Daniel Boulud menu is driven by the seasons and bounty of Québec local purveyors. The result: refined yet soulful contemporary French food, prepared here by Executive Chef Riccardo Bertolino.
Maison Boulud enjoys a view over the historic hotel garden and year round glass enclosed winter garden. Daniel Boulud welcoming spirit, the casually elegant tone and glimpses of a partly open kitchen keep the focus on the cuisine, making this a daily gathering place for wonderful food.

We had the 8 course chef's tasting menu. The food and the service was excellent. Everything was expertly prepared amd delicious.
Amazing food, service, and ambience.
As close to a perfect experience as I’ve ever had.
Food and Service were excellent. Atmosphere felt very “corporate” and not at all intimate.
Not my first visit, nor my first review. Will definitely recommend and come back time and time again.
Outstanding service and food
Anniversaire de mariage
Merci à toute l’équipe pour l’excellente expérience et service.. un petit merci particulier à Mario, une legendre de l’établissement..
Au plaisir d’y retourner,
Excellent service, excellent food, beautiful dining room, very romantic atmosphere!
There was a problem in the kitchen when we were there. We had to wait an hour between our first and second course (brunch). There were no explanations (except that there was a problem in the kitchen, and that lots of guests arrived late (we did not) ) nor apologies until after I expressed my concern over how long it was taking. When our meal finally did come (we were 7) three ravioli servings were lukewarm This was not up to the standard I know of this restaurant. And there were no real attempts to make things right after the long wait.

We went for breakfast and the food and service were excellent and the garden was beautiful!
Normally an excellent place to dine for brunch. Service has gone down a bit recently. Delays in providing menus, forgetting items on orders. Still overall one of the better places to dine in Montreal.
Perhaps it was my expectation visiting a Daniel Boulud restaurant, but the food was fair at best and the service was flat. We left very disappointed with the experience. When great chefs spread themselves very thinly with establishments all over the world then product quality and guest experience fall by the wayside.
We had a great dinner, drinks, desserts. Portions were good, tasty snd very well presented. the service was outstanding.
Amazing service and recommendation by sommelier which made our overall experience outstanding
On a adoré! Quel lieu fantastique, on se croirait en voyage.
Perfect for a birthday breakfast, beautiful in summer with the garden. A must to try it! Just perfect!
We have been to a number of Boulud restaurants all over the world and this was one of the best, we would both highly recommend.
great place , food was good , the waiters were amazing
I came to town for a conference and my husband wanted to treat me to dinner since he couldn’t come- of course I chose Maison Boulud, because, why not? Service from Julien and team was impeccable. The decor and outdoor garden with glass roofing were breath-taking and magical. The food was mind-blowing-excellent as all of Chef Boulud’s fine restaurants... was truly an experience! Thank you chefs and servers and hostess for an amazing evening!!! I almost didn’t miss my husband!!
Our experience was nothing short of spectacular from the moment we walked in, to the moment we drove away. Service, service, service- there is a world of difference when fine dining, meets excellent service, beautiful ambiance, and such warm hospitality. Thank you so much for making our special night even more beautiful with the extra personal touch to our dessert tray!
We attended Italian menu and it was fabulous. Even coming from an Italian home, I must say the food was excellent, as was the service and of course the setting (we sat in the garden). The focaccia, octopus and zucchini flower risotto were our absolute favourite. Bon appétit!
The manchego desert and the veal loin were horrible. The appetizers were delicious especially the cucumber with caviar on top. The apple desert was delicious too. Baguette bread wasn’t fresh from the day.
The food is absolutely delicious. The service was beyond excellent. The attention to detail is extraordinary. Definitely will not be the last time visiting Maison Boulud.
Beautiful setting, amazing and attentionate service.
A memorable wedding anniversary
An oasis despite the orange cones and blocked entrance this summer
The view of the garden and the pond and the quiet atmosphere right in the middle of the busy, noisy downtown location is like a miraculous salvation for a couple of hours. Quite dignified.
The food is always very interesting - although the pasta option was too small - served in a huge dish. The duck option was just right - recommend it.
The two choices of desert were delicious.
And I always take home for myself and offer to my guest the small boxes of madelaine.
The food was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. Impeccable service. The entire experience was very special. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
THE FOOD WAS VERY NICE, AND THE SUGGEST WINE WAS FABULOUS, JUST A LITTLE OVERRATED
THE SINGAPORE MENU WAS VERY INTERESTING, PORK SHOULD BE MORE TASTY AND CHICKEN ALSO, BUT ALL THE REST WAS WONDERFUL.
IT WAS A VERY NICE EVENING ON THE BEAUTIFUL GARDEN
VERY NICE EVENING WITH MY SON, FOR HIS BIRTHDAY.
My main, rib steak medium rare, was overcooked (seasoning and sides were good). Besides that the food, service, and ambiance were great.
waiter brought the check without us asking it felt like they were kicking us out.
Service was bad. Started with the greeter. Totally disinterested. Table service was grudging, inattentive and slow. Food was just ok. I would never go back.
Excellent. Every bite appreciated.
Terrific! Service was outstanding and food was delicious!
After being to Daniel Boulud's restaurant in Miami I was very excited to try this one in Montreal. Overall we had a 4 star experience and would definitely return.
To start we ordered two appetizers; Iberico ham and Summer beets. We really enjoyed the Iberico ham and the summer beets were just okay. It was served with tomatoes, cheese, and pistachio but we felt there wasn't enough cheese and because the pistachio was shaved it didn't add any texture.
We ordered two entrees as well; Scallops with spicy ragout and lamb chops. My scallops were cooked perfectly and with the ragout it tasted delicious although I didn't find that the ragout was spicy. I felt heat in the back of my throat on the first bite and after that I didn't taste heat.
My husband ordered lamb chops and they were seasoned well, but only one of them was cooked perfectly and the other was a little under. done unfortunately.
The sommelier Parhan was excellent. We were having trouble deciding on a wine and he let us taste one to see what we liked. He was able to pick out a dry Riesling for us and because of his help we are more knowledgeable about what kinds of wines we like and what to ask for when we go out.
Our server Aimeleine was friendly. She did give us the wrong change back though as we asked for the equivalent of $40 American and she gave us $40 Canadian.
It was fun to walk around the garden after dinner which is part of the restaurant. Overall we had a four star experience and would go back.
This was a very memorable occasion, especially for the Birthday Girl - my 95-year-old Mother-in-Law!! Thank you also for the tiny birthday cakes you made for her to have during coffee - we really appreciated them!
Service was great! Staff members were gracious and friendly. We had the four course meal, which i would recommend. Dessert was phenomenal! Valet at the Ritz is included as part of the reservation, which was a huge help.
Wow! Everything was great
