WHO ARE WE?
We’re the second generation of two Greek families that came to Canada to open some of Vancouver’s longest running restaurants.

Now, we’re taking everything we’ve learned from them to offer a brand new dining experience.

WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?
Loula’s is the Greek nostalgia of our upbringing infused with modern dining trends that have intrigued us. The atmosphere and cuisine are an homage to our namesake, a woman dear to our hearts who always leaves you in good spirits with a full stomach. Expect that overwhelmingly authentic Greek experience when you step through our doors—along with a few other things you won’t expect. You’ll just have to trust us.

WHERE ARE WE?
We’re located in the heart of Commercial drive, a spot we feel quite at home in. If you know anything about The Drive, you know it’s warm, vivacious and a little kooky.

Really amazing food and the service was great. It was just a little loud for me, it’s so cute and lovely date ambience but I felt the music was a bit too loud. Otherwise, would definitely recommend!

Service was horrible and our party was completely dismissed and forgotten by the server who was busy taking shots with other customers. We had to go up to her at the bar for our drinks (because she forgot to bring them to us) and again to ask for the bill because we just did not want to be there anymore. Had high expectations because of everything we’ve seen on social media but we left utterly disappointed.

We have been old customers of this restaurant for a while, so we were surprised when we arrived for our 8:45 reservation and were told we had to leave by 10:30. After some discussion, they moved our table and extended our reservation to 10:45. It turns out the restaurant had decided to accommodate three seatings in one night. Unfortunately, we had to leave before we could even finish our dessert, even though the restaurant wasn't full. We used to enjoy spending long hours here, with great food and a lively atmosphere, especially on Saturday nights when there would be a DJ. It seems like something has changed, maybe the management, because Loula's doesn't feel the same anymore, except for the food, which was still good.

We came here for my sister's birthday because we had heard great things about this restaurant and were very excited. The food was fresh and wholesome; however, the service was underwhelming in some ways, as our server wasn't as present, and the host reminded us multiple times about our dining time. Overall, it was a decent experience. Though the food and ambiance were wonderful, service could be more thoughtful and improved.

Amazing food and very very good service. Noise level was high which was fine. It just sucked that bad EDM and house music was blasting. It sounded like being at a Yaletown nightclub. My understanding is that’s what they’re going for which is fine just not my vibe.

The place looks very cute and welcoming but the noise level caries and it gets really loud. Food and drinks were delicious but more on the pricy side if you want a full plate. Overall it was a good restaurant for a special occasion.

The food was so great. The only thing is it felt a bit cold at times and the music was loud. That’s only because it was hard to hear us talking. I would definitely go back though. It was a nice time !
