This is a restaurant where steak is the star–where great steak is the rule, not the exception. Mahogany’s steaks are the finest custom-aged U.S. Prime Midwestern Beef, known for its excellence in marbling, texture and flavor. We broil it exactly the way you like it at 900 degrees to lock in the corn-fed flavor. We serve it sizzling on a heated plate so that it stays hot throughout your meal. Selections from the ocean include Australian Rock lobster and the freshest fish daily based on availability. Service will be outstanding, but provided in a casual, less intimidating fine-dining atmosphere.

    This was our first visit to their new location in the Boys Town area. The service was very efficient. There were 3 different team members (I believe) ensuring our water glasses were replenished, clearing plates when we were done, asking if we wanted to order more drinks, using a table crumbler to clean off our table, boxing up our leftovers for us, etc. The food was excellent and we will definitely return in the future.

    Mahogany has the best steaks and fish. We have never had a bad meal there. Will absolutely go there again!!

    I made the reservation for my parents 50th anniversary. Mahogany’s went over the top to make their night special. They had an amazing night. Thank you to all involved.

    Food is elite. Lobster cargot is a luscious splurge. You expect excellent at a prime steakhouse. But Mahogany takes it up a notch from their peers.

    Part of our anniversary tradition is eating dinner at Mahogany’s. This was our fourth year. We love Mahogany’s and look forward to it every year. However, with the new location, we had some light complaints. First of all, it’s not easy access or exit, a lot more difficult than the previous location. The building itself looks like a strip mall, so the charming feel is gone. Inside, the setup is interesting. The front half seemed like a sports bar while the back half was dining. The atmosphere is no longer intimate as I could hear other tables conversations, not so much that it was distracting, but enough for me to notice the subject matter. The service is always amazing though, you can count on that. The food was a little underwhelming this year too. The Ahi Tuna App was just okay, the new pork belly app was great, very sweet and the steak was exceptional. The au gratin potatoes were wonderful after we took the top layer of cheese off. The creamed spinach was amazing and the Seabass was very tasty, but we did not like how the Seabass was warm and everything else was cold, which was intentional. Overall our experience this year was average, but we still love Mahogany’s so much that we will continue to go for every anniversary moving forward unless something drastically changes.

    I will lead off with our two negatives: very salty and the overly loud environment. That said, we are older folk who have always used salt sparingly, and with onset of tinnitus, we are left with ringing ears. However, we recognize that both are current trends with which we endure nearly every place we visit. Now, we absolutely wish to commend both staff and management on the exquisite services provided at every stage of our experience. We never felt we were being "hovered" over, yet every need was resolved often before we realized said need! The only name we remember is that of Kaley (sp), our server. She and everyone else had friendly, approachable demeanor without feeling artificial. The food itself was amazing. I can't say much more than that without being repetitive, the salt being the only issue for us. And that probably won't stand in our way of returning to sample the rest of the menu! The "people" aspect of our experience was truly exceptional in the best way possible!
