Legendary chef Daniel Boulud created his namesake Maison Boulud to reinterpret French classics. At his downtown Montreal restaurant, artisanal Quebecois products and local ingredients are used to craft modern dishes.     The waiter did not explain to us that customizing an old fashion would result in the drink being 150 dollars plus taxes and tips. It was the last day of my trip and I was too tired to speak with management about this. I also wrote I had a shellfish allergy and the waiter was not familiar if the sauce contains shellfish or not.
