    This was our second time eating here, but our last. We came for my Wife’s birthday. Everything started off well, but quickly went bad. The service was awful, from the time we got there till we got our drink it was 30 minutes, 45 minutes until our salad arrived and they gave us the wrong dressing, 10 minutes goes by and still no service, I took the dressing to the bar to get it replaced and had to stand there while they were texting in there phone. Finally they dressing arrives to the table, still never had the waitress ever return, and before we started the salad our food was brought out. Then they were surprised when we said we haven’t even been able to have our salad… just awful. Finally 15 minutes later the waitress came back the only time since taking the order. We ordered another round of drinks and dessert. We just boxed our food and took it home.

    Elliott was an awesome waiter. Thanks for the old fashions and the superb service. The food was great as usual. Buffalo chicken wrap and sweet potato fries.

    Found Loma's online. Made reservations. Drove 34 miles from Morehead. Easy to find. Enjoyed the physical building (loved the interior bricks). Waiter was friendly and helpful. Ordered tots; over cooked and dry; would not order again. Ordered fish and chips. French fries were tasty, but cut so short that they were impossible to hold and dip. The fish was "ok". The tarter sauce was not good; some recipes one should not mess with. Due to the poorness of dinner, we opted to skip dessert (we actually went to Wal Mart and bought a frozen pie). With tax, our bill was $55. Honestly, I have had better fish and chips at bars and at Cracker Barrel. This was our first and last time to visit Loma's.

    Wait staff was ok not that attentive hostess was not very helpful arrived 10 minutes early was told to wait restaurant was busy then 2people walked in no reservation and was seated immediately. Food was good very loud

    Best salmon and Brussel sprouts I’ve had anywhere! Everything came out hot! Shout out to the chef:) ! Only wish they served some type of bread.

    Great meal and excellent service! Drinks were tasty. The smoked gouda hot brown was especially delicious! The beer cheese burger with sweet potato fries was great, too. The creme brulee was good, but needed just a bit more vanilla bean and a bit more 'brulee.' We enjoyed our meal, the service, and the restaurant atmosphere.

    This is a hidden gem in a small town. The location, ambiance and food all very good. I would rate service a 5 except we had a very odd interaction with host. When we arrived early at 7:10 for a 7:30 reservation we were told since our reservation was for 7:30 we would be seated then. It wasn’t crowded. After other parties arrived and were seated we asked if we could please be seated earlier and eventually we were at 7:25. It was if we were penalized for having a reservation. I have never had that happen before.

    We were passing through on a road trip and saw Loma’s as an option via OpenTable. It was a quaint restaurant in a small town just east of Lexington. We were seated quickly and ordered at our own pace. The atmosphere was nice. I had the shrimp and grits, my wife had the salmon. My children ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and chicken sandwich. We all enjoyed our meals. If I lived there, I would go back for sure. They had a decent beer selection and the wine and cocktail menus were ample. Our server, while pleasant, was also covering 3 other tables, one was a large birthday party. He could have used some assistance to keep everything going, but that’s not on him! He did a fine job. Not great, but fine.

    First off, our server Jessie was great. Attentive, friendly, and did an overall wonderful dinner service. Our Brussel sprouts were as good as usual and our drinks were just as tasty. The problem is with our main dishes. I had the scampi special which had nice mussels but very tiny and bland shrimp all served in a tiny bowl. Not what I've enjoyed in the past. My wife has a side salad which was half the size it had been in the past. The biggest disappointment was her salmon dinner. It was a properly cooked piece of fish alone on a platter with a bowl of mashed potatoes. Nothing like we've ever had before. It was very unappealing. I wish I would have taken a photo for you to see.

    Great setting, a variety of menu choices. Liked what we had though glaze was a bit too sweet. Would have been ideal had we been able ti catch wait staff eyes for another round, and dishes should have been cleared as we finished with them rather than accumulating on the table. That said, it was an enjoyable experience, and we would return again.

    We are on our honeymoon and are doing a staycation so we decided to do a nice dinner! We were referred by a friend, and was he right! The food was top notch, service was on point and it was a beautiful place to eat. 10/10 recommend and we will 100% be going back.
