We loved the food! Had the Tuna Tartare appetizer which was very fresh. Wasabi was bland though. My husband had the Squid Ink Spaghettini shrimp and crawfish. It was very good (sauce was very salty). I had the Mussels with French Fries. It was a very generous portion and I shared some with my husband. Super good. For dessert we had the Creme Brûlée and the Chocolate Mousse. The Crème Brûlée was good, but the chocolate mousse was wonderful with the hazelnuts. Our main wait staff was great. We did have a mishap with a jr. server who had another’s dish which slid off into our wine bucket splashing on table and my husband. The restaurant made up for it with a new bottle of wine and complimentary dessert.

Corey and Paul provided impeccable service. We came to celebrate our anniversary and they made our experience at Luke memorable. The food was delicious, our drinks were amazing and anytime we’re in NOLA, we will for sure come back for Corey and Paul.

The setting is lovely and service started out okay...with Devon introducing himself and saying David was also helping....but didn't get too much from David as the night progressed...generally service wasn't great relative to warm. Food was awful! The trout i got i wouldn't expect from the worse restaurant I can imagine. it was overcooked and salty. I would have sent it back but was with friends i just met and didn't want to look tacky. This restaurant and positive reviews are not to be believed.

This place is such a hidden gem! We always try to hit it when in town. Always consistent great, creative food & vintage Nola vibe. Had a table of 8 very happy folks!! Love Luke!

My colleague and I tried Luke after eating at its sister restaurant Domenica the night before, which had been spectacular. Our server there had told us many people visiting New Orleans end up eating at most of their restaurants, so I had high hopes for Luke. However the food that we ordered was not as delicious or memorable. We shared the bbq gulf oysters (which was the only good part of the meal), and the alsacienne tart (basically a flatbread pizza, except the bacon was hard and dry). We also each ordered the trout almandine, which was overcooked and dry, while the carrots were a tad undercooked. In addition, the service was rather lackluster. The couple at the table next to us even commented on how the service was not great and how they had different servers. Although I would not return here, I would definitely go to Domenica and try the other John Besh restaurants next time I return to New Orleans.
