   Delicious food & tasty cocktails with lovely presentation. Service was prompt and attentive. Enjoyed our evening. Tables are nicely spaced. Really appreciate not having music blaring so we could enjoy our conversation. Perfect place for taking grandma to dinner, date night or a night out with a few friends. The separate vegetarian menu is a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

   I booked a table for 3 to celebrate one of our group's birthday. I was the only one who'd been to Loondocks previously. My friends were impressed with everything about the restaurant. It was the perfect place for us that day and I was pleased to have booked there.

   We chose Loondocks for our 4th anniversary, and it was also our first time there. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding (highly recommend the filet mingnon), and we’r were even treated to couple of nice anniversary perks. Would definitely recommend giving it a try. Not overly expensive either, which is alway nice. 10/10

   Nearly everything on the menu was sweet. From drinks to entrees. It was odd. Strip mall location but they charmed it up inside. Overall, meh.

    We were not able to get a table before 7:45. We had to wait 45 + minutes to be served. A bit too long. Short staffed? Waitress was pleasant and efficient.

    We went for lunch. They were out of crabcakes and no longer have halibut on their menu. There were not a lot of healthy choices. My burger was salty. The staff was a little too attentive lot in an odd way I enjoyed it a lot better when I went for dinner during Covid

    The atmosphere of Muskoka and the food of the kings. It was an amazing expierence start to finish. Each dish was spectacular. The venison sliders in particular were amazing.

    It’s nice to go to a restaurant and enjoy a good meal, which it was but the ambiance or lack of takes away from the experience If you can’t hear the music because it is so faint what’s the point of there being music All we can hear is the staff small talking with each other and the clanking of cutlery Once again, the food was quite good and the service decent but step up the ambiance and we will return

    This was our first visit to Loondocks and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was excellent aided by the great choice in music. The food presentation was very good and tasted great. The service was attentive and friendly, an enjoyable experience.

    We sat in the bar area, which was surprisingly quiet compared to the main dining room. We would have liked to see a few more choices for dinner entrees. The Bison osso buco was very good but more food than I needed.

    It was my friends birthday & she suggested Loondocks for lunch. We did tapas style & shared everything. It was delicious!! Started with venison sliders, then beet/ goat cheese salad & chorizo gnocchi … & had to finish with flourless chocolate cake which was a recommendation from the ladies sitting at the next table. The Cave Springs wine & food were all amazing as was our fabulous server, Cindy.

    We went to celebrate 2 birthdays. Didn't know about the complimentary desserts(which were delicious) Caesar salad shared - excellent. My husband had the arctic char - always orders it because he likes it so much. Dining companions both had the filet - said it was great. I had the rissoto - it was very rich and had too much cheese for my taste. (I had not ordered it before). We come here often for lunch and it's our "go-to" restaurant when we have guests.

    We enjoyed a wonderful lunch, appetizers and main dishes were outstanding and absolutely delicious and so well presented, non alcoholic apéros made with fresh fruit, looked and tasted great, even our teenagers were impressed, service was professional and very friendly. The best ceasar salad ever and the best cappuccino ever and an unbelievable chocolate cake. Elegant, nature inspired interior, we will recommend the Loondocks to everybody.     Ordered Osso buco and it was super tough, definitely fried or heated not roasted. Monkfish was cooked well but came with little bit of veggie and lots of tasteless sauce.

    This is our favourite restaurant to visit when we're in town. The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff are fantastic, and the food is second to none. Chef Kevin does a wonderful job on the menu, often adding new seasonal features and improving old classics. Favourites are for sure the venison sliders, the gnocchi, and the osso bucco! The lunch menu is also superb. I would definitely recommend Loondocks for any occasion.
