    Lovely prompt and polite service. Food was incredible as always. A little disappointed I wrote it was my anniversary with my partner of 8 years and nothing special was done. I don’t know why the reservation asks if there’s no acknowledgement of the occasion.

    Everything, from the cream of broccoli soup, to the 30oz Kansas cut steak, was delicious. Incredible service, and a slick, elegant ambience for date night. Great experience.

    Great location for a business dinner with out-of-towners. They could enjoy the ambiance of Old Montreal at Place Jacques Cartier and then have an excellent meal that catered to both the steak lover and the vegetarian!

    absolutely loved it!! the food was great and the service was nothing short of impeccable!! 10000% recommend to anyone wanting to have quality food without excessively spending (that being said you are paying for quality so it isn’t necessarily cheap) :))

    The cheapest steaks are the best here. Two visits prove it. Amazing service and really nice food. Expensive but the service is fantastic and makes it worth it as a special treat.

    I went for a birthday and the service was amazing! The waiters were very polite and didn’t hesitate when asked questions about the menu. Would recommend for anyone in Montreal.

    Early dinner with the kids (18 month and 9 yo) Quiet surrounding but nice atmosphere , attentive staff , we needed to eat fast and it was the case , the food was great both for the kids and for us. Great attention to detail , kind staff . Thumbs up !

    Je n’aime pas être négative sachant que le milieu de la restauration est en difficulté. Par contre, pour le client qui paye, notre expérience au Maggie Oak a été plus que décevant. Nous avions réserver une place sur le site et nous ne l’avons pas eu, la réceptionniste a été très désagréable avec nous. La qualité de la nourriture pour le prix etait vraiment décevante. Mon entrée de poireaux étaient presque immangeable. La joue de bœuf était sans goût assis sur une galette frite qui goûtait le poisson, je m’arrête là ! Nous sommes quand même sortie avec une facture de 260$… Bonne chance

    Fabulous vibe. Sabrina was an amazing server with a wonderful personality. Efficient, friendly and knew when to step in. Hy was a hoot. What a sense of dry humour. Definitely knew his wine as he is also the sommelier besides being the manager. The remaining wait staff were on point and very professional. We will definitely be back!!

    Repas très bon, belle carte de vins, service excellent. La musique ne correspond pas trop à l’ambiance et ne fait qu’ajouter au bruit ambiant. Décor fait penser à un St-Hubert relooké. Le menu MTL à Table était très bon. Chouette resto.

    Food was excellent and just enough of it. Wonderful fish soup. Steak was incredible as was dessert. Tables sufficiently spaced apart for privacy. Service was excellent. Provided great explanation of dishes and wine. Lighting aittle dark so couldn't see menu well. Did not like your choice of 70s music at all. Ambience requires a more refined Playlist. Perhaps some piano jazz or soft rock. But not Abba. Otherwise lovely. We were not rushed. Thank you.

    It took over 35 minutes for our brunch to be served and when it came to the table dishes weren’t that hot or fresh. The service was also very slow and it too multiple requests to get our bill. The restaurant wasn’t that busy so not sure what the issue was. Very disappointing experience.

    The good: the hotel manager (I believe) was a gracious host. Very nice and accommodating despite what was…I’m so sorry to say…one of the worst fine dining meals I’ve ever had. The bad: Wine - anything under $160 was just horrible. Could not find anything that did not taste like vinegar. First time I’ve ever had a bad Chateauneuf De Pape. The 16oz ribeye was flat - like what you’d have at your grandmother’s house eating a supermarket steak. Not a thick juicy cut like you’d have at any normal top tier steakhouse. The medium rare was cooked as medium, and the SALT. Oh my gosh. The chef must have emptied a salt bottle on the steak and the sides. I woke up this morning completely swollen from it. I’ve had better steaks at a Sizzler, really, I’m not kidding. They also ran out of lobster! What high end restaurant runs out of lobster?!! What made it all the worst was that I passed up on so many other restaurants for my birthday dinner and chose this one based on OpenTable reviews. I was just miserable and so disappointed as I wanted this to be a special dining night with my wife on my birthday as a visitor to Montréal. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
