We stopped in for dinner after a theatre matinee. It was delightful. Friendly manager and staff. The food was great. Lobster cakes, calamari and the lobster all make us want to go back. And then the martinis, wow. Thanks for a great evening.

The service is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful very airy if you want cozy that is not the feel. We had the lobster rolls they were good the bread was nice and soft and filled with lots of lobster but the taste was bland, I feel we should of gotten the signature lobster rolls that would of had more favours. We also got the oysters they were ok, I feel we should of gotten the mussels they would of been more tastier. The lobster risotto was good again lots of lobster which was great but it was a bit bland and an expensive dish. Also the lobster burger was a bit chewy. Overall it was a nice experience and if you love lobster they are very generous with filling your dish with lobster.

Staff and service was great, very friendly and engaged. Here's our experience. We made reservations and when we arrived the hostess was on the phone and pointed for us to head inside. We went in and I asked the bartender what to do. Then the hostess came in and directed us to a booth. We ordered drinks and were discussing TIFF which is why we were downtown. We noticed our drinks sitting at the bar and the staff were talking around them. Because we didn't know for sure if it was ours we waited. After about 3-5mins I politely asked if those were our drinks. She checked with the bartender and then said yes and brought them to us. We order Lobster bisque, Lobster chowder and calamari. The bisque was a bit sweet and the chowder lacked seasoning. The general manager came to check on us and was very friendly. After asking us how the first bites were, we told him honestly, he was very kind and sincerely apologize. The calamari was good, no issues there. I would definitely go back and try again. Even though my review is not great, the manager seemed to care enough to make me willing to go back. Again, I would definitely go back and give them another try. Never tried the Lobster roll and or risotto.

The lobster bisque and lobster roll were very good. Lots of lobsters in the rolls! Not cheap, but good!

This was our third time visiting LBB. As always the food & drink were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great location! Love the washrooms! We’ll definitely be back.

We rate this restaurant as one of Toronto’s hidden gems. The modest exterior on King St., West, just across from Roy Thomson Hall, hides a smart, upscale restaurant with private booths, lots of space and a central bar area. This place is all about good service and great food. Music was lively but not loud. The vibe was great. Staff are extremely friendly and the manager Jason personally greets guests and he made a point of checking in on us to ensure our satisfaction. Within minutes of being seated, our martinis arrived promptly at the table, followed by nachos topped with their special lobster cheese gravy. This was a super variation on classic nachos and a real taste surprise. For our mains, we chose the Lobster Burger Bar’s lobster rolls, which were served to us on full-sized, lightly toasted buns we were told had been baked that day. They were crammed full of lobster meat and we both agreed that they were the best we have ever tasted - and that includes east and west coast dining. The atmosphere was lively, but never overwhelming. We highly recommend this restaurant for a great and surprisingly affordable dining experience.

I went to Lobster Burger Bar an hour earlier than reservation and didn't get treated properly, but an honor by general manager served properly what I expected from. The draught beer and deserts for four guests on the General Manager, and I appreciated it, and the taste was great! Will come back on my baby's birthday for Seafood Tower!!!

Overall everything was good, food is delicious but there were a few moments when we got a check: 1. The appetizer wasn’t the half price as showed in their menu and advert (we came to this place on specific time when the bar has special offers for drinks and appetizers); 2. We ordered a side dish (fries) but nobody told us that the fries we ordered would be for some extra dollars. As we understood later the standard fries is free of charge but if you order a fries with truffle or something else it will cost you extra; 3. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and the waitress told us there will be a complimentary dessert but at the end we saw that this complimentary desert costs extra 10 dollars in the check In general we spent more than we planned mostly because of the misleading during the service or mistakes of the personnel. Not sure we will visit this place again even though the food was great
