   The place was amazing. We got a seat at the upper level, under the sun, facing the North Coast of Vancouver. Views were stunning. The food was good, very tasty and good quality. Service was also attentive, however we had a small issue with the check. Unconsciously, we believed the 15% gratuity was already included in the total bill price but it wasn't. This was very confusing for a tourist of the city since other restaurants we ate at had the tip included on the total check. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, it would be very useful if waiters mentioned about the tip or the restaurant has a note that indicated customers should tip. Overall, great experience. Highly recommended restaurant.

   One of my favourite spots in Vancouver (and with free parking to boot). Best views in the downtown core. Right on the water; right on the seawall. Excellent food and first class service. You can't go wrong at Lift.

   My wife and I were on holiday. The Lift was recommended to us. We were seated right overlooking the water. Service and food were top class. We have now recommended it to others.

    Beautiful place and amazing staff - very on top of things. Not good value for the money , it is overpriced but you are paying for the water view. Cocktails at $18 were very well done. $29 for 3 scallops, while delicious, was a bit crazy; caesar salad was basic with chicken that was just okay; watery pasta for $41 good, not amazing. Food was good, not great overall. I'd say go for the ambience, view & drinks - NOT the food. Worth noting was the outdoor patio, which was not in use but was lovely.

    The waiter didnt seem to know what they had on the menu to serve us. They were out of sushi and told us after we ordered. The ceviche was not that good.

    Clam broth/sauce was a bit watery. Seafood linguine had sweet smoke salmon in it, did not go well with the savory taste of the alfredo sauce.

    Great position overlooking Coal Harbour Marina. An ideal spot to sit outside in the shade eating, drinking, chatting and watching the boats go by. Best to book as can be busy, (there was a bit of a misunderstanding re the kitchen closing for a short while between brunch and all day menu). Stylish interior bar and furnishings. Nice ambience with the hubbub of folks chatting. Plenty of friendly staff. Tables outside upstairs and ground floor.

    My boyfriend is coeliac so it is really hard to go to restaurants. We really appreciated that the staff were really careful and alert about his allergy. Our food was amazing. The best crème brulé I ever had. Sushi were a perfect mix of fresh and flavorful. The Bison was amazing. The only disappointment was the Caesar salad. Really expensive for some lettuce, croutons and dressing. If you want chicken it's an additional 10$ (making it 30$). Other than that everything was perfect. And the view is amazing. 100% would recommend.

    As the name suggests, you pay for the view - but ain't much to view. Food is ordinary with little selection. Ambiance inside is unwelcoming. Seat and table arrangements are too close, not cozy. Not for groups. Minimum 20% gratuity by default? Who pays for the servers?

    Lovely Brunch Saturday-excellent Server (Alex) Started with traditional Lattes and Americanos. Delicious Traditional and Vegetarian Eggs Benny dishes, the rest had amazing Waffles (one was matcha!) and the best (and biggest) bacon cheese beef burger ever. Dad had Cheesecake and Mum enjoyed her Brownie and real vanilla ice cream. Enjoyed the views of the water at Stanley Park and Alex opened up the canopy to let in the light and fresh air-just perfect. Thank you we’ll be back Chris

    Our server was absolutely amazing! She was kind quick knowledgable on what to order and friendly. The food was Top notch the sushi and muscles would highly recommend. Not to mention the atmosphere and view was stunning.

    Asked for the vegan dish without the polenta as my group had a Gluten intolerance. We where told the kitchen was busy they would not inquire any request. That we should basically choose something different or not order.

    Amazing views and amazing food at affordable prices! Good for one-on-one time with old friends, romantic dates, and/or family gatherings. This is the perfect place to be for a postcard Vancouver experience!
