   Firstly I am Celiac and so much of their menu is gluten free. The ice cream cake is so good and even has a cookie crust that is celiac friendly! So much deep fried deliciousness that is celiac safe also. I have never been sick from the restaurant they are very aware. Some of the best food I’ve ever had, definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Calgary and I go often. I have not tried everything but the fried coconut squid is amazing, the flavour combinations that make up this menu are so unique, innovative and exciting. Everything I have had there has been so delicious it’s hard to make up your mind with what to eat. I also have sensory problems and at my husbands request made sure we were seated in the quietest, least busy part of the restaurant. It is very very loud but they did what they could to help me be comfortable so I could enjoy their amazing food. Also the tea is from a place Banff and it’s incredible especially the earl grey! I don’t drink alcohol and they have some delicious mocktail options! I went once for my birthday and they comp-ed my ice cream cake! Amazing food amazing service! Definitely try it out!

    We came for my birthday. All the dishes were delicious but I especially loved the coconut linguine & squid, and lamb. We loved the Asian-fusion flavours. Our server was very attentive and gave us good advice on the dishes. We will definitely return

    Had a late business meeting as their flight home was cancelled, and this was a great location for a more casual take ina. Friday night. It was a bit too loud but that’s to be expected. Al thought I forget their name, our serve was incredible.

    We ordered the Cod, warm beet salad, the linguini and two desserts.. I can't give the exact names but it was the ice cream cake and the coconut dessert. All dishes were outstandingly tasty, presented in a very professional and fancy way and the server was always making sure we have everything we need. It's a really hip and modern place in the heart of downtown. This was my second visit, looking forward to be back!

    Wow, I didn't know I needed pork belly to be deep fried, but here we are. Fantastic food all around, and some top-notch cocktails. I'm glad we went. A little pricey, overall, but worth it.

    Fifth time I dined at lulu bar. I didn't like anything relate to lamb or beef tongue before, but I changed my mind after eating at Lulu bar yesterday. Everyone in my family fell in love with the beef tongue skewers, and the sauce and the texture were so great. The duck and lamb were perfectly grilled and had no gamey smell at all which was amazing. I also enjoyed wok fried noodle, new potatoes, lobster dumplings, baked hula pie and pumpkin flan. We also enjoyed Venus cocktail, zero proof (non-alcohol) drinks, draft beer! The service was amazing. All staff were so friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable! I will come back again!

    I was excited to come after having it be recommended by a friend. I was not blown away. Two of our dishes were surprisingly spicy. Would recommend having a heat warning on the menu so it is well known before ordering. The one I couldn’t continue to eat. The branzino was very fishy and had an odd flavour. We were disappointed to be seated on the outside of the main restaurant, it felt a little lack lustre. (Would recommend letting guests know this during the reservation process). The service was just okay. Nothing special.

    Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Food was amazing. We shared the edamame, beef tongue skewers, cauliflower and BBQ duck and it was all excellent. Normally we wouldn't have tried the beef tongue but after talking with the wait staff we gave it a go and we were amazed at the tenderness and flavour so yummy (it doesn't look like a tongue). Highly recommend this and the BBQ duck. The duck does take extra time to prepare so not a good choice if you are in a rush. The drink menu is very good as well with signature cocktails, lower alcohol choices and wines. Highly recommend this for casual night out or special occasion.

    Excellent and safe place for people with celiac disease to eat!! The server and kitchen took celiac very seriously. Additionally, most of the menu is gluten free, including lobster dumplings!!!!!! Felt very safe and taken care of as someone with very severe celiac disease.
