I had a great time at Lobster Burger Bar. The place is modern and classy. They had the leaf game on behind the bar, but it was definitely more of a dinner spot. The manager was super nice and provided free shots for a birthday. Would recommend! 8.6/10

When I reviewed the online pictures and online menu the food look amazing! However, the menu was smaller than expected and the food presentation was mediocre at best. The oysters were very small and not worth the price, the lobster roll was hastily made with the bun only partially cut which was probably done on purpose to make the lobster portion appear to be over flowing with abundance but once stuffed into the roll it was bland and average. I guess overall this restaurant did not live up to the website and expectation's. However, all of the Server's seemed amazingly attentive, polite, helpful and genuinely wonderful.

We've been here a few times and the service has been great, with friendly staff. Food is also very good but this visit was slightly disappointed because my lobster fettuccine had almost non-existent lobster. The sauce was delicious but there were only a couple tiny bits of lobster.....the last time someone in our group ordered this it was full of lobster bites.

We both had the classic lobster roll - excellent as usual! This evening I tried a side order of soup - the lobster chowder instead of my usual sweet potato fries, and really enjoyed it! PS. The molton lava cake was very good! Thank you to JJ & the Team!

We arrived at the appointed time to find a sign on the door, "Closed for a private function." We spoke with the manager who told us that we were the second people with a reservation to arrive that evening and, further, that they are not usually open on Mondays for anyone. OpenTable doesn't seem to have got the memo.

We went during Happy Hour, 8:15pm on a Sunday night. I’ll start off with saying how amazed I was with the bill at the end of the night. The oysters, calamari, lobster bisque were all so fresh and tasty. I will definitely be coming back and highly suggest having the truffle fries & molten lava cake!

Lobster Burger Bar is our go to restaurant for our after concert (TSO) or Mirvish show dinner. Staff is very helpful and food is excellent and well served. JJ is most supportive and Kayley provided excellent service.

.the Caesar salad was great .the lobster roll was good .the lobster bun was poor - very little lobster and tastless .server was good .actual delivery of food was poor - everyone around us were complaining - we had tickets at RTH for 8pm .having non-alcoh beer as great . overall expensive for what was delivered

We ate dinner at LBB last weekend and the service was absolutely fantastic! Hannah was attentive and personable, answered all of our menu questions, and kept our drink glasses full. The manager was very present and personable. The atmosphere was clean, clutter-free and comfortable. I was less than impressed with the "lobster burger". It was very processed, and not what I was hoping for. My husband enjoyed his lobster roll. We shared the firecracker salad which was fresh and delicious. Thank you for a fun evening, Hannah and JJ (I think? I'm not great with names)!

Food was very tasty Service was oustanding I had the lobster bisque and it was delicious. My husband had the lobster chowder. Both generous serving sizes The expresso martini was very good too I had the 1lbs lobster as main and it was very tasty, but doesnt come with any sides I ordered the sweet potato fries with the cajun dip. Very good We had a nice pre-theatre dinner Location is perfect if you are attending to the Royal Alexandra Theater

Horrible service. Rude server. Equally rude manager. Took over an hour to get our food after we said at the very beginning that we only had an hour and 15 minutes to make it to a show. Tables that sat after us got served first. No apology ever uttered from server or manager. Terrible customer service. Would never go back. Food was fair at best.

Was really looking to a great lobster roll. We had the lobster trio and you couldn't find the lobster in the lobster and shrimp one. The classic one was good but not great. The parmesan garlic fries had way too much garlic on them! Overall I had high expectations but was underwhelmed especially given the 3 rolls cost $ 70.

Should have listened to the bad reviews. This place pretends to be an upscale bar but it's far from it. Service is laughable, the food is very mediocre and the washrooms are filthy. The best dish in this seafood restaurant is the wagyu burger for $38. The oysters were not fresh, it looked like they were frozen and then thawed. Overall, did not enjoy the experience and won't be back.

We were sat outside of the kitchen - staff running back and forth, chef yelling, bell going off - not a enjoyable experience. Sadly, I looked at the reviews AFTER we ate there and looks like we weren’t the first people to be sat at the back outside of the kitchen. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

We loved the atmosphere and had returned because the last time the service was great. However this time service was slow and the order was wrong so we all waited for one person to get their food. Then we ordered dessert and another round of drinks and it took along time.

On the pricey side but food is excellent. Our group has been twice before going to the theatre and both times servers were friendly and service was fantastic until the food was served. Once we had our main course service became painfully slow if not absent. It was frustrating trying to get their attention and pay our bill. Just a heads up so others can be aware and very direct about their timeline with their server.

Got there early for our reservation, explained we had tickets to a show. Sat us by the kitchen, with a table that had a bucket and a box of crap on it. Kept hearing the bell when food was ready. We ordered our drinks, appetizer and main all at once as we had tickets and said that again. Waitress said sure no prob. Drinks never came, got our app which tasted good. Finally pushed again for our drinks and got them when we were basically done our app. Waited and waited and our mains were not coming. Saw 3 plates be returned to the kitchen, last one was dessert with a bug and we got so grossed out. We had been there over an hour, and had to say cancel them as we would not have had time to enjoy them and make it to our show. During the experience waitress rarely came to check in, or even fill waters. They eventually comped our drinks and app and we left to make our show. Will Not be going back.

I have been to the Lobster Burger Bar many times, usually before a show, and my husband and I really do love it. last night was a little disappointing, they were busy (as they always are right before a show), so the food took quite a while (despite leaving plenty of time on our end), and we had to rush eating it, and some of mine was cold (my husbands was not, so maybe mine was sitting while his was being made?). We will still go back, its just that list night was a little disappointing.

Better customer service overall. A rat was found behind our seats at our table. Constant check up and cleaning needs to be done for the restaurant. The food is okay but overall service is very dull.

Amazing place for lobster in all presentations! I celebrated my birthday here because it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto, specially because their happy hour is unbeatable. Delicious Lobster Rolls, I would definitely recommend trying their trio combo, as well as their pineapple margaritas. My 15 guest and me were really satisfied with the outstanding service the young waitress provided, as well as the remarkable quality of their food ingredients. We were also surprised by the delicious beef burgers and the nachos are to die for. Thanks JJ and staff for providing all the accommodations and making my birthday a special one! Will be back soon.
