We had an amazing meal at Lift last night. We had out of town visitors and knew they would be impressed with the exceptional food as well as the service and location. One of our favourite, local Vancouver restaurants.

Waiter had a very negative attitude from the moment we were seated. He ignored us once we had water. We should have asked to move to another section. He made our experience at the restaurant uncomfortable and on edge.

Great atmosphere. Food is pretty good, although an entree with a couple of cherry tomatoes on the side makes for a sparse dish.
