Love the atmosphere of a smaller restaurant. Looking forward to going back.
Food is always fresh and delicious...never disappoints
Amazing as always. Delicous tapas and paella. Love it.
We visited Lobo Iberico last weekend for the first time. I wish I knew about this restaurant sooner. Wonderful ambiance, delicious food, excellent staff and cozy tables. Seafood paella was perfect, all 3 tapas dishes were fantastic (especially spicy chorizo and shrimp skewers). Birthday bonus: hot churros with chocolate dip! Emilio played the Spanish guitar and sang beautifully.
It was a special night. I highly recommend it.
Best kept secret. This is a gem of a restaurant. Awesome Spanish Tapas and fantastic dinner. Great first time experience. The best Service. Looking forward to return soon.
Beautiful place. All the tapas we tried were good and freshly made but a little pricey for the amount that you get.
Went for wife's Birthday, looking to recreate some memories from our time in Barcelona. We were pleasantly surprised with the food, wine and live Spanish guitar. Really took us back there, small family run restaurant with authentic Paella and Tapas menu.
The tapas meal provides a nice variety of tasty, healthy food. The restaurant is cozy with a nice Spanish feel.
Cozy atmosphere and a welcome change from the big box chain restaurants. Owner was fantastic and food was pretty good.
Another amazing dining experience! Delicious food. This place is always warm, welcoming, and wonderful.
Last night we tried Lobo Iberico for the first time. We’ve been wanting to get there for a very long time. What a treasure this cozy , intimate place is ! It reminded us of our time in Spain. Our server was attentive and engaging. The sangria was cold, fruity and delicious. We started off with a couple of tapas while the bread and olive oil were complimentary!
We decided on the small mixed paella, which you can see from the picture isn’t small. Perfectly cooked rice with just the right amount of soccarat ......... chicken , veggies and seafood! There was no room for dessert , but the coffee was the perfect ending. It was very nice to meet Trish the owner who made us feel very at home. The decor , comfortable chairs with cushions and the guitarist made the most lovely ambiance. Thank you !
Great meal and service. We enjoyed every dish we ordered and the service was impeccable
Professional guitar player and soloist!
It’s a real gem in Newmarket
Great night out for something different and intimate with friends or a special someone! We had a great time, waiter Carlo very professional with a great since of humour!! Food was ok. A big disappointment with the paella as the seafood had no flavour and tasted like it was steamed an put on top but should have been cooked through with the rice which was undercooked and a bit crunchy!!! Shrimp looked like the ones from a shrimp ring and would of been nice if they were fresh. We were starving so everyone ate it all and we thanked tge person that cooked not letting her know how we really felt as we did not want to make her feel bad. Tapas were ok, fresh to order, calarmari was good, figs wrapped in bacon over cooked and mushy, asparagus with bacon was tasty, cold sausage with an olive was disappointing, artichokes were pickled with bacon out of a jar would of been nice to get fresh artichokes. Not sure we would come back!!!! Probably not. We found out after the Cook who usually made the meals was not working for some reason and we had someone else who usually doesn't cook our meal cook for us. So it's a bit unfair to rate this restaurant when the chef was not in but it was the experience we had that night. My friends who have been hear before stated the food was completely off and the paella was not cooked as she had it the last time. All in all we were out to have a good girls night out and it was great company!! Thanks Carlo for the delisous Sangria, I preferred the white!!!
This was our second visit and for sure we will go back for more dinner. The good food, attentive services and Emilio's Spanish singing made the night extra special for us. It's the hidden gem in New Market.
As newcomers from Europe for only 4 months, we really felt like back on the Old Continent at Lobo Iberico: no overwhelming TV screens, a discrete but caring service, nice antique furniture, real Spanish food,.... A hidden jewel that is worth to discover in Newmarket!
Wonderful as usual we had our anniversary and a valentines duo. We had a wonderful romantic time. We will be returning!
Lovely small restaurant with unique atmosphere including live Spanish guitarist. Food very good. Lots of atmosphere.
Paella was so good! Trish the owner was super nice, makes great food and gave us complimentary churros for my niece which were super delicious. Definitely will be going back!!
We enjoyed the seafood paella and a couple tapas. The food was great and the waiter recommended a rose wine that was delicious with the paella. We loved the guitar player. Not loud or intrusive, just beautiful background music. We will be back!
Cosy setting as seating area small but beautifully arranged. Food was unique and tasty.
Hidden gem in Newmarket for Spanish food. Carlos served us well and Emilio's Spanish music too it all. Highly recommend.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends for the tasty food, cozy atmosphere and friendly service.
Really enjoyable evening. Very friendly server and nice ambiance with live music. Not too loud - just right. Great meal. Will be back again. Thanks.
The place was amazing but the food was a little over hyped.
The best part of the evening was the live guitar. As a Hispanic person this flavours aren’t new to me so my expectations were a little too high.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening of food and music. Everything was perfect. We will be back.
Incredible food and great people!!!
Ambience and food combine to make this a neat Newmarket find. Tapas is excellent, frequent specials are worth pursuing, staff is friendly and effective. A nice restaurant.
Very well priced and lovely atmosphere! We enjoyed a great dinner on New Years, with friends. It was our second visit. Very cozy. A little bit of Spain in Newmarket!
Excellent environment. Great live music. Tasty Paella. Good service. Love it.
Very good food and great service. Staff was knowledge and friendly. Although the ambiance was quite cozy the place itself was not very large. Tables were too close together.
Love this place! Never disappointed, always great food!
Great food and really enjoyed the music by Emilio. Definately coming back
Tapas and wine tasting lovely for date night. Chatting with other guests a nice touch.
My husband and I celebrated our 22 anniversary, the atmosphere was very romantic and cozy. We are already making plans with another couple to go back. We loved the intimate music and friendly staff.
thank you for making this a memorable night!
Excellent atmosphere? Emilio the live musician was excellent and worth coming to the just for him. Very cozy place.
Loved that I was able to book on line. 2nd date so asked for cozy spot. They gave us a great table, very cozy, very welcoming. Lovely guitarist on the background. Going ther for the next one too.
Not the first time I have been here, but I thought I would write a review this time because they are consistent at being great!
The restaurant is small and cozy, so better to book reservations in advance as it fills up quickly, I did come once without reservations, and they managed to take care of me.
The food was great, service and atmosphere were all great, Emilio plays live Spanish guitar some nights and both him and the chefs show their passion for their art.
Will definitely be back.
Love this restaurant but very disappointed in ambience. Made Reservations well in advance and requested one of the cozy corner tables for special occasion. Table was out in open by the front door and host couldn't have cared less. Told me first come, first served. Then why bother reserving online and asking if there are any special requests?!
