   My food was excellent however they decided to clean the restaurant while we were eating, with sprays and mops and it was distracting and smelly.

   I was first to arrive (fortunately) before my guests. There was clearly a dead fly on the bench of the table where I was seated. I'm not sure how the hostess didn't see it? It was definitely not the best first impression of the restaurant; I almost left. However, the other restaurant I was interested in would require an extra half an hour wait, so I decided to still give Maison Cheryl a try, since it did have good reviews. I simply moved myself to the next table which was clean. I noted to the bartender why I switched over, and he made sure to clean the other area well. My guests and I all enjoyed our entrees! My $30 salad was delicious ($13 for grilled chicken add-on), but still kind of #craycray to spend so much. If it were not so expensive, I more likely would have suggested us getting dessert too, but that would have been way over the top, since the dessert I was eyeing was itself another whopping $14. Willing to give it another try, but there are a plethora of good restaurants in the area that won't cost so much!

   We came to Maison Cheryl for our anniversary dinner, but with three kids. We had a great time - the kids and adults found good they liked, the wine was wonderful, and we will definitely be back.

   My wife and I celebrated our 26th anniversary dinner and it was wonderful. I was a little worried about the ambiance inside from some of the other reviews, so I made our reservations for outside. A thunderstorm came up and they moved our reservation back indoors with no problem, and it was great. Duck and ratatouille were terrific and the creme de pot was out of this world. Service was just the right balance of attentiveness, friendliness, conversation, and letting us enjoy our meal. We'll be back.

   Very nice spot for dinner for two. Food and service was wonderful. Drink choices and quality very good. A little loud but not overwhelming. We will definitely go back again . Got a little lost finding the place as it is not on Wilson and the sign cannot be seen from the corner of Wilson and Fillmore. It is a couple of doors down on Fillmore

   Great location with fantastic food! Went with my family to celebrate my son’s college graduation and everyone loved it! Folks enjoyed the steak frites, cajun chicken and the pork chop. Triple chocolate tarte dessert is to die for!

   Excellent experience on a Friday supper with an old friend. Service was attentive but let us linger over drinks, apps and dinner. Drinks were well made and priced as expected for Arlington. Menu was well varied and interestingly prepared. Portions were generous, delicious and well prepared. All in all a lovely time and a remarkable place!

    We went to Madison Cheryl for Mother’s Day lunch and loved it. The ambiance was great, our server Shawn was phenomenal with our requests for our 2 young children (6 and 3), and most of the food was amazing! We particularly enjoyed the Truffle Wagyu Burger, Avocado Toast, and French Toast. The steak was good, but not as good as the other items we ordered. Would definitely go back again.

    We enjoyed the food and ambiance. Only issue was we felt the staff were rushing us a bit to leave. The commentary did not reflect but trying to pick up plates when people were not finished eating and Delivering the bill a bit early. We did like everything else !!

    We don't normally go inside the Beltway for dinner, but this was worth it. The service was attentive and friendly. My wife had the salmon and my daughter the duck, but both were envious of my ratatouille.

    Our first time at Maison Cheryl. It won't be our last. Food - excellent. Service - excellent. Just one item to note. The front door is not on the Wilson Boulevard as the address might suggest. Just a quick walk around the corner, but if it was raining, this might have been not so pleasant.

    Attentive service, warm yet elegant atmosphere. Some of the dishes were fresh, different, and delicious (like the beet terrine) that make you want it again, others were fine but not remarkable. This was our first visit and we will definitely return and explore more of the menu. One big negative, the dominance of the televisions hulking over the room; they are completely incongruent with the otherwise lovely and simple elegance of the dining room and menu.

    My dining companions and I could actually carry on a conversation! The service was excellent and very friendly. Only two negatives to note: the restaurant is hard to find if you’re walking at street level and there’s an ugly wash up station by the bar next to an open kitchen door that bring down the sophistication of the restaurant. I will definitely be back though, as will my dining companions.

    The service wasn’t great. It took 20 minutes to take our drink order, and the food arrived an hour after being seated. Restaurants can have bad days, so we’ll give it a second chance.

    Ambience, service, and drink were great. Food was okay, is definitely not inexpensive so we have higher expectations for the food quality. Both fishes were overcooked but the appetizers were good.

    There are too many good restaurants to choose from in the area to come here. It resembles a cafe with a bar, too close to the tables for comfort. The ratatouille main course amounts to unattractive, over-salted, chopped eggplant atop a bed of polenta. Our group enjoyed the small plates and sides, but service was slow.

    Food was outstanding. Chilean sea bass with just the right amount of char in a delicious curry, and my date had scallops that were perfectly cooked. Attentive, pleasant service. Warm atmosphere though our table was a bit small. Would recommend

    Food was fine, a little underwhelming. My husband’s burger was tasty, the same as any local pub or burger joint, but for $25 you expect it be a bit special. I got the pasta with fried bureaus. The burrata was a little cool and the pasta piping hot, so timing seemed a bit off. Burrata surprisingly flavorless. Ordered the $5 upcharge for bacon to be added to the pasta, but portion of bacon a bit meager. Dish probably would have been better without the burrata, which seemed to detract. Dessert was super disappointing. Was supposed to be like a cronut, and I had high hopes, but it mainly tasted like a fried donut with strawberry sauce on top. The cronut I had from the original place in New York was infused with filling and flavor, so this was a let down; should have gotten ice cream around the corner instead.
