Enjoyed the unique breakfast cuisine and had great service
Delicious food and coffee. The apple spice pancakes are some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. I didn’t want a full order and the waitress accommodated me and gave me 2 instead of 3 pancakes. Great ambiance. Will be back!
Dessert was much better than my entre.
This was my second time visiting and was even better than the first, there are so many unique options and everything was cooked to perfection. There are great flavor combinations and the staff was friendly and service was quick despite a packed restaurant. Would highly suggest going for brunch and making a reservation.
Super tasty, accommodated my food allergies and preferences. Wishing they had more of a variety of souvenirs to buy and from the sister restaurants too, as the others weren’t open for breakfast.
Little Goat is a great standby for a quick meal that is comfort food meets creativity. Their all-day breakfast dishes are great, but don’t miss out on the sammies or burgers either.
Everything was great minus the general appearance of their staff. Overall, while nice they seemed very grungy and Dirty. Considering requiring your staff to clean their appearance before coming to work.
Food was great, service was poor. Hardly ever saw our server and when we did, she didn’t seem like she didn’t want to be there.
Second time there and it is too loud. Not condusive to business lunches.
Always a pleasure to eat here. Love the food and the retro diner look. This was time number 3 and it’s still awesome every time I come
We had a great time for an anniversary; and they were so sweet and gave us a little extra treat to celebrate. Delicious food and thoughtful service. It is loud though, which can be a drawback for a large group.
We never miss a chance to have breakfast at Little Goat when we're in town; there's something for everyone here (the adventurous eater and the picky eater alike). Portions are more than generous, so come hungry. Even the simple breakfast dishes are exceptional (their yogurt, honey, and homemade granola is the best I've had).
Great people and amazing food! Best sloppy joe sandwich!
Lively diner fit for foodies! Cocktails, waffles, blue plate special, all deserve 5 stars!
Great vibe and feel, excellent food. I wished there was more to the dinner menu?
Little Goat was exactly what I expected. In a good way. Creative updates on some classic diner foods. I had the reuben on a recommendation from the waitress and it was one of the best reuben's I've had. Everybody else at the table enjoyed their food. The server was good, very friendly. I've eaten at Girl and the Goat and was blown away by it. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by Little Goat, but definitely enjoyed it. I'd go again for a casual dinner.
Excellent interesting food nice ambience reasonable-price!
I have followed Chef Izard through various competitions. I had to visit her restaurant during my first trip to Chicago.
Innovative cuisine in a diner ambience. Good service but not particularly fast. Noise level was high but we were there at 7 pm which seemed like busiest time.
My meal was brought five Minutes late w no mention of it or apology. Server seemed annoyed we asked for the shade to be pulled down.
It was a very nice experience. The only criticism would be how loud the restaurant was. Everything else was great.
Delicious gluten-free, dairy free options. I had the hash with poached eggs and it was spectacular.
Always great - a family favorite !!! We love the variety and creativity in the kitchen. Leave room for a cinnamon bun!!!
Awesome and exceptionally tasteful. Wanted to try the whole menu. We will be back
My friends and I had an amazing time. The food was amazing. All the flavors came together and just melted in our mouths. I’m sure we overate. They also accommodate food allergies and are careful to let you know if anything could be potentially problematic.
Great place for a little bit of everything before going to the Blackhawks' game. Great food and ambiance.
Busy late afternoon, were sat quickly and brought menus promptly. Coffee was fresh even for so late in the day. Server was a bit curt, perhaps had a busy lunch and was worn out. Chicken sandwiches were excellent, pickled jalapeños really made it.
Food was awesome! Macho Nachos were best nachos I’ve eaten. Somehow the chips at the bottom remained crispy. Combo of toppings was perfect. Also had a Reuben and Bulleye French toast. They were all delicious!
The hostess, Michelle, was amazing and the Japanese pancake was incredible as always! My brunch go-to.
Service was quick and efficient. Really liked our server. For two people, we ordered 4 entrees and it was plenty of food: this little piggy went to china, yum, goat chili cheese fries, and the tonkatsu sandwich. Great value. Everything was extremely tasty. A very satisfying meal. We look forward to coming back and trying more of their menu items!
My server was AMAZING as was the food. What stood out the most was Matthew Condon who works as a butcher. He is such a great worker and extremely personable and just absolutely the best. Matt is the reason I go to the Little Goat Diner at all. He deserves to be recognized for all the hard work he does and should be given a raise! 10/10 would eat here again.
Another exceptional example of Izard’s talents and ability to balance flavors. Have the pork belly and scallions pancake and the chickpea salad with chicken. Both were fantastic, flavor-packed, and balanced enough to where you didn’t feel bogged down after finishing the dishes.
Delicious, creative and comprehensive menu. Professional and personable wait staff. Reasonable pricing considering the neighborhood and the quality.
Great food that you can't get anywhere else. We brought two kids and the 3 year old loved the chocolate chip pancakes and my husband and I were able to get a great meal and enjoy ourselves.
After we were seated, nobody came to greet us for at least 10 minutes. When the waitress finally came, she was in a foul mood and definitely took our order with an attitude.
Food was unimpressive, or maybe just the meal did not start off right with the service. Also didn’t help that a fly was in our water!
I know a lot of people like this place, but probably my last visit here.
Food and dessert were very good. Veggie burger was a little on the heavy side for me, but overall it was delicious!
Out of multiple entrees.
Taste was decent but I don’t see any reason to return.
This is a great place for a fun evening of delicious food shared with friends. Very casual, friendly, and relaxed place. We hear that breakfast is great but were only in town for a short visit and couldn't check it out!
Wonderful place - a diner with a not-so-diner food. We had a sloppy goat (Sloppy Joe with goat meat and no red sauce on a brioche bun) and a chicken pot pie (a savory, delicious chicken stew surrounded by a sturdy but flaky crust). Mmmm. If you can't get into Girl and the Goat, try the Little Goat Diner. But get reservations - they fill up fast.
This place was everything and more. We had such an amazing meal and the service was great.
