This menu is severely pared down version. Most of the better and unique items are gone. My favorite thing to order was Risotto Frutti di Mare, but all they had was mushroom Risotto. If you look at the menu closely, it seems this is a generic mushroom mixture that goes on a flatbread, pasta and all the meats. The bread and focaccia is as good as usual but missing the dipping olive oil. The eggplant spread that comes with the bread is still good but no chunks of Parmesan cheese. The two slices of pepperoni were so thin as to be laughable, almost see through. To be safe I ordered veal parmigiana, within 2 minutes, no exaggeration whatsoever, it came out. As if it was sitting with the cheese on it at room temperature in front of the broiler with the cheese on it ready to go. I actually asked the person dropping them off if it was really mine because I had just ordered. I had to spit out the first few bites at the edge as they were completely inedible. I decided to cut it in quarters and eat the middle and honestly the meat in the middle was as thin as the breadcrumb layer. The veal chop itself was so small, I wonder if it was actually a pork chop, which would explain the toughness. The sauce was flavorless and very acidic, and the meat was clearly not seasoned. Worst “veal” parmigiana ever!! This was easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Orlando, and it got completely dumbed down and the quality so bad it is insulting. Shame on whatever corporate bean counter got a hold of this gem.

The calamari is fantastic. My son got pasta. It was delicious. I got a pizza. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. If you’re in Lake Buena Vista Il Mulino is a must visit.

Have dined there many times before, therefore it was a favorite. I have Celiac and must be gluten free. Menu items that were gluten free are now cross contaminated. Our server was knowledgeable. Menu has changed. Used to like the prosciutto and melon. It’s no longer on the menu. Also the complimentary lemoncello was not offered at the end of the meal. That used to be a nice touch.

Tonight we dined at ll Mulino for the 1st time ever + it completely blew us away! The atmosphere was amazing + the food was incredible but the absolute star of the show + highlight of our evening was our server, Carmello! When I say he was the absolute best server that we’ve ever had of all time I mean it from the bottom of my heart! The love, care + attention to detail that poured out from his big beautiful heart was truly something to see + experience and as a result every single time we go back we’re going to ask for him! He completely made our night and we just had to let you know what an absolute treasure he is!! God bless you + have a wonderful evening!

I have dined at Ik Mullino in the past and the place keeps getting better and better all the time. My husband and I dined there on Mother’s Day. The place was extremely busy , but our servers were kind and accommodating. My husband needs gluten free food and our mindful server brought in this warm, crusty bread that was gluten free and I am ecstatic. I was dreading the meal because most of the time the food doesn’t come up to your expectations because it’s busy. Lo and behold, my husband’s steak was cook to perfection and my shrimp was nice and crispy. Even though it’s been a long day for our servers, they were very accommodating. Kudos to you guys and I will be back again next year.

We ordered pasta, pizza and cáptese salad. Salad was really outstanding, pizza was good but for a fine Italian I was expecting more. Linguini bolognese was not so good. Both flavor or the sauce and texture of the pasta itself were below average in my opinion Excellent service though. Nice place, comfortable.

We visit Il Mulino every time we visit Orlando and this visit the service was not very attentive. There was a conference going on and the restaurant was very busy and the service was very lacking due to that. This is a very expensive restaurant and our splurge each trip. I ordered chicken parm and the server asked what kind of pasta I wanted, the serving of pasta was a small child’s serving and when we got the bill I was charged $14 for a side of pasta. The $34 entree didn’t even come with pasta. The chicken was pounded very thin and was chewy and not tender. Overall a very expensive meal, poor service and sub par food. We will not be returning. Also, when leaving the validation wouldn’t scan and the attendant wouldn’t let us out of the parking lot and said we had to pay over $30 for parking.

We frequently dine here while staying at the resort- we vacation about every 3 months here. To be honest the quality in food has definitely declined since the first few times we have dined here. We had family with us this time and raves about some of the dishes and I was extremely embarrassed after dinner cause it did not match the hype at all; and I was just disappointed to have had that price tag on dinner when it was not enjoyable.
