As a first time customer and someone not personally acquainted with the "Speakeasy" format offered ... I didn't know what to expect ... However ... I left perfectly entertained ... the Food as well as the Service was ALL "Top Flight" ... Great atmosphere ... and a wonderful place to take someone special for a good time !!! Highly... Highly Recommend "Lonnie's " if you want some "Grown Folk" entertainment !!!

Lonny is a superb performer! His trio is great, too. However, the dinner was mediocre at best. The vegetables with my entree were undercooked and the chicken was extremely tough. The first time we went there, dinner was much better!

Extremely talented musicians. Well worth it for jazz enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates live music. I booked a table for my 6 young adult children, and us, the parents. 8 in total and our bill ,with drinks, came to $1400. Would I do that again? No. Obviously a table for 2 does not hurt the pocketbook as much. Lonnie, you are awesome!

An experience like no other! Lonnie is an an entertainer that mesmerizes the crowd with his incredible talent from singing, dancing, tap dancing and storytelling. He is world class!! And incredibly humble and nice!!! His daughter sang to and another incredible talent. It’s a must see in Kansas City!!! My second visit!!

What fun evening! Lonnie's Reno Club has a comfortable & intimate feel so every table has a close view of the stage. The food was excellent and the service was great, but what sets this apart is the entertainment. Lonnie is the ultimate showman and the band was terrific. Great jazz, singing, tap dancing and a generous dose of humor. Worth every penny- there's nothing else like it.

It doesn't get much better than this. Celebrate Kansas City with a special evening. There were birthdays and anniversary's and even a reference to Taylor Swift tickets in the evening we were there. Very high energy with superb musicians. Andrew Ouellette and Tyree Johnson are the cream of the crop . . . oh, and Mr. Personality Himself, Lonnie McFannden. GO TO THIS SHOW!

Expensive for Kansas City, but a unique experience worthy of the cost. Lonnie is a wonderful entertainer. The food, service and ambiance were superb. An authentic jazz joint that brings back memories of what clubs probably were like during KC's jazz era.

Lonnie’s shows continues to be highly entertaining. He is fun to see and his band on July 1, 2023 was an amazing group of talented musicians. KC has a safe musical future with guys like these. Food was good. I had the shrimp cocktail as started and it hit the right balance in the sauce. Shrimp were cocked to perfection. The Beef Wellington was a bit overcooked for my taste but flavors were just right. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was great and the broccolini a bit under, but manageable. I was really looking forward to the bread pudding but was not available last night. I took the fresh berries for desert and they were amazing!!!! Had chance to visit with Lonnie after the show was over and he continues to be a nice guy that is proud of what he does. His daughter happened to be singing on the same hotel and she came down for one song with her Dad in the background. While she was singing, Lonnie’s smile was bigger than his whole face!! He was so proud. We had a great night. Highly recommended.

if you haven't been to Lonnies Reno Club you are truly missing out on gem that needs to be on everyone's list. there are no greater entertainers on this planet than Lonnie and is trio of musicians. we have been several times always taking some new faces with us. Lonnie wows all involved every time- guaranteed. perfect night for a special occasion, romantic dinner, out of town guests or girls night. Expect to be entertained all night except for intermission. Talk amongst yourselves later.

Lonnie came out on fire! The talent this man exudes is off the charts! The jazz was so great and his young amazing talent band were mind blowing! The food was divine, the atmosphere was intimate, classy and cozy. The drinks were wonderful and we are sorry we waited so long to go! We will be back again and hopefully soon. If you are looking for something elegant, classy, intelligent, poignant and memorable make it a point to set up your special evening here. Especially if you are a Kansas City Jazz lover this night epitomized all things Kansas City.

It was a wonderful experience with a great show. Very talented musicians. I did have an issue with the service and the food. My wife's beef wellington was excellent although the menu said it should have been medium rare and it was medium well. My chicken was way overcooked. Our server was very nice but seemed overstretched. I was not asked how my food was. When your tab is $300 (dinner, show, 4 cocktails), you expect a level of food and service that just wasn't there.

Lonnie was absolutely incredible and so were the members of his back up band! He can do it all. I loved his tap dancing. Lonnie also came around and talked with all of the people in the audience at the intermission. We are so lucky to have him in Kansas City.
