    We went for my moms 75th birthday and it did not disappoint! The Brussel sprout salad, the burrata and the Caesar were all excellent. My mom and I had the fettuccine al fungi, my dad had the scallops, my brother the seafood pasta and my husband the tomato pasta. All excellent! Our waiter was excellent. It was the perfect amount of time to chat and look at the menu without being rushed but also without feeling like you’d been forgotten which is an art in itself. We ended with the ricotta cinnamon balls which I was unsure about but were delicious. From the warm greeting of the maître de, I just knew it was going to be great! We will be back!!

    Our dinner was excellent. Jamie our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. We did find the noise level excessive making conversation sometimes difficult.

    Nice meal in a NYC inspired, art deco setting. Lots of bar seating which I’m not a big fan of but it was fine. We were seated at the bar and it was ok but not intimate at all. Wine list was good, food was also tasty.

    We loved our time at Luca! Our server was great! Greeted right away and our service was smooth. Our drinks were made right away and our food came out very promptly. I’m vegetarian and I wish I had a few more options. But my husband loved the scallops and carpaccio. The mushroom fettuccini was chefs kiss! Bread was delicious but I wish it was warm! Overall a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend!

    Absolutely delicious food and outstanding service. Had a variety of tasting samples that were a perfect size to share among two people. The table spacing is a little crowded, but the overall dining experience was perfect.

    Love the warm, inviting decor and the attentive service. We enjoyed all of the dishes that our group ordered. The lobster risotto was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of truffle. The veal was delicious, as was the lamb shank special. The appetizers...delicious scallop crudo, very tender calamari. The bruschetta was our least favourite dish, but it was decent, just not as tasty as the other dishes. Good wine selection.

    We had an impressive first-time visit at Luca. Everyone from the hostesses to the cooks were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was impeccable and cooked to perfection. We urge everyone to try the Bistecca Fiorentina! Though pricey at $175, it was tender and succulent and perfect. We will definitely be back.

    We had high expectations of Luca because of the 4.6 star review on google. Needless to say my girlfriends and I were underwhelmed. Don’t order the Caesar salad it’s $18 for bland dry romaine lettuce. Everything else was just ok. The bruschetta was also $18 for ONE toast. The mushroom fettuccini was decent but seemed to be cold. The steak was also ok, I’ve had better. Overall, portion size was small. Our server seemed genuinely uninterested in serving our table. Don’t get me wrong, our water glasses were constantly topped up however, when asking how things were going it was almost like he’d do a walk by and was completely looking off into the distance. It felt like being served by Regina George. I would only recommend Luca if you like overhyped restaurants and live your life on social media.

    All I can say is WOW! What a great experience! From the superb service to the classy ambience, I could not have asked for a better evening. We started with the mushroom raviolo and the scallop crudo. The raviolo was cooked really well and had the most flavorful and aromatic mushrooms! The scallop crudo was very good as well just not my thing so I won't say much about them. The steak was a 36oz bone in rib eye. It was spectacular! Cooked perfectly medium rare the meat was incredibly tender and SO flavorful! The sauce it came with though..... that sauce was something to write home over. Was told by the waiter it was made from veg stock, drippings from the beef, and herbs..... I could literally drink a cup of it it was THAT good! Overall an easy 9.5 for this place. I hope they can replicate the next time I come by! Fine dining at it's best. Good job Luca.

    Brian is a great waiter. He provided details and recommendations about the menu. The managers were smooth and discreet and checked-in at the right times. The shrimp appetizer and calamari were great. Scallops were cooked perfectly and the fettuccine wasn’t too rich. All of the desserts were awesome, especially the ricotta fritters. The restaurant was very clean and staff were professional. This is the best service and value Calgary has to offer! Extremely reasonable prices for both drinks and food, they could be charging way more for the quality experience offered. I liked the waiters matching uniforms. I have no critiques. We will definitely be back!

    That was certainly one of the best dining experiences I've had. The service was incredible, our server Sylvie was so attentive and charming and provided excellent recommendations.     This must be my third or fourth time dining here and can't get enough of their food. One of the best pasta in the city hands down. Ambience is very classy and elegant as well. Unfortunately this time was the first that the service let me down. We felt ignored by our waiter which was highlighted when he quickly dumped the dessert menus in front of us to tend to another table. Then I had to remind him about our lemon cello and had to ask three separate times to get our bill. I will say that they did take off the dessert on their own accord because the waiter admitted he forgot our glass of bubbles too. Regardless I will still plan to dine here again.
