    Maddie Hatter was delightful! I took my 9-year old twins there for tea and we all had a wonderful time. The food was excellent - great quality and taste, and a range of flavours to choose from. Scones with Devon cream and jam were heavenly and the desserts were wonderful. There’s a wide range of teas to choose from, and all three of ours were delicious. Price for tea is lower here than at comparable places, so I will continue coming back!

    Our first time there and wont be our last...such a quaint, little tea top with delicious food and treats. The team working there all had smiles on their faces, polite, very accommodating, and service was efficient too. Loved, loved the atmosphere, and cute to see some other guests with their fancy hats or outfits for the Maddie Hatter theme.

    I don’t like to post negatively. It was less than expected. We travelled more than an hour to celebrate a birthday (selected celebrating a birthday on the reservation page) but there was no acknowledgement. The sandwiches were very bland and effortless. The dessert tier did not seem very fresh, refrigerated a bit too long. I would recommend this tea shop for a Cream Tea instead of Afternoon Tea as the tea selection was extensive and the scones were good.

    We were sat in a dark corner, despite several sunny spots and having a reservation. when asked for a nicer table I was told those were reserved. When I reserved a week before, what should I have specified? Also the nicer table was empty for the full two hours I was there. Service was slow to non existent. Food was ok but over priced.

    This high tea was super cute and tasty! When you walk in, there are so many things to look at; from artwork pertaining to Alice in Wonderland, tea cups and clocks. The high tea is what we had ordered and it didn’t disappoint. Lots of little finger sandwiches to try like chicken with mango chutney a crostini with cucumber and cream cheese and more. The scone with clotted cream and jam were to die for plus all the desserts. I had the chai tea and we also opted for mimosas. So good. Can’t wait to go back!

    I was treating a very good friend to lunch and it was just lovely. The only thing I didn’t care for was the Royal Pudding. The scone was a bit too hard. Overall I would say it was a great lunch and I would return, and recommend the place.

    I invited 3 friends to have. High Tea and it was beyond my expectations. The food and service were excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
