Excellent Meal. Started with a shared margarita pizza, delicious! Split a caesar salad very good, especially the shaved parmesan! The fried Calamari came with 2 large deep fried shrimp which were amazing! Had the striploin steak, thick cut medium rare, served pre- sliced. The steak was perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth, fantastic! Finished with an espresso and lemon twist accompanied by a rich, bitter candy topped Creme Brulee. Whole meal enhanced by a very nice bottle of 2016 California red. Not inexpensive, but very good value as evident by a fullhouse the Friday night we dined. I'd highly recommend Luna for any special occasion, or just a change from your regular commercial steakhouse.

Really pleasant service and ambiance, however, the service was quite slow, it took 20 min just to get the bill and the food was very over priced for what it was. It wasn’t amazing flavor, my pasta was actually very undercooked (not aldente, I mean it was still raw in the center). I couldn’t quite justify the high price tag for the quality of the meal. The calamari was really yummy. Over all nice experience but based on the quality of the food I wouldn’t go back.

No better way to spend Family Day than to visit Luna Ristorante and indulge in perfectly prepared Italian & Mediterranean Cuisine! Wine selection was excellent and the service was beyond amazing. Wood-fired pizza is a must have, as well as their lightly-battered calimari. Five stars all the way around!

Truly an amazing experience. It was my first time and everyone at Luna makes you feel like family. I’ve never been so pleased with each course. As soon as I had my first bite I didn’t want to leave and you won’t either. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes.

We attended this fairly new restaurant at the recommendation of a few local friends. It was my wife’s birthday and we took the kids. My simple advise is to get there now. Everything is just fabulous and Mel made our night. The only negative would be that due to there incredible everything... I won’t be able to get in anytime soon. Thanks Keith & Fam

Food was very good but the Lunch menu is more like a dinner menu. Price was $40 per person with no alcohol, which is quite high for lunch. Service was extremely relaxed, especially for midweek lunch time and given that the restaurant was virtually empty. While it was nice to not be rushed, we did have to eventually request our bill. While I would recommend Luna, I would make sure to speak about price & speed of service in my recommendation.

The owner is just a lovely lady. You feel like your eating in her own home. Food was good though my preference would be a bit less pancetta in the vodka rose sauce. This is not a place to come to if your in a rush because she makes everything fresh but it’s worth the wait.

Awesome food and service

I am so happy we've chosen Luna to celebrate our wedding anniversary on September 7.Melanie and Dominic surrounded us and our guests with royal care. We placed 11 different meal orders and everything was delicious. The restaurant has classy setting with friendly and warm atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of Europe. The owners went above and beyond to make our day very memorable. They were very attentive and caring but not intrusive,always smiling. I would say Luna is the precious jewel of York Region. Our family and friends will be back for sure.

A very nice experience for me and my guests. The food was excellent and the owners made the evening even better. I will definitely go again.

When the 6 of us arrived we were greeted by the owner Mel, who was very friendly, taking the time to go through items on the menu, describing each in detail. She was very passionate about the quality and taste of the food and soon our mouths were watering, eager to enjoy. We were served by Domenic, her husband, who was very efficient and also treated us with warmth and humour as if we were guests at his own dining room table. All of us enjoyed our selection of apps and mains and agreed this was a terrific dining experience. We will definitely make this restaurant a repeat destination.
