn’t shared, lol ! Thanks to Terry who was a wonderful service provider both with his recommendations and his attention to our needs. He was a lot of fun and we look forward to seeing him again. See you all soon!     Everything about our lunch was wonderful. Great ambiance, excellent service, small but varied menu. Loved my 3 sandwich choice (incl. beef tartare!) A bottle of Prince Edward County orange wine made lunch a special event—it was a celebration after all. Shout out to Terry P our server…such a charming and intelligent guy. He made our day.

    Sadly we were sitting right beside an exit where the alarm was sounding off. It went off for a good 20 minutes so it took away from the lovely ambiance. Other than that the service was excellent and drinks were great!

    Great place to have a quiet meal or drink with friends or business associates. Food was great. Servers went out of there way to be helpful. Just pray you don’t get our aloof/ uppity waitress.

    My hostess Christen does an outstanding job every time I visit and even remembers small details/ requests from my previous visit. And, similarly, the wait staff were all very friendly, fast and efficient. They also remembered our food and beverage order from our previous visit. All in all, the library bar is my go to destination whenever I am looking for a meal and/or cocktail venue alone or with friends.
