The name of Maestro S.V.P reflects its blend of harmony and passion. Tradition and avant-garde are joined together to present our cuisine.
Great food, ambience and service. Will definitely be back!
We had a fabulous time. The food was outstanding. The oysters were so good, we had 2 dozen!. The owner treated us beautifully. Definitely recommend!
This is an excellent restaurant. Oysters are to die for.
Great Service! Enrique outdid himself! Oysters and Mussels were sublime!
Great night out! Yummy oysters and seafood dishes!
Excellent experience! Chose this restaurant out of so many in the area for our special dinner while traveling to Montreal and loved it. Cocktails were great, friendly and efficient service, best salmon I’ve ever had, etc. Highly recommend!!
Dining space was quite tight but the service was good which helped make the overall experience better. The seafood dishes were delicious and surprisingly even the bread! Waiters and hosts were extremely observant and professional as well. It was a lovely night out.
Everything from start to finish was amazing! The cocktails are addictive and the food is delicious!! Best fried calamari I have ever had with an incredible dipping sauce! The service was outstanding, was served by multiple people but Ilene is a true master of customer service, she’s warm hearted, friendly and funny! She regularly checked up and made sure we were enjoying our evening! Would definitely visit again!!
Great neighborhood gem in a fun location. My guest and I love seafood, and we were not disappointed! The oysters were oh, so fresh.... the mussels delicious, and the scallops quite tasty. Highly recommend if you love seafood.
Great ambiance, service and the food was amazing! Definitely returning.
Surprised and disappointed. Booked on Open Table indicating it was for a special occasion which was never mentioned or acknowledged by the staff. Restaurant was full but clearly not adequately staffed. Staff seemed stressed and unhappy. Unfortunately presentation, service and quality have gone down. Used to be much better.
Came by Maestro Svp for my husband’s birthday. It was our first time. Honestly, everything was delicious. A tad pricey but very good. The waiter was extremely kind and tentative. The food was delicious and extremely fresh. Although our reservations were at 7pm and we left at 10:30pm, we were never rushed out. And to top it all off, our waiter overheard us speaking about my husbands birthday at the very end of the evening and he surprised us all by coming out with a bowl of ice cream & some candles! (Hello brownie points). We will definitely be back.
I booked through open table, but when i got there, they said they are full!
They could not accommodate us , poor service, and careless attitude.
I was very pleased with our food and the service at this restaurant. I would happily go again and would love to try the oysters sometime.
Family dinner in Montreal - the restaurant had a very nice ambiance and the staff was friendly. Two teenagers, parents and grandparents on this excursion. Everyone had a great meal!
Service was very slow offset by very good food nice atmosphere. Pleasant waiter.
Atmosphere and service were great! Food was amazing! Drinks were great also! The raw oysters were delicious!
The staff was friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were excellent. We will be back!
Most of the food was not worth a repeat visit.
Wow. Tuna tartare and tuna with chipotle unbelievable Great neighborhood gem.
Visited during F1 weekend with son; excellent service, food very fresh; despite party atmosphere good time had by all!
As usual, it’s always great to eat at Maestro svp. The food is excellent, the service is always great!! I go often and will keep going.
Seafood is excellent
Repeat for sure
This well-established restaurant on Boulevard St-Laurent specializes in seafood and in particular, oysters (see picture: oyster menu on a blackboard) – freshly shucked oysters on the half shell. The “Happy Hour” Special (see another picture) -- $20 for a dozen of east coast Beausoleil is a great deal. The oysters’ mild, briny, pure and simple flavour is a great way to kick-start a beautiful seafood dinner.
The décor is intimate and simple.
Baked Crab Cakes with citrus sauce: delicious.
Louisiana mixed seafood, white wine & Cajun spice reduction: fresh, substantial and aromatic. The sauce / broth was super-satisfying.
Ilene, the owner, must have had a long night and was rather reticent. She was more engaging in previous visits.
A recommended restaurant for seafood lovers.
Best scallops I have ever eaten. Anywhere.
We took the seafood plate to share because we wanted crab. It was very good, Loved the tuna tartare and the scallops ceviche. Would definitely go back
Great location and experience. Staff was excellent.
First time at this restaurant. We were looking for a place for mussels and discovered Maestro SVP on OpenTable. Lovely restaurant - charming owner. The food was really good - from the tartar and Caesar salad to the mussels. Although the mussels were on the small side - they were tasty and the tomato sauce was delicious. So good we’re returning tomorrow friends!
C’était la première et dernière fois.
Wow - just the number of different oysters is staggering and delicious. IF you are a seafood lover - run there. We had oysters, the crab soup and the the sea bass. Everything was done to perfection - including the risotto. We will be back!
Eileen who served us knew exactly what we needed and brought everything with perfect timing. I especially appreciated how she accommodated our style; she modified the menu quantities etc, to allow us a platter experience without feeling overwhelmed. The music was too loud but not quite loud enough to warrant out intervention. A lovely time!! We'll return for sure. Excellent value for the expense - kiff-kiff.
Great food, nice ambiance but average service.
Service médiocre de style « waitress » et non une serveuse .
Went for my girlfriend’s birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was awesome. Unfortunately the food wasn’t anything special(was good but not amazing) and considering how expensive it was I won’t be going back.
Restaurant was cold- had to move tables as draft from door. Forgot about our wine. Food was good but not great.
Amazing food and service! The oyster were just awesome - the best I’ve ever had!!! Will certainly go back soon! Our waitress Julie was supper!
Nice dinner overall. Richard started with the Calamari, which was very nice. Only issue was the batter fell off at times, but the flavor was good. I had the Clam Chowder, which was just right. Really hate the chowders these days that are like porridge. This one was chock full of clams. For mains, Richard had the Louisiana seafood, which was like a bouillabaisse. Lots of flavor. Could have used a few more other items besides the mussels, of which there was a ton. I had the Lobster Thermidore, which was excellent. My only complaint was the fact it was "barely" a pound Lobster & it cost me $68!! True, it was "market" price, but being in the food industry I know the Lobster prices lately. Geesh! Talk about highway robbery! My fault for not asking the price, but though the food was very good, it wasn't worth that price! Staff, however were a total delight & they run a tight ship there.
Incredible food...perfectly prepared and presented and flavorful. Need more staff ...there was one waiter, and a bartender managing the crowd
Fabulous seafood restaurant. We loved the ambience and fit out. Service lacked personality but was efficient and attentive. Oysters were amazing!
