   had what I always have, greek salad , no onions and eggplant parmesean . The salad was ok but some of the lettuce was brown on the edges, couldn't really taste and lemon in the dressing, The egg plant we good. plenty of pompadoro sauce , the eggplant itself was a tad under cooked. I 've been going to Longhi's since it opened back in the 70's. this was close to what it was before Bob's passed away Michelle, the serve was quit nice and did a good job.

   Took 30 minutes after finishing our salad before our entry was delivered. I had to ask a back waiter/water refill guy to tell our waiter we were still waiting for our standard menu entree. Also, after 15 minutes from when we were finished with our entree, I had to get up from our table to find our waitress in order to pay our bill. To add insult to injury, the menu no longer resembles the original Longhi’s menu. No pizza/chilis bread, no Veal Parmesan, no Ahi Au Poivre, no Lobster Cannelloni, etc. The new owner/son has degraded what was once one of a Maui’s best restaurants into another high priced, mediocre at best eatery. I’m glad Bob isn’t with us anymore to what they’ve done.

   The food was just not great. My fish was floating in a sea of oil rather than the sauce advertised on the menu. My salad was equally disappointing, old romaine leaves, not fresh at all. We will not return.

   Excellent experience! When learning of my wife’s birthday, it seemed like they provided great seating nearest to the ocean which we were able to take in the sunset while sipping wine. I we had the zucchini appetizer and organic chicken for main course. Both were prepared very well and very tasty.

    Food was only ok, actually the artichoke and pasta Parmesan were terrible. The fish was better. Service was very poor. We waited almost a half hour for bread. Then we asked for our cocktails and we’re told oh no I forgot to put in the order! No offer to comp out drinks. The butter crock was so greasy I couldn’t touch it. We left VERY disappointed.     The location is great! It was difficult to get in the parking structure. It’s primarily for guests of the Marriott and Hyatt. I had to go to the valet to find out how to get in. There were no instructions on the website. I was disappointed with our dinners. They didn’t have much flavor at all. It didn’t live up to the legendary reputation of Longi’s.     From start to finish, our dinner went very well. Amazing views of the Ocean from most seats in an open air room. Food was excellent for all four of us. I one was unhappy with their choices. Our server which was a local Hawaiian, was perfect. Super friendly in a genuine way made our night. She was so warm and was like part of the family. Would go ahead for sure.

    Outdoor seating provides beautiful sunset views. Service was great. Our server was very engaged, new the menu and quick to follow up and check in. Food was good but nothing exciting. Wine list is sufficient, but not extensive.

    Absolutely love the new location right on the beach. We had the classic Benedict and Bloody Mary’s. Food was just as delicious as we remembered. So glad this restaurant has reopened.

    The service was horrible. It was very long to get cocktails, water and food. Our waitress kept on apologizing. Not sure if this was because they were short staffed or not. My entree was inedible. After one bite I was done. Such a disappointment from the last time we ate there when it was in Lahaina.

    Such a nice evening! Because we are in our late 60’s and on limited budget, we shared a crab cake for an appetizer which was excellent! Then we shared Longhi’s style Maui Maui with jasmine rice and it was devine! We also shared a glass of wine and had a leisurely meal so we could watch the sunset too! Our waiter didn’t mind and was so respectful.

    This restaurant needs help. Difficult to locate from parking garage. Tables are in an open area and many have no cover from rain. Wait staff act like they don’t want to be there and not very pleasant. We ordered the fish special and it was over cooked. Never will return.

    Good food, good service, and an excellent location. We were frequent customers of the original (and since closed) Lahaina location. This restaurant channels the original restaurant, but it’s not the same. We’ll be back, though.

    Food is well prepared and great on the palate. Can't beat the view; ocean front and outdoors. The service was amazing and attentive. Make sure you dine during sunset...it is stunning. Crab cakes are tasty, tasty. The Longhi salad, spin of a Caesar salad is wonderful.

    Why go anywhere else ? ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC food, service, ambiance 20 feet from the ocean ! This IS ONE OF THE BEST restaurants on west Maui in the Kaanapali Beach / Lahaina area! Plus historically has been in business on the island more than 45 years ! Serving breakfast , lunch and dinner ! Had breakfast and following day Mother’s Day dinner that was delicious! 6 STARS

    Have eaten at Longhi’s in Oahu and was very good. At this location the Hostess was rude and food was very poor. The server was okay but could tell he was inexperienced. There are many good places to eat on Kaanapali but I would recommend avoiding this one.

    Our first time to Lonhgi's (this location). Our server, Geri, was the prime reason for coming, and our dinner was outstanding, so a win-win in our opinion. Beautiful Kaanapali Beachfront location!

    We had brunch here for Mother’s Day. The food was very good but had been allowed to cool. We found the waiter to be unpleasant. He clearly isn’t good with people and/or did not want to be there. He was short with his answers to questions and his responses had an air of arrogance. Perhaps they were low on staff for the day but the restaurant was not at all crowded. We would not return because we’ve had so many excellent experiences in other restaurants in the Kaanapali area. For the high prices, there are lots of other choices.

    A terrific Mother’s Day breakfast for two ! The bottle of sparkling wine was delicious and server put it on ice beside our table; ordered a small OJ to add ourselves as needed . Traditional eggs Benedict & the eggs Benedict florentine (spinach instead of Canadian bacon) were delicious & eggs were cooked as we requested! Lovely greetings and hospitality by all staff we encountered! Thank you Longhi’s for a memorable meal.

    There was no signage in the hotel to get to the restaurant. They clearly did not have enough waiters to keep a smooth service. Food was not satisfactory except the clams and the upside down pineapple cake. Portions were very large but missed the real Italian expectations.

    Food overall was amazing, we had the salad with the candy, macadamia nuts. Was good until we started finding greens that we most definitely very old. Some of the greens were really mushy and gross. I wouldn’t be writing this but after alerting the wait staff they still charged me for the salad. They did apologize which was up standing. Anyway I didn’t ask not to be charged, would have thought the waitress would have proactively taken care of it

    Although the hostess wanted to seat us at a 5top in the busiest part of the restaurant for our Anniversary, we did manage a lovely 2 top on the strand. Lovely table. Our server, Angela, was fabulous! She made sure we had everything we wanted, she was on it! We enjoyed delicious food and drink to celebrate! Thank you, Angela!
