   The steak and frites were cooked and seasoned perfectly and are a great bargain. The professional way this restaurant operates contributes greatly to the pleasure of dining there. We observed Carlos, one of the managers, jump in and repeatedly hjelp out staff as well as greet and chat amiably with customers. Our server Jordan was the perfect blend of friendliness and thoughtful service. He checked back regularly but was not intrusive. This is a neighborhood gem,

   Great atmosphere and food. Just took a long time for drinks, then the food and waited quite awhile for the bill. Our waitress was very sweet though. I would go back bbut would definitely not plan on a quick meal.

   Server was terrible. Food/drink are great and great value. Usually service is not like this, but it was unbelievably bad Saturday. Took 25 minutes before they even greeted our table.

   Beautiful ambiance with flowers decorating the outdoor seating area. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and fast. I had mimosas and a delicious brunch food.

    We met lifelong friends, whom we hadn’t seen in a while. Our server was wonderful! She was sensitive in knowing that we wanted to enjoy a leisurely dinner, yet her timing to come to our table was on point! All of our dinners were delicious and cooked to perfection.     Thank you to the host and staff. It was lovely. Filet mignon sliders were excellent, although 1 1/2 were undercooked for my request, but that’s ok since I took them as leftovers.

    We had a res at 8pm and we got there at 8, however we were not seated until 8:45. We got seated around 8:30 and then they said the table had been promised to someone else so they made us get up and wait another 15 minutes. Once seated the service was fantastic and the food was good, but it was a bit ridiculous to have to wait so long.

    The restaurant was extremely loud. We booked a reservation and we’re sat 20 min late. Our food was cold and the Diet Coke was flat. Not our favorite meal

    Silverware and cups for water were dirty. Staff was too busy to have a moment ti complain. My eggs were hanging off the plate when brought to my table too 😑

    My husband, our daughter, and I celebrated our daughter's piano performance with delicious dishes, great drinks, and outstanding service! The noise level was a bit too high, but I love to see people come and dine at LuxBar. We still felt at home! We will come back again and again! Thank you!

    We live nearby, but had not been to LuxBar in quite awhile. We are glad we returned. The atmosphere was lively, the food very good and the service topnotch. We will comeback more often!

    We had a lovely table for two outside on a beautiful Chicago evening. Very good service. The fillet sliders were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We split a crabcake had 3 sliders and a sharable plate of pizza and that was plenty of food. And great cocktails.
