Come for dinner at least once a month. Chef Christopher’s creations are out of this world!! Great place to come listen to great music, have some vino, and eat 10/10 Italian food. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and enjoying the experience!

It was our first time dining at Lina’s Cucina and I have to say the food was spectacular! The menu isn’t massive but all the attention and love is poured into every single dish. We enjoyed the grilled bread, beef carpaccio, truffle and ricotta raviolo, vegemite cacio e pepe followed by the pine nut tart and the panacotta for dessert. The food was stunning, I think my favourite was the vegemite agnolotti, but how can I chose a favourite when it’s all fantastic? Chef Christoper Hyde has outdone himself with this menu, offering truly beautiful culinary creations. The wine list is well curated with glass and bottle offerings and the service was friendly. THIS IS A MUST DATE NIGHT SPOT !!! Don’t walk, RUN!

We are regular customers of Lina’s Market so we were aware of the layout. We had read the reviews and felt we should try the dining experience. We found our reception a bit disorganized and the service slow. We also found the noise level high and the soundtrack that was being played was some kind of techno-rap-hip-hop music and not anything Italian. We asked if it could be turned down as we were seated right below a speaker but were told that the chef was too busy to do that. Perhaps they were understaffed. Having said the above, the food was excellent and would go back for it but knowing that it would not be a quiet experience.

If you want high end italian, this is it. Probably the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Chef Christopher and Chef Dan are top notch, and they work together well. They have creative Italian dishes, we tried 5 I believe and every one was as impressive as the one before. The service wasn't quite as good as the food, but still it was good. Highly recommend to anyone.

The restaurant was super busy this evening, but we sat at the bar and had the most amazing experience with the chefs and manager. The food was absolutely ridiculous, and as always I left feeling more stuffed than a well-stuffed pepper. We had the fennel salad, ricotta crostini, carpaccio, bresaola, and a “bolognese” inspired pasta that I cannot currently remember the name of. To finish, we had the Eton Mess and the Panna Cotta. Literally every single dish was absolutely amazing. The manager, Sebastian, suggested wine pairings for each course which were PERFECT. The chefs (Chris and Daniel?) provided such an unreal experience. Will be back x100.

Food is really amazing! The service can only be described as awkward. I understand the chefs idiosyncrasies of having food come out of the kitchen whenever it’s ready. That’s not an excuse, however, for the servers being extremely slow with every request.

Spectacular. Chef Hyde is a wizard with pasta. Some of the best Italian fare you can find. Not to be missed. The Vegemite Cacio e Pepe is a revelation.

Great food and service. It’s in an Italian market so don’t expect the ambiance to be fancy. Really enjoyed the egg yolk raviolo and the ricotta crostini.

I took my family here for dinner at Lina's Italian Cucina and we were all blown away by how awesome the food and service was! We've already considered this as one of our favorite restaurants in Calgary already. The pricing is really generous and you can tell the chef put in a lot of effort into the quality of the food. They may have a small menu, but it seems like they are slowly adding new items, so I will definitely be coming back with my friends to check out what else is new.

the overall experience was great, we enjoyed it as a family. the food was good overall but we would rather have some standard options when it comes to pizza or pastas as my family loves Lina's day time pizza and pastas. also it will be great if you include some sea food or chicken options in your pizza or pasta as we don't eat pork and there was not much protein in the menu other than ribeye steak

One of the best dining experiences of my life! Chef Christopher Hyde went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner special. Every dish was amazing, we were happy we got to try most of the menu. The servers were so hospitable and responsive and the overall atmosphere was a pleasure to dine in.

My fiancé and I attended Cucina and the service Tanner provided was delightful! He is very attentive and is knowledgeable of the menu. Chef Christopher put together an amazing compilation of dishes with delicious flavors, textures and were also very visually appealing. Location is great, very central and family friendly. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back in the near future!

Was craving Italian food and Lina's Cucina did not disappoint! I coincidently came across this on the weekend it launched through their IG page and made reservations for my boyfriend and me immediately. We ordered the mantecato on charred pane, the agnolotti, and hand-cut tagliatelle, and they were all so yummy. Even my boyfriend agreed that it was good, and he is a picky eater, so you know it's good! We also enjoyed the on-house wine they served. Service was also good; after paying at the till I realized there wasn't an option to tip, so I felt bad for not leaving one (had no cash on hand). Next time I will leave a generous tip!

Attended the inaugural Cucina a la carte menu launch this past Friday. Chris Hyde makes the best Italian in Calgary. I've been eating his cooking for over a decade and his dishes are high quality, inspired and perfectly executed. We are lucky to have Chris in Calgary at Lina's.
