Our first time at Local 22. It was excellent. We decided to try all apps this visit. Mac & cheese, hush puppies with mornay cheese sauce- omg. Very rich -great hush puppies. Deviled eggs with siracha aioli- my favorite. Love deviled eggs. Could have eaten two orders. BTW the Mac & cheese has the same cheesy mornay sauce as hush puppies. Decided to offset all these cheesy, rich dishes with a bowl of fresh fruit. Fresh brewed coffee with creamer and raw sugar. Can’t wait to return for one of their egg Benedict’s, shrimp and grits. It all looks good.

All around an excellent experience. We started with two small sharable plates, the crab cake special and a skillet pimiento cheese with corn flatbread. Both very tasty. Beet salad was fresh and lightly dressed. We both opted for the lamb burger with sweet potato waffle-cut fries. We enjoyed it, and had to take home part of it as the portions are quite generous. Finally the peach clafouti special for dessert which was a great finish. Service was attentive and made great recommendations. This was our first time at Local 22, and we will definitely return!

We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Local. The food and service were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and the bread pudding. Local 22 remains a family favorite for celebrations. Thank you!

We have been to Local 22 hundreds of times (literally), so we have had a chance to try everything on the menu. The cooks are AMAZING. The pizza and appetizers are some of my favorite things. They have an excellent bar with lots of fun things on tap. And, they will customize anything. Sometimes the cook pulls up something new for a special, and it's always wonderful. The burger is great, and the desserts are excellent. Out of 40 or so items on the menu, I recommend literally everything, except I think the lamb burger is a bit dry.

First timers from out of town. Selected due to proximity to DPAC and other great reviews. Wanted a gastropub vibe, something low-key & fun, but not loud, AND make it to DPAC for a show. Could not have made a better choice. The food was terrific! We had the Cheerwine BBQ wings, trout special, and wedge salad. My husband was thrilled with the draft beer selections. Kendall, our waiter, was wonderful. Loved the atmosphere & design details. They also have a lovely outdoor eating area but it was too chilly that night for us. We’ll definitely be back!

This is the second time that Kendal was our server. He is amazing! He thoroughly knew the menu, offering suggestions. We were a bit pushed for time and he put our order in quickly so we had plenty of time to enjoy a libation and a very tasty dinner. We will be back!

Local 22 is my go to for great food and ambiance. I love their lamb sausage pizza and steak fritas. Their desserts are amazing. Brunch is also very good. The staff are always friendly, but look out for Mike, he will not sing happy birthday. Overall, a great neighborhood dining place for you, friends and family.
