Me and my wife went there for a date night, and it was our first time there. The food and service as fantastic and I would recommend this for anyone that wants a fun night out. The location is also great!

I brought friends from Toronto to Lulubar and the service and food was exceptional. I always have a great time at Lulubar but this time I was made aware of how accommodating the menu and staff are especially for gluten-free and vegetarian options. It was a busy night and the bar was backed up for one round of drinks, we didn't even complain, but the waiter corrected this perceived inconvenience by offering dessert on the house or another choice of drinks. Sometimes you can't control an influx of orders but Lulubar did a great job of offering a solution - this is one example of great service!

Food, drinks and ambience was very good only negative comment would be when you’re sitting outside between buildings the noise is so high that it’s hard to understand what your partner is saying

Our dinner at Lulu was phenomenal, one of the best meals we've had. The food was amazing, the service was great, the ambience was beautiful. It was a little pricey, but worth it. We went at 6:30 on a Monday and it was pretty busy, but the noise level wasn't too bad where we were seated considering. Would definitely recommend and we'll be going again!

Outstanding! Food was truly exceptional! We had Branzino , blistered snow peas , tomato plum salad , French omelette and my husband had a burger. The lovely woman that served us was wonderful! I am embarrassed to say we can’t remember her name ( she is from Brazil)… beautiful restaurant on 17th! GO THERE!!! I’m

Best squid I’ve had in my life. Never had it be so tender and not chewy at all. Really good food, filling and don’t need to order a ton to be full and content.

Had a fabulous dinner at LuLu. Israel was our server and he was amazing, attentive, funny, relaxed and able to anticipate what we needed. Food was flavourful, hot and unique. Cocktails where also amazing! Can’t wait to go back again!

The food here is always amazing, unfortunately the last couple of times the service was slow. the staff are clearly over stretched. I informed the manager that there was no toilet paper in the washroom and that it had been 40 minutes since we had ordered drinks without receiving them and he looked annoyed that I had bothered him, and I mean, he genuinely turned away from me like I was a nuisance. This place isn’t cheap, I do not expect frantic service and sub par washrooms for such an expensive experience. I guess they are printing money thus who cares if the attitude of the management sucks 🤷‍♀️

Amazing food, drinks, and service. We were sat outside next to the speaker, so it was pretty loud, but still enjoyable. Highly recommend the Vietnamese Tataki and the Coconut squid. Will definitely come back next time we are in Calgary.

Service was a little all over the place with multiple servers helping one table and our group. Resulted in plates going to wrong people and just slow to get the plates out. I would’ve preferred to have them all at once. They came out one at a time which was odd for me. Still overall good experience. Busy likely played into confusion and wait

Great spot on 17th. The food is simply phenomenal. Asian fusion might be my best description. The diversity of ingredients and flavors sets Lulu apart. See pictures for more. Service and staff is very welcoming and greet with recommendations. Atmosphere is vibrant with multiple seating options: front patio, side patio, inside, or at the bar.

Was a fantastic experience! We enjoyed S&P pork belly, linguine, lamb, snow peas, & hula cake for dessert. Everything was so good and our server was top notch. Overall 9/10 experience and would recommend to others!

Had lunch out in the patio near street. Service and food were excellent. Next time I will eat inside or side patio as street traffic was very noisy but that was my bad choice. There is free customer parking I noticed on my way out which is in the back of the building.

Top notch service and beautiful restaurant. As a celiac I felt safe eating here which was such a great feeling. We ordered 6 dishes to try. The beef tongue skewers and pork belly were AMAZING!!! The coconut squid was also noteworthy. The duck dish was good (the shredded duck was amazing), however the duck breast was closer to well done than medium so a little tough. Turmeric pancake was bland, but the sauces and fresh herb def elevated the dish. The sauce on the chicken and spam skewers need a rethink/more flavour. I will for sure go back and can't wait to try new items.

We waited almost an hour for our food and the new table beside us had ordered, finished all their food. The sever never came to apologize or explain why it took so long for out simple orders.

It was ok. But not nearly what we thought it would be. Bar was constantly behind so drinks were quite late. Food was pretty good but not near the prices being charged. $18 cocktails is steep.

Our server (forgot her name, but tall blonde) was super friendly and knowledgable, was able to give great suggestions to navigate us through the menu to accommodate allergies. The food was amazing as always, tried the noodle salad for the first time and loved it. Overall great time.

As always, so very delicious. I had the special of the day... amazing. The cocktails are excellent. I had the dessert - I think it was called hula something... I realize it is a dessert for 2 but I conquered that plate all by myself. No regrets.

Came for my birthday celebration. The server did her job but wasn’t too welcoming, and definitely did not care at all that we were there celebrating something. We ordered two desserts and requested a candle in either one. There wasn’t a candle in either. It’s not a big deal but kind of awkward to make them stick in a candle in after the fact. Also didn’t receive anything complimentary for my birthday which isn’t required but would have been appreciated. The food was really good though. I love the Asian inspired/fusion dishes.
