Very good value but some items were misses. The appetizers and the braised short rib pasta were great. Entrees were mediocre and so was dessert. The waiter was good.

food was delicious. maybe one of the best ribeye steaks i've had. service was fast and great. owner or manager, personally came and checked up on us which was pretty cool. definitely will return for sure!

Always a great meal! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites include any of the steaks or pastas. I sometimes just order appetizers for my meal because they are all so incredibly delicious.

The restaurant is very attractive, wait staff was professional and the food was excellent. There is lovely outside dining area and a great bar. All and all, a first rate dining experience at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Not often I want to write a review, but Macelleria was quite poor. First the Clams Oregenato were not cooked enough, the Sole Oregenatta was overspilled with the bread crumb cover, but worst was the Rigatoni Bolognese that had little to no bolognese, with a red sauce that tasted like it came out of a can. Topping it off was the waiter who let us sit for 20 minutes and never came by again after we said no dessert and when I had to find him I turned my back to see him talking with the Hostess.

We came here for Valentine's Day dinner. It was just the two of us, not three. Our waiter was great. He was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu selections. We had the grilled octopus and fried calamari for appetizers. (My boyfriend said the octopus was the best dish of the night!) For entrees, we had the rib-eye and rigatoni bolognese. Side dishes were sauteed onions, mushrooms and creamed spinach, which was the least favorite of the night. For dessert, we chose the Italian cheesecake. I wished we ordered the chocolate mousse. The ambiance nice and dim...it got louder as the night went on. Overall, we'd come back again, just for the octopus!

Sis and I took Mom out for her birthday. She wanted steak so i was looking online for a place to take her. I liked the menu and what I read in the reviews so I said let's give it a try. It was a great choice. Appetizers and dinner was delicious, service was great. By the time we reached dessert time Mom was stuffed so she didn't order anything but i had noted in the reservation it was her birthday. They brought her a little something with a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday to her. It was a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend and definitely come back!

octopus, cesear salad, pasta with short rib ragu, italian cheesecake all great. The seafood in my frutti de mare was not very hot but the pasta was hot. And too much calamari in the frutti de mare. Service was excellent.

It was our first dinner at Macelleria's but it won't be our last. The food was delicious and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The space is lovely and warm and not too loud.

Usually love this place. Have dined here many times and never had a bad meal. Only bad experience ever was on Mothers’ Day, when the restaurant absolutely could not handle the volume. But still enjoy coming back. The management is not particularly warm and welcoming, but the servers are unfailingly attentive and gracious. Enjoyed a very nice lunch this week. Food was good as always - in fact, branzino was quite magnificent. But: I ordered a simple iced tea. This was not a drinking lunch. The tea was infused with something I cannot identify but it was delicious. Now for the punchline: it was served in the smallest glass I ever saw for an iced tea anywhere. Probably about 6 ounce capacity. Did not seem to be even 8 oz. Filled with ice before the tea pour, of course. When the bill came, I knew I was in a fine dining establishment and so I did not expect it to cost $1.50. But they charged $6.00 for that. I did not complain. I paid the bill and tipped generously as I always do. Repeating - I thought the food pricing was fair. No complaint there. But $6.00 for an undersized iced tea? Really? It sours my view of the whole place and the whole experience, which is very sad because I really do like that restaurant.
