    We waited for a while for service even after placing our order . There was a bug in one of the burgers and not even an apology or a replacement was offered . It was too noisy which makes it difficult to converse .

    We just stopped for a quick cocktail on our way to an appointment. I had bartenders choice as I could not choose from the options. Told our server what I liked and they made an excellent cocktail which was perfect!

    A mouse ran across the floor while we were eating in the study, chicken on the tostadas was freezing cold like it just came out of the fridge, not sure if it was meant to be or not but it threw me off

    Unfortunately we had an awful experience. We made the reservation based on the dinner menu. We had booked for 2 pm. Spoke to someone to make sure we would be able to order the jackfruit off the other menu since we had a few vegans coming with us and that was the only option other than salad. We arrived one minute late to our reservation, and they called us to ask if we were still coming. As we were walking in. I thought maybe because they were busy. We were the only people in the whole restaurant when we arrived so that was odd. Then the mimosas came out very warm, we were given the brunch menu sadly we asked to switch we couldn’t. So we asked to substitute an item on one of the “ vegan options “ for mushroom. We were told no. We asked if the kitchen could make something since we gave then 5 days notice with our reservation. They said no. Then they said we can wait till 4 and order the jackfruit vegan option but we had to wait because the kitchen wasn’t going to be prepping that for another hour. Finally we waited two hours. We ordered the “ dinner menu” and 30 mins later he comes back and says unfortunately we can’t make that for you, the kitchen didn’t leave enough time to prep so it’s not available… I’m telling you.. we had four different servers... They had no idea what was going on. The place was empty and they were not willing to accommodate there only table. I would recommend you not come back here and spend your money on another place.

    Terrible service. Mediocre food. There was also a homeless man that kept yelling/screaming at people and staff wouldn’t do anything about it. Won’t return.

    Lot Six had always been a favourite stop on our annual visits to Halifax. Our dinner tonight was delicious, as always and that fact is what had us forgiving the presence of a swarm of fruit flies around our table. What we hadn’t expected was that we would be sharing the dining room with a mouse that scurried across the floor not once, but twice! When we brought these issues to the attention of our server all we got was a “thanks for letting us know.” Needless to say this visit will likely be our last anniversary dinner at Lot Six.

    There were 2 hostesses at the front when we arrived. We were early. We received conflicting information from these 2 hostesses. One was extremely rude! We did receive excellent service from our waiter Eddy. Also disappointed with the menu. Not many options for main courses.

    The food was okay - fairly standard brunch fare. Don’t bother with the quiche - terrible - but the eggs Benny were good. However, the drinks are excellent - great Caesars and mimosas. For brunch in the city, there are better places. Almonak is your best bet.

    disappointed by the service and food. we waited 20 mins before having to ask for a server, received drinks (very tasty) quickly, ordered our food and waited another hour and 15 mins for cold apps and reheated mains. while i understand being short staffed, it would've been more appropriate to call and ask reservations to reschedule if they were unable to provide adequate service, especially at that price point.

    The atmosphere was lovely setting the stage for what we thought would be a great experience. The service was slow to come, inconsistent meal delivery with appetizer type dishes arriving after main meal. Poor advice from server on meal selection. When asked if the ceviche dish would be enough for a main, was advised yes but it was tiny. The ceviche was tasteless and the seafood risotto at $40 was horrible - seafood not fresh and cheap. We should have sent them back. However, the mac and cheese was outstanding. The server was inattentive. Not worth a penny! Perhaps the worst dining experience we have had in a very long time.

    Very understaffed. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived and drinks took 40 mins (2 glasses of wine and a cocktail) and appetizer over an hour. Staff wasn’t familiar with the menu.

    I had the Gluten Free option lobster roll and it was delicious! Would definitely eat here again, staff was great asked if I was okay with the fries. We sat in the patio out front and it was beautiful!

    The waiter was very nice,but we had to ask for drinks, waited 20 minutes to be waited on, husband had a full meal which was great, I ordered from the marine section for dinner, wasn't informed by waiter that it wasn't a meal, so I had 3 scallops for dinner. Waiter didn't ask if we wanted another drink/refill. had to ask for dessert menu.. which was good. The food was lovely the waiter as nice as he was it was terrible service, I've been there before and not sure we will go back, if we do , it would be to the brunch and I'll will be asking tons of questions about what exactly I'm getting so I don't leave hungry

    Please do not pass up the shrimp tostadas, fantastic!! The wait staff was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and the bartender was able to make me the most delicious chocolate martini!

    We were there for a friend’s 40th birthday and did not have the best experience. It wasn’t our servers fault but our food took forever to come out and they forgot several of the dishes. One of our friend’s meals didn’t come until everyone else had finished. One of our husbands called the restaurant to buy two bottles of wine for us and that also took a long time to get to us. We were not impressed.

    Waitress was superb. Knowledgeable about the menu, made great suggestions /recommendations that were spot on. She was friendly and attentive, made . She made the experience the best! Front door staff greeted us when we arrived and wished us a good night when we left. This makes a positive difference. BTW - mussels are the best!!!!

    This was our first time at Lot Six and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful no matter where you sit however we will ask for the atrium next time. Drinks were great and a reasonable price. The mussels are something to come back for on their own and the lobster roll was great! Portions were perfect as well but found the seafood linguine a bit dull. Now that could just be our tastebuds but we needed a bit more flavour. Overall we loved it and will be back.
