Located in downtown Cruz Bay, Lime Inn has been a favorite of locals and visitors alike since 1984. Our tropical garden courtyard setting lends to a unique and delicious dining. We offer tasting menus for all of our dine in guests, allowing for a tasting experience of all the unique dishes on our menu. Classics like our clam chowder and famous key lime pie adorn the menu items as well as fresh and new menu dishes inspired by local ingredients and our chefs international culinary experience. The Taste of Lime Inn gives diners the opportunity to take a 'walk through' our menu and experience a variety of dishes on the menu. From refreshing salads and local fish all the way to our triage of desserts, this menu offers our diners a taste of it all. Each guest will choose a soup as their first course, followed by 2 courses of tastes of all varieties, then an individually chosen large plate, and then sweets. Children 11 and under can order a la carte.

Our four course tasting experience offers our guests the unique opportunity to create their own tasting menu. Each guest will choose four items off of Chef Amaro's menu. It was a wonderful dinner. The best we have had on the island so far. Our server was fantastic, her knowledge of the history of the restaurant and the menu was phenomenal and we really enjoyed the bottle of wine she recommended to us. Everything we had off of the four course menu was amazing. So much delicious food it was unbelievable!

Our meals were fabulous! I especially loved the pesto Del Mar pasta and the tuna tartare! My filet was also cooked to perfection! Yummy drinks, great service! I’ll be back on my next trip!

Lime Inn is always a winner. Every time we come to St. John we make a reservation at Lime Inn months in advance so as not to miss out on an extra soecial dining occasion. We highly recommend Lime Inn. The food is always excellent, with an ever changing menu. Service is friendly and impeccable.

It’s been about 4 years since we’ve been back to Lime Inn, and what an incredible fabulous surprise! Each of the four course options were perfectly balanced, and as our table of 6 noted, every bit was terrific. The quality of the food, the cutlery, the service, they were all beyond compare. Our party included one Vegan and one Gluten Free. The staff went out of their way to give them options, which were all delicious. Don’t walk, run to make your reservation!

Lime Inn is a St. John classic that always delivers. I've never had a bad meal there in 30+ years. We tried the wine pairing most recently and it was an excellent compliment to the 4 course pre-fix. Service is always amazing and the staff works together like a well oiled machine. I highly recommend making time for a meal at Lime Inn!

Lime Inn is our favorite restaurant on the island. Artfully presented food with bursting flavor, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a well crafted menu make dining at the Lime Inn a sublime experience. My girlfriend’s delicious red snapper was deboned in front of us by the manager with amazing speed, and the key lime pie is the best dessert we’ve ever had .

It started out fantastic with the description of the tasting menu. Appetizers were ok. But the wait between appetizers and main course had to have been an hour. No one stopped by to see how we were doing or explained why it was taking so long. We had to take our desserts to go. Main courses were very good. Would we go back…probably not.

Excellent meal as always. We always make a point of dining there for dinner after our 1st full day on the Island and our last full day too. Start on a high and end the same. We did the 4 course and it’s more than enough food. I love the wahoo or tuna to start followed by the crab tempura risotto cake The ribs are always a highlight and if you enjoy Key lime pie their key lime dessert is not to be missed.

We had a wonderful experience at Lime Inn! The restaurant is colorful and lovely. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a few dietary restrictions in our party, and they took so much care and time walking us through the menu, pointing out items we could have as-is, and showing us how to make substitutions. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend it!
