Went with friends for dinner last weekend and was a bit disappointed. When making the reservation, we had a choice of "standard or bar" and we chose "standard", however apparently the only choice appears to be the bar area. While it wasn't very busy, so the noise level was minimal, but it would have been annoying with more people and bar patrons. Two of us ordered the half-Caesar and other the French Onion soup. The salads had a strip of over-cooked bacon; I don't recall any egg on mine and not sure of the other salad; the amount of dressing was so minimal that it was hard to taste and more had to be requested; the grilled baguette consisted of one 1/2 inch slice that was pretty crunchy. The person with the soup indicated it was OK, but not great. Not a good start. The entrees consisted of 2 Rib-eyes and a Tenderloin steak. The onion portion of the fritté on the Rib-eye was pretty much the only thing we could taste. Both steaks were cooked to the rare side and both seemed to have more gristle than expected and there was a pretty good pile of this on my plate when I was finished; less so for the other steak. I expect some fat on this type of steak, but not something that is a bit too "chewy". The person who ordered the Tenderloin was very happy with the entree and no additional comments were forthcoming. We shared the Chocolate Torte for dessert and everyone enjoyed this. I am going to recommend the restaurant for a couple of reasons....the Tenderloin and dessert were good and possibly the Rib-Eyes were poor cuts, but most importantly, the young lady who served us did an outstanding job. She was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable and that by itself might bring me back to give the restaurant another chance.

We had a wonderful time. The Thanksgiving buffet was delicious, especially the turkey. We had a nice table near the fireplace. The lodge staff was very friendly and professional, as was our server. My only recommendation would be to offer some kid friendly sides for picky eaters. My 9 yr old turned down nearly every traditional Thanksgiving item, he did eat two dinner rolls and two pieces of turkey. 🤦🏾‍♀️. It was still worth the experience.

Logan’s Bar and Grill was located inside Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish MT where we was staying for 3 nights. We ate dinner in Logan’s the first night planning on going to a couple other restaurants during our stay. We never made it to any other restaurant! We ate ever meal at Logan’s and they were all delicious. Great food and an excellent dinning experience each time. Our waiter Lance was exceptional. We loved him. We will definitely be eating at Logan’s Bar and Grill again!!!

Food was sub-par. Hamburgers and pork chop were overdone and dry. One burger sent back, took 1/2 hour to get another one. Everyone else had finished their meal. The kitchen staff needs to learn how to cook. On the bright side, our server was excellent and had a great attitude. Will not be returning as for the price there are better options, like the golf course restaurant across the street.

Everything was outstanding!! Great finish to our 10 day hiking trip in GNP and Lake Louise. Exactly what we were looking for in good beer and good pub food. Huckleberry cheesecake might be best we’ve had and service was friendly and attentive

Excellent food and lots of gluten-free options. The waitress was knowledgeable about gluten (she told us that one of the menu items marked as gluten free had been modified recently and warned my wife). Quiet, but we were outside so I’m not sure about inside. Nice view of the golf course outside.

Overall a great experience, but a bit rushed, We got our salads about 2 minutes after our cocktails were served. The entrees came out before we really got started on our salads - which made the table really crowded. Food was excellent - the steaks and seafood were delicious. The wait staff is not up to the same standards as the restaurant and kitchen.

While the appetizers and desserts were delicious, 2 out of 5 in our party found the main course lacking. Service was excellent for most of the meal, but as the restaurant filled up, the service became very slow.

Great food, great service, and beautiful!! I had the tenderloin and he had the ribeye. They were both cooked perfectly and serving sizes were big. I liked the choice of 6oz, 9oz, or I believe 12oz of wine. Staff was friendly and professional. I'll definitely be back.

We ate outside that evening and it was a nice setting even though it was warm that day temp wise but outside it was on the north side of the building and comfortable w a slight breeze. Food and service were good. We ate there again and service and food were good that day too. I'd recommend this to friends.

You’ll never see locals at grouse Mt lodge because it is utterly forgettable. After not eating here for years, we thought we’d give it another try. Our mistake. Ordered the spinach salad which claims to use local produce, but the salad was a good service 101 boring plate of sad spinach, onions, tomatoes with zero flavour probably because they had been shipped in from California. My husband’s burger was rare- he orders medium well. Horrible bourbon selection. We’ll keep enjoying the local restaurants that do it right.

Waited an hour for food that consisted of 3 soups and salads and only 1 hot entree. Salads came with wilted greens and no dressing. Manager did tell us kitchen was swamped when we did get our meal, and did provide excellent service remedying our concern.

Busy in Whitefish over thr 4th holiday. Picked up a reservation thru open table app. Service was spot on and the food served was perfect. Always liked Grouse Mountain Lodge and Logans food is usually a culinary experience. Apparently a couple of squirrels got on to thier wall displsy of bears and trees which was quite fun to watch.

Friendly people, but food and drink weren’t as we were hoping according to other reviews. Meals weren’t hot and just so-so for taste considering prices. Margarita didn’t have enough ice and food took a long time for not seeming very busy. Wine that was ordered didn’t arrive for 15-20 minutes.

Brussel Sprouts appetizers fantastic ditto the venison entree, which was served with good mashies gravy and broccoli. Waitress service terrible. Appetizer brought out well before the napkins and silverware- I guess she expected us to eat the sprouts with our hands. The bread we asked for was delivered after our entrees were finished. Lots of TVs, internal and external windows - was really a sports bar with good but expensive ($47-$65 entrees if you include tax and tip) entrees.

Celebrated a birthday Wednesday evening. Started our meal with an amazing charcuterie board. Plenty big enough for 3-4 people. Followed with delicious dinners. The trout almandine was delicious … and I don’t care for fish :). I had the pork chop. It was prepared perfectly. Not dry like most can be. That was served with a unique Asian broccoli slaw and jasmine rice. I cleaned my plate. Not only was our food top quality but the presentation was beautiful The atmosphere is casual and lodge cozy. It was a very lovely evening and we will definitely be back.
