Lucky Clover Sports Pub
Un bel sportsbar non lontano dallo stadio Rogers. Se vi interessa godetevi una bella partita di baseball e non appena dopo cominciate col hangout qui. Cucina tipica per questo Genre. Ottima scelta di birre artigianali.
No air conditioning, dirty washroom and mediocre food at high prices made this a no repeat for us. They have a great location but they don’t work very hard to make it worth the money spent. Our waitress provided very good service and that’s the best thing I can say about the place.
Although the atmosphere was ok and the food was good and reasonably priced, the air conditioning was not working. This being the case, we should have been warned before being seated.
Fish n chips was undercooked. Seemed like a frozen boxed filet from the grocery
Neighbourhood gem! Decent portion of food, also got a surprise birthday dessert on the house, which was a plus! :) Will definitely go back again!
We tried to go to the spot after the Red Sox / Blue Jays game. We made a reservation & were seated. We waited nearly 20 minutes & no one came to take a drink order, greet us...clear off the tables around us. Finally we just left. There was a line out the door but so many empty tables. I’m thinking maybe they were understaffed that day.
Short on staff, floor was dirty, my seared tuna wrap was a can of tuna slapped on a grill and put in a wrap, beer was not cold, it was smoky and our eyes were burning because apparently the exhaust fans weren’t working, took forever to get a drink and our food. The waitress was very pleasant but obviously frustrated with the place...will never go there again.
The disabled access doors did not work - fortunately a kind patron assisted us when no employee jumped to help. We were put in the room with the pool table where the music was extremely loud. Finally after two requests to our server, and possibly also because she could not hear our order over the noise, the music was turned down about 20 minutes after we arrived. My wife ordered a club soda with lemon, which came without the lemon (possibly also because of the loud music), and when this was pointed out, the server returned a few minutes later, with a slice of lime, between her fingers, which she then placed on the rim of the glass. When taking our order, the server did not appear to have a solid understanding of the menu items, or maybe it was again because of the LOUD MUSIC. The wait for our food was about an hour, even though the restaurant did not appear to be overly busy. The food was OK, not great, but OK. I would not recommend this restaurant for anything other than a pre or post game drink.
When I went here the sewage was erupting. Wouldn’t recommend.
Not bad would go again .But don't like that I was obligated to pay what they felt was the proper tip !!!!
This Sports Bar is a best kept secret and is quickly developing a Loyal Clientele.
A neighbourhood gem that's tucked into the ground floor of one of the Infinity Series Condo's, on Lower Simcoe @ Lakeshore West.
It's getting to be very popular as a Pre-Rogers and Pre-ACC Venue and for the past two PDAC Conventions @ the MTCC, has been "Sold Out" for Customer Hospitality Events.
The Manager of Operations "Pearce" (A great Irishman) is to be commended for his Customer Relations skills and for always making you feel welcome.
Sadly, the food doesn't quite live up to expectations; as described in the Menu and does need
to be worked on.
Otherwise, the Staff are very courteous and friendly and do know the fine art of pouring the
'Perfect Pint of Guinness'.
The patio is also becoming popular for pre-game events.
Excellent quality and value for Sunday afternoon brunch in waterfront area
Awesome spot for Leafs games. Food is excellent and they have a wide selection of local brews
it was not our first time and the lamb was delicious. our valentines dinner was lovely and fun - the bartensder mixed a mean martini and was able to make us an pff rhe menu blue dronk - the only drawback was no debt cArd as form of payment forcing us to use the ATM
While visiting Toronto we had dinner here on a Sunday night. It was quiet. The decor inside is spectacular. The food was very good Irish fare and the service we received from Frida was outstanding!!
Pre-game stop. Pretty empty bar. Service was great. Ambiance was not.
Good food-Good Value-Our server Anastasia was amazing! Love this place
A very convenient location to visit after an event at the Rogers Centre or Air Canada Centre. I made reservations through Open Table (that was quick and easy on-line), but upon entrance they just seated us and didn't want to know that I had done that. Wasn't overly busy, but bar area and outside got busier as time went on. Initial service was good, order taken quickly and food did come in a reasonable time..... but no follow-up after that. I wanted more to drink, but no one came back. We finished our meal and no one came. I finally asked another team member to find my server as I wanted bill, in which she asked what her name was?.... don't know. What colour hair?.... don't know. Wouldn't she be able to see that on the order screen? was there that many people working she couldn't ask? She did come back to say she had located her and that my server was preparing the bill...... another 5min passes and she brings the bill, but doesn't bring the credit card machine.... so leaves again. She said sorry as it was busy...... but wouldn't they plan on being busy after a Blue Jays game?
Three other items...... (1) the live music was nice and was located at the rear by the bar, but was so loud at the front/side that we found ourselves yelling at each other. (2) big sign out front advertising $5 beer..... but only available during the Jays game...... why not offer me one for an hour after game after so that I come in? (3) when we left there was a large sign out front now that stated special of Rib/wings..... but that was never offered to us by server, as we both would have got that!
Overall, its a nice looking bar, clean, great location....... maybe I just picked the wrong night? Would I try again next time at a game..... maybe?
Lots of patio seating and inside they've done well on creating a traditional Irish pub feel with modern sports bar screens. The traditional pub food is good especially the Irish stew.
The food was average. The reuben would have been ok for a non-Irish restaurant but for an Irish one it was disappointing. The worst part was Our group had the distint impression that not a single employee wanted to be there--could not have been a more disinterested bunch. When we had lunch open the next day we definitely did not go back there.
Overall, it was a good experience dining here. Nice layout, large patio. We originally wanted to sit indoors, but it was hotter and muggier inside than outside, so we decided on the latter. Good selection of beers. First round took a while to get but after that, service was very prompt. Food was pretty good. Nothing that will blow you away. Typical pub fare. Great location for dining before a ballgame or hockey game. I will definitely go back.
Good food, good service and a nice spot on the patio
We made a reservation well in advance as the location was fantastic due to it's proximity to the Rogers Centre and we were attending an event there later that evening.
It was basically empty when we arrived however the service was terrible. I think we were the only table that our waitress was looking after, yet she was never around.
We finished our drinks and went elsewhere for more drinks and dinner.
Really beautiful local pub on Lower Simcoe. We had a nice meal (Irish stew for me, chicken club for my wife). Food was good. Ate and watched the Raptors lose to Cleveland on the big screen (sigh)...
Food is so good, especially the Seafood Pasta. But a little slow bring up to food, but may be due to we had a large group. Would be even better if this can be improve.
The location is phenomenal, with great access to Rogers Centre. I'm a bar girl, big fan of such a scene. However, this place would really benefit from a good scrub and a little more professionalism from the staff. Dirt, napkin wrappers, and food littered the window well and floor of our booth ( it was 4:30 pm). And the staff was horsing around and seemed generally disorganized. Food was decent. In general, this place has great potential. But it definitely needs a few tweaks.
The food was good and I really liked the ambience of the place, but the restaurant was relatively empty; food took a long time to come out. I think we waited an hour for our mains. The servers were very nice though.
Food was below average. One of us didn't eat our food and the waitress didn't even bother to ask if there was anything wrong with meal and charged us full price
I went to the Lucky Clover to watch the Raptors game with my husband and went back the following night with a friend for dinner before the Leaf game. The first night was very quiet. The service was amazing though and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate anything we needed. The second night was busier but not packed at all. The food was really good - I had the spinach and chicken pizza and it was super-delicious. I also had the house salad which had ample veggies. Again the staff was attentive without being annoying!
I took my lady to LC on valentines day. we had a wonderful server who attended to us in exemplary fashion. the food and drink (apps, salad mains, specialty drinks) were stellar and we never had to wait for refills. The only issue were the 3 drunk frat boys standing beside our table with their vulgar rambling. but i cant fault this wonderful establishment for 3 lonely drunk college "brehs".
good location for having drinks before sports venues. very quiet when I went due to all leafs and raptors both out of town.
food was good. service was excellent
