    We were a VERY late reservation and the staff and kitchen we accommodating and entertaining. We had a quiet dinner as we were amongst the last patrons for the evening. The food was amazing - as described by our servers, who were friendly and attentive. Mark made the evening personable. We will definitely visit again the next time we can be in the area.

    Came to celebrate my first anniversary with my wife. This was our second time as we celebrated getting married here the day after our wedding, so it has a special significance to us. Once again, LUX was a phenomenal place to dine and for us to celebrate at. Very delicious food (the LUX Bacon is our favourite!) and super friendly and welcoming staff and servers. Highly recommend!

    Joanne was our server she was absolutely amazing. I’m super pick with a steak so when i say the steak and just the food in general was so amazing I genuinely mean it. So totally worth every penny.

    The food was amazing, and our waiter was very attentive. The overhead pod lighting was abrasive and turned the atmosphere away from the intimate atmosphere I was after.

    Didn’t validate my parking and I returned and celebrated my one year anniversary, which btw, we had our wedding reception at your place exactly a year prior. The manager was a tad dismissive too.

    I always liked this restaurant and I’m happy it’s back. My favourite dish was always the lobster Mac and cheese and it’s still delicious. Food was fantastic for all 3 of us. Service as well.

    This was our first time visiting this restaurant. My family and I were celebrating my daughters 14th bday. The restaurant had a good vibe to it . Also, wasn’t to busy at that time. I really enjoyed the drink menu . Lots of variety to choose from. The food menu was good too. I think overall our server made things special for us. Her customer service was outstanding ! She was fast at taking our orders and bringing them out ! Joanne was very kind even tho we were a table of 9 and ordering lots of drinks lol. She’s a very lovely lady , thank you !! I will be back soon .

    This place got revamped and is better then ever before. Things on the menu are executed very well. Great liquor and wines are available. Honestly the last time I went prior to this was over 6 or 7 years ago and I was hesitant to go, but it was so good we went twice in a week. Great steaks and burgers . We shared some appetizers that were great as well. Large portions for a good price .

    Absolutely great team and management. We had booked a larger table and our friends were late / some no showed and they absolutely were so gracious about it . Food is spot on and large portions . Wonderful 1/2 price wine special on Wednesdays and great non alcoholic beers available. Really great for game day as connected to stadium via pathway & they are very speedy on service . Will be going back, even non game day

    This was our first time back to Lux after a few years, and we had a very nice pre-symphony dining experience. Convenient location if you're heading out to events downtown. Everything we tried was tasty: perogy appetizer, kale salad, sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, skillet peanut butter cookie. The steaks are à la carte (like so many steak houses these days) and there are some pricey cuts. They have a good selection of California wines on their list. The staff did an excellent job accommodating my shellfish allergy, considering all of the lobster, oysters, etc. on the menu. Lux keeps a fryer free from gluten and shellfish.

    We came here for our anniversary and had wonderful service, the restaurant itself had a very Seren mellow vibe, quite romantic. My girlfriend had the burger, and I had a tenderloin, both were fantastic. The only downside to the meal was my twice baked potato which was incredibly dry. Overall a very nice experience and we would definitely come back.

    Shepherds Pie, steak, burger and poutine were all delicious! Our server Lindsay was awesome. She had a real nice blend of professionalism and hospitality. Her wine and food recommendations were very good. My friend tried a martini for the first time and didn't like it. They replaced it with another drink for free. A great dining experience on a quiet Easter Monday.

    I actually liked this restaurant, the food was good and our waiter Forrest was wonderful. What I didn't like, as a first timer, was (1) the fact that the entrance was hard to find, the building and the door had the same colour and no sign to indicate (2) there was no greeter when we stepped into the restaurant, only a sign that says proceed to the steakhouse. There were some people before us so we stood there thinking it was a line. After a while we stepped away to call the restaurant to let them know we were there for our reservation, and a gentleman who was in the line up before us came to talk to us and showed us where to go to check in. Our evening was ok after that

    I have eaten at this restaurant many times, pre-COVID. While the service was still excellent, the food was mediocre at best. Disappointing. I hope they can recover their previous form.
