   This restaurant is everything! The food is incredibly delicious, the presentation, the taste, the flavors! WOW!! And the overall ambience was awesome. Our waiter Edward was phenomenal. Customer service at it's best!!

   We had a great time with our family for a graduation lunch. Strongly suggest sharing. Favorites were the queso, vegetable salad with grilled shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp, and lamb chops!!!!! YUMMY

   Fabulous atmosphere and happy hour. All the food was great or excellent. The drinks were excellent. We had a large party and we were not rushed and treated very well. Some rounds of drinks were slow but food came out in good time. Our server was very personable and accommodating. To top it off, a local baker sitting nearby assisted when I was struggling to cut a tall layered cake! I highly recommended Lula’s, especially for a festive occasion!

    Highly recommend Lula! Started with the guacamole, crab & mango salsa. Everyone wanted another but we opted for the crawfish queso which wasn’t as good but still pretty tasty. Two of us had the mussels for dinner and they are the best we’ve had in Nola. Absolutely delicious sauce that had some kick. Skirt steak and fresh fish were were also hits! We completed the meal with two bread puddings a la mode. It was an incredible meal. We also purchased 2 bottles of Lula Vodka to take home. We know they will be a fantastic edition to our bar!

    Mother's Day was my first time dining at Lula Distillery. My experience was amazing. I love the ambiance. The food was DELICIOUS!! The staff was AMAZING! A great place for Sunday brunch, date night, girls night out, etc. I will definetely be dining again soon.

    We had a reservation, but the host said someone else may have used it. I showed her the confirmation and she sat us right away. It was quite loud, but it was 5:00 on a Saturday and there were a lot of large parties. The appetizers and drinks were fantastic!

    This was my second tie to Lula and they did not disappoint! The service was friendly and helpful, the avocado/crab appetizer was amazing! We had the salads so we could save room for the lemon icebox pie and the pie was the best dessert we had in our entire stay! The salads were the perfect size and well prepared. The entire experience was fantastic! We will be back.

    This place was amazing. Off the beaten path for tourists, but really really outstanding food & service. We had the pork skewers, pork osso buco, strip steak, and the peach pie purse for dessert. Let me tell you, each dish was amazing. The brussels sprouts that came with the pork ossu buco were the best I have ever eaten. SO delicious. And the peach pie purse? My wife said it was the best thing we ate throughout our whole trip. Amazing experience. Will definitely eat here again and would recommend to anyone!

    The food was great , drinks were great and service was very friendly. It did take a long time to get the check, but the waitress had a HUGE table so it’s understandable. Nice date place , relaxed industrial atmosphere, but it was quite loud so I wouldn’t take a 1st date there more like a 4th or more date😁

    Appetizers were good. The service was very good. 3 of the 5 entree's that were eaten they were very good. The 2 that came out cold were supposed to be remade and brought out. They just reheated the dish making it way over done. When questioning the manager he replied we made those dishes over I watched them do it. Unfortunately for him a portion of one of the meals had been eaten and returned to the table so he clearly lied. long story short he did comp the entire meal, so all ended up ok. They were understaffed. I would try them again.

    Had a business dinner there— lovely setting, something for everyone on the menu. Shrimp and grits were amazing as well as the crawfish queso dish. Ambiance was good, and it was a great way to start our work trip as a team.

    The ribs were delicious especially the bbq glaze. The lemonade pomegranate frozen drink wit alcohol was too strong or sour tasting. The fried chicken in the salad was dry and needed a lot more blue cheese salad dressing. The lamb chops were also a bit dry and could have been better seared. I asked for an order of the glaze for the ribs to use with the lamb chops which helped a lot. The lemon ice cake dessert was great

    I liked it but didn’t love it. Three days later and I can’t even remember what our party of three ordered without looking at pictures. I liked my cocktail a lot. It was the best part of my meal. I got the chicken sandwich. My husband got flank steak and my son got the grilled fish. We paid a lot of money for food we couldn’t remember eating. If I were to visit NOLA again, I’d probably buy a bottle of their vodka but not eat here.

    The grilled fish with grilled veggies and rice was delicious. So were the ribs with blueberry sauce. We dined Al fresco which is really nice because we had a view of St. Charles Ave & the streetcar.

    Our waiter tried and I can’t complain about him because it looked like they were short-staffed. As for the rest: We waited 25 minutes just to get a 4th water glass and service set, there were only 3 on our table, and this, after asking a couple of people. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full at most. Took at least 30 mins to get our drinks. Food was just okay for the carnivores and there was nothing really except basic salads for vegetarians. The deep fried pickles and green tomatoes smell and taste heavily of seafood, since they are probably fried together. Even the salads came out smelling heavily fishy, which means the prep dishes, utensils, etc are cross-contaminated. If that’s not enough, we found a piece of shrimp in the grilled-veggie salad. The drinks are sloppily made and not very good (disappointing for a distillery), the menus were wet and sticky, and 3/4 stalls in the ladies room were out of order, with the 4th one barely flushing. Altogether a wasted dinner opportunity in a town known for its food.

    We always enjoy Lula’s. Sam waited on us tonight. He did a great job. Know matter who waits on us Yaki, Maggie, Monica or Edward, the staff is always attentive to the tables needs even if they aren’t waiting on the table that night. The general manager, Tim is always check on the patrons. Lula’s is the perfect to accommodate large party on a short notice. Thanks for another enjoyable evening.
