   The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. Our courses came all out all at once and the table was so small we didn’t have room for everything. The prime rib was delicious but room temperature. We really enjoyed the crab dip, green beans, red fish, oysters and mashed potatoes.

   The appetizers & dessert were very good. The sides were solid. The problem is that *none* if the 70$ steaks were correctly cooked. All were ordered medium rare, and they came out as a combination of very rare or medium. Also, the outside was over cooked (the brown "rind" on the interior); that means the steaks weren't reverse seared, or any of the other "I'm paying for quality cooking" techniques a $100/person restaurant should employ. Frankly, you should skip the entree and just hit up the appetizers and desserts!

   We had a large group ages 4 to 74 for Mother's Day Brunch. Everyone had something different with the exception of the children. They all enjoyed the single waffle with syrup. Everyone enjoyed his/her meal and the service was very good.

   OH, MY, GOD. The food was wonderful. Like, top tier. We had a little bit of everything, and not one thing could have been better. Our server, Olivia, was absolutely perfect, as well. She was kind, timely, and informative! 10/10 would recommend!

    Excellent Sunday brunch with friends. Vegan quinoa bowl was SO good, very original. Crumbly biscuits as an appetizer, delicious bloody mary’s, and everything fresh. Great fast service and lively atmosphere!

    I chose Maie Day to celebrate my 40th birthday and it did not disappoint! Our server Angelo was fantastic and the food was amazing. The crab claw app was a standout and the prime rib literally illictied squeals of delight from people at my table as they tried it. Don’t sleep on the dinner rolls either. Or the chicken. Or the pork chop. It was all delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

    Cm here for brunch. Extremely overpriced, like WTF this is Austin not New York or LA and even there it would be considered expensive for what it is. Food was only average, to be honest the waffle thing was slapped together like trash. I would not recommend to come here at all. You can do son much better literally next door left and right.

    The food is stellar. I've been twice now and it's consistent as well. Pork and Mac and cheese are must haves, along with the Crab Claws. Don't miss the blooming onion. Great for large and small groups, just know it's super loud inside.

    The food and drinks were great but the food is very overpriced. At $70 for a steak you’d want a white tablecloth and a fine dining experience… or at least for sides to come with it. To be fair, we were sat outside- but to sit at a patio table with average service, it didn’t justify the price. Value was the only thing I’d be critical of. Other than that, it was good… cool location.

    I had dinner with my two young adult daughters there, we all agreed that the restaurant was too noisy, the strip that we ordered, although quite pricy, was almost tasteless. The menu is very limited and not very creative. Service is also lacking. There is that tad of “I’m doing you a favor by waiting on you”. Considering that Vespaio is just across the street, I wouldn’t waste my time or money.

    Good food & cool vibe but $70 for a 16oz steak was ridiculous. Chicken fried steak was good too, but again the price at $45 was crazy. Grilled green beans recommended as a side were plentiful but weird tasting. Side of mashed potatoes was very small. Crab claw appetizer for $30 was rather sparse in quantity. It was suggested to share the mains which we did but still spent a fortune for the 4 of us.

    We had an early dinner before a Broadway show so it wasn’t busy. Everything was delicious. It’s also a beautiful restaurant. It is a little loud because they turn the music up pretty loud & the ceilings are high.

    I booked this reservation in advance and when we got seated we were told the kitchen was closing in 7 minutes and we needed to order. I don't think you should be accepting r4eservations at 2:30 if the kitchen closes. I brought my parents here to be a nice thing to see the space we are getting married in three weeks and sort of derailed it a bit. The food was delicious though. I will say the music was really loud for not alot of people in there so just didn't really feel like it made sense to be so loud at a place like that.

    The brunch menu is VERY limited with very few gluten free options. Our server knew little to nothing regarding what options were gluten free or whether something could even be removed. The server made it clear they were not interested in being helpful or asking the kitchen any questions about dishes to accommodate a fairly standard food allergy. We were told that there would be no accommodations apart from potentially removing items (no substitutions nor could we pay to add things to the plate). We were left with meals that felt very incomplete and just didn’t work well with the item containing gluten removed.

    We asked for chicken in our Caesar salad and they said they couldn’t do that. Who can’t add chicken to a salad! Also my son asked for a well done tenderloin and it came rare. We asked if she could cook it more and she said they couldn’t do that either! I have never heard of that! We had friends from out of town visiting. It was so embarrassing. Won’t be back

    Maie Day was the perfect choice for my partner's 30th birthday dinner. He is a huge steak fan - and I needed to make sure his birthday steak lived up to his high expectations, and it did! He got the ribeye and I got the chicken fried steak and both were just amazing. I loved the high end feel to the place - even though it had a more casual, comfortable feel to it. We were dressed up but felt comfortable as it was a mix of dressy casual to more formal attire overall in the restaurant. Our service was great - our server had recommendations for everything we asked for. Overall we decided we will be coming back to Maie Day for a date night - it's on the pricer side but well worth it. The portions are huge and for any steak lover you won't be disappointed. Thank you for having us!

    There were three in our party and the other two diners were happy with their tenderloin and strip steaks. I, on the other hand, had the rib-eye and it was really tough and gristly. Very disappointing for a very expensive steak. Also, the pineapple cornbread sounds delicious, but is far from. Crumbles beyond belief, making it next to impossible to eat. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but based on my experience I would never return. Vegetable sides are ordinary.

    The restaurant is very beautiful and the food was good. The prices are a bit steep (not surprising because of location). Definitely recommend the crab dip appetizer and the bloomin onion side! Cocktails were okay, but the wine list was quite interesting!

    Fluke appetizer and beet salad were delicious! My husband enjoyed his filet, but the crab claws were way too salty (and I love salt!) and the vegetable sides (green beans and mushrooms) were disappointing in both texture and flavor. Decent old-fashioned, very small but serviceable offering of wines by the glass. We were surprised they only had 2 desserts on the menu. Nice outdoor seating area and friendly service, that was sometimes a bit slow/MIA. Not sure I'll be back at that price point though.

    I came here with extremely high expectations, all of my friends had raved about this place however to my surprise it didn't quite meet the mark, my bacon was really tough as an example and the other Foods I ordered were just okay, I will say however the cheesecake creme brulee Fusion concoction was to die for. in fact I brought one home separately for my sitter to partake. Overall I think it was okay, but in Austin, there are a lot better places that you could be eating for the same price.

    We arrived at 8pm on a Sunday night for dinner to celebrate a work milestone with some close family. We were seated outside. Only one other outside table was occupied. Our table was not set when we arrived. Someone was chaining up furniture for the first 15 minutes we were there and the noise was like nails on a chalkboard. Fortunately the weather was pretty pleasant but the heaters were not on like we were told they would be when we checked in. We were a tad cold. We ordered: - crab claws - plain salad - Caesar salad - big pork chop - cold shaved prime rib - blooming onion - chocolate cake - glass of dough Pinot noir Crab claws: very good. Salty and garlicky and buttery. Would order again. Plain salad: very plain. Super lemony dressing. Incomplete tasting. Would not order again. Cesar salad: under salted. No black pepper. Had to ask for both as they were not on the table. Definitely not a Caesar salad. Would not order again. Big pork chop: very good. Would order again. Cold shaved prime rib: under salted. Served at room temp. Blooming onion: would order again. Chocolate cake: grainy icing. Too sweet. Disjointed. Lemonade stuff and sesame stuff - doesn’t work. Needed something (not super sweet lemon) to cut through the sweetness of the cake. Cream? Salted caramel? Berries? Idk. Wine: expensive - wouldn’t order again considering it was $16 and the whole bottle was only $22 retail lol Waitress didn’t offer us a dessert menu and when we asked she said the kitchen was closed. We displayed surprise and she did manage to get us in at the last minute thankfully.

    A friend and I had Sunday brunch here and this will more than likely be the last time I dine here. I may try dinner at some point, but we’ll see; I’m not in any rush. I find this place to be nothing but a tourist trap; that has got to be the only reason it was busy since the food was nothing more than acceptable.
