   The place was so loud! The food was okay, though we had the Cod and that was not great. The squid great The Thai noodles great The chicken skewers (tasty) but poor value for what you get The service was a bit slow and the Cod took so long to get compared to our other entrees. Overall I would go back, but I would adjust my order and prob try and find a time that was less busy and less loud.

   Menu is a mix of shareable and mains. Food tasted very good but comes out when ready. Not always grouped as one would expect. Our veggie sides came much sooner than mains.

    I had been to LuLu some time ago and my friend had never been. The staff demonstrated a team effort to ensure that we had everything we needed at all times. They were pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was delicious, especially the lobster dumplings. The stake was cooked to perfection and the snow peas were so fresh. We stayed longer than expected because the ambiance and experience was so great

    Lovely vibe and delicious food! Especially loved the edamame, poke, fried coconut squid and the baked hula for dessert. Didn’t love the dumpling wrappers on the lobster, very goopy. Also wasn’t a fan of the grilled chicken satay. I want to try the crispy new potatoes next time!

    Fantastic night out at Lulu Bar. The food was great...highly recommend the Squid, the Mochiko Chicken and the Wok Fried Noodle. Our Server, Elisha, was great.

    Fantastic experience. Great staff. Our waiter, Israel, made the experience that much more memorable. As a gluten free individual, it can be hard to find gluten free duck and calamari. Lulu Bar has both.

    Our server (Nick) was phenomenal, very informative and friendly. Love the atmosphere and the small plates/sharing aspect. Highly recommend as a group outing, but make sure that you go with other people who like to share and try new things.

    Creative dishes, excellent value. We had the Salt and Pepper Pork Belly, Beef Tongue Skewer, Crispy Potatoes, Lobster Dumplings, BBQ Crispy Half Duck and the Coconut Curry Linguini. Everything was wonderful, particularly the Beef Tongue, Duck and Linguini.... Creative cocktails were also nice. The service was incredible.

    We saw Lulu in the top 100 restaurants in Canada and decided to try it out on our one night out in Calgary - we loved every morsel, the food is so special - a great place to try all kinds of food and drinks and talk as you go from dish to dish.     With so many places to try, why return to the same spot again and again? Attention to detail and the guest experience which has never disappointed at Lulu Bar. For a quick drink; dinner; a long-visit the space, the kitchen, the atmosphere all delivers on expectations but it's the staff — and on this occasion the bar staff — that make keep everything fresh, professional, and fun.     We set on the enclosed patio. It was very nice, relaxing and fun. Service was amazing. We were well looked after. It was first time trying the food and it was delicious. Lots of gluten free options. Definitely will go back again.

    It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited to try so many different things on a single menu—everything was delicious and I’m only sad I couldn’t eat more. Service was quick and I was never without a drink. Only let down was having made a reservation over a week in advance and then having the hostess struggle to find us a table for two. They placed us outside directly in front of the side door so my friend was sitting at an angle to avoid getting knocked into from people walking in and out of the doorway. Not where I expected to be seated and we did find that very uncomfortable; no one wants to feel like a literal obstacle.

    Cocktails were average. We ordered slow roasted lamb and coal roasted cod. Cod was good, but lamb was extremely chewy. Overall not worth the price.

    Last night a friend and I decided to make Lulu Bar the restaurant of choice. I thought the food was excellent. Even better than the last 2 times I have been there for lunch! Who ever was cooking last night was Spot On! The restaurant is very lively and extremely noisy. It’s very hard to have a conversation with someone when everyone is yelling above the next person ! Not sure if the restaurant could do something to make the upstairs of the restaurant alittle more intimate for people who like to talk during their time with friends without shouting.

    I went out with some younger family members who thought Lulu looked like a great place. Because it looked very popular I was hoping it wouldn’t be too loud to hear each other and the food wouldn’t be too ‘weird’ and/or fanciful for me to enjoy - I’ve found several very trendy restaurants to be very disappointing in both regards as they try too hard to be different and cutting edge. I was very impressed when we arrived and led to a quieter spot as I had requested, because the place is clearly very popular and it was a tiny bit loud for me in the main part (b/c of some hearing difficulties nowadays…) Our server was absolutely lovely, very charming and knowledgeable, and he was attentive enough to makes us feel looked after while still giving us enough space to visit and catch up with our party. And although I felt a bit hesitant about several of the menu descriptions every single dish (of 5) was absolutely delicious, and beautifully served! I’m very glad we were able to share such a lovely meal here together. Thank you to all of the Lulu staff who made our visit here so pleasurable!
