   Don’t fall for the happy hour specials it’s a scam. We ate there with a group earlier in week and the caprese was $22 today the happy hour $12 the original has at least 2 extra full tomatoes and no lie 10 times the cheese! We were thoroughly disappointed! The service was marginal at best as they don’t give any bread service for being Italian restaurant and not cheap you ask for Parmesan cheese and they bring two tablespoons of it in dish and run away so you can’t ask for more. Never came around for refills either. It’s like they’re trying to skimp on everything which is just tacky.

   Our server (don’t remember his name - sorry) was awesome. Very chatty, very knowledgeable about where all the food came from. It was crazy (good crazy) to hear that the flour we were eating was one of a kind, made locally near Calgary! Great service, great food (as always). Thank you!

   Authentic Italian food and outstanding service. Spicy rigattoni ala vodka, carbonara and Agnolotti were delish. Wouldn't miss Agnolotti.The pepe dish was our least fav. All in all, a must go restaurant while you are in Banff.

    I highly recommend trying out Lupo. The food was amazing, fresh, and memorable. Our server was knowledge, friendly and prompt. The happy hour is a great deal, and is recommend making a reservation as there was a line up right at 4:30, when the happy hour starts and when they opened for dinner service. I can't wait to go again to try other items on the menu. There were two of us and we had the Uncle Morty's pizza and the Agnolti pasta. The pasta was rich, but perfectly seasoned and al dente. The pizza dough is sour dough, and all menu items are made in house.

    Had dinner here a few weeks ago. The food was delicious and the service from Joel was polite, friendly, and efficient. I really enjoyed the foccacia and carbonara. The pasta was fresh and the carbonara made the right way with guanciale and no heavy cream anywhere. Get the tiramisu to share! It was very tasty and came in a large coffee cup!

    We had the best dinner - pasta was made on-site and delicious. Pizza also fab - thin crispy base and fresh ingredients. Service was outstanding- staff friendly and fun. Would also recommend the daily happy hour. Great value and perfect for an early dinner.

    Excellent food, service, and value. The Caesar salad was delicious and we were able to share among 4 people. I asked for a special preparation of a menu item and the staff/chef was very accommodating and the dish was delicious. They did not have a cabernet, but the waiter made an excellent alternative choice that was superb. Highly recommend eating here!!!

    Every bit of our experience at Lupo was par excellence . . . from the food and adult beverages to the service. Be sure to try the Crunchy Truffle Tuscan Fries (polenta) and ask to be seated in Dean's section. He'll take good care of you!

    Dean was phenomenal ! We had a louder group (family visiting/reunion and all), and he was so patient, made excellent recommendations and it was his birthday too! First time here and happy hour was on, would definitely go back for it again and even try out dinner service.

    The restaurant was busy and our table position was not great but everything else was terrific. The food was well prepared and tasty. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. Our food, seafood linguini was very good, as was the Caesar salad and the focaccia bread. The patio looked awesome and I’m sure it is great on a nice warm evening.

    This is a beautiful Italian restaurant in the hearth of Banff. The food was delicious and there is definitely something for everyone. Their fresh pasta are definitely a must try. And our server did an excellent job, really welcoming and he knew the menu like the back of his hand. I highly recommend you try it if you like Italian food.
