   Nice location, pleasant staff and what appeared to be an interesting menu. Food was disappointing; lots of bread, and not much flavor to the choices ordered. Not a venue we will frequent.

   Lola's was a perfect New Year's Eve spot. There were interesting specials in addition to the dinner menu. We had the smoke trout appetizer In addition to their hummus. They also bring plates of their wonderful bread to the table. Three of our group started with the simple salad. Beautiful greens, watermelon radishes & pine nuts dressed with a lemon vinaigrette. For entrees we chose the roast chicken & the steak au poivre. It end this delicious meal we all shared the panettone bread pudding. It was a wonderful evening with great backgound music that didn't interfere with conversation among friends.

   I love Lola’s and highly recommend for breakfast and brunch. However, for my birthday dinner I was expecting a little more ambiance and better food. The options are really attractive and I think could be really good, but was disappointed in the portion size of my steak meal and half of a small potato. The appetizers were great. Wish there was more veggies with the hummus. Besides that, the bartender was great and super friendly! I think it was our waitresses first week, she seemed a little timid. I wish I wasn’t disappointed in the dinner selection.

    We love eating a light dinner here before we attend a movie at Filmstreams. The service is prompt and friendly, the soups and charcuterie boards are my favorite.

    Lola's is convenient pre-show, on the way to the movies (right there!) or to the Omaha Playhouse... and the food is our kind of food: fresh, vegetarian options, and flavorful. Wines "on tap" are not expensive. It seemed that unlike many restaurants they have no problem with having enough friendly waitstaff. Service was great. Traffic on Dodge is pretty close if sitting at a front window table... so I will choose to sit elsewhere. "Problem" solved! This is a place that you can go "just because you are hungry." No need for a special occasion!

    It’s a cute place, but the food, which always sounds like it will be great, is often a little disappointing. And the service on this occasion was really slow—for a cold burrata appetizer with some pre-roasted tomatoes on it and some cold focaccia we waited 30 minutes. Entrees were a little quicker, but still slow. Not great either.

    Great food and service. We had appetizers, salads, and dessert before a movie. The staff was attentive and accommodating, and very nice. Kale Caesar was really good, as was the chocolate cake.

    We had a lovely and delicious dinner before we caught a late movie. The cocktails were great, the croque monsieur was rich and wonderful, and the pine nut tarte was beautiful looking and great tasting! I also love coming here for a cup of coffee and a pastry in the morning. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here.

    Lola’s is wonderful any hour of the day. They bake their own amazing pastries and bread, but if you are having breakfast the eggs are divine. A meat and cheese board is perfection with honey and the presentation is beautiful. Their kale and jalapeño salad is a favorite. Wines and beer too, all connected to a great little movie theater!
