   Food was outstanding. Chilean sea bass with just the right amount of char in a delicious curry, and my date had scallops that were perfectly cooked. Attentive, pleasant service. Warm atmosphere though our table was a bit small. Would recommend

   Food was fine, a little underwhelming. My husband’s burger was tasty, the same as any local pub or burger joint, but for $25 you expect it be a bit special. I got the pasta with fried bureaus. The burrata was a little cool and the pasta piping hot, so timing seemed a bit off. Burrata surprisingly flavorless. Ordered the $5 upcharge for bacon to be added to the pasta, but portion of bacon a bit meager. Dish probably would have been better without the burrata, which seemed to detract. Dessert was super disappointing. Was supposed to be like a cronut, and I had high hopes, but it mainly tasted like a fried donut with strawberry sauce on top. The cronut I had from the original place in New York was infused with filling and flavor, so this was a let down; should have gotten ice cream around the corner instead.

   Excellent food. The beet and goat cheese salad was perhaps the best I've ever had. The duck and sea bass were also excellent. Nice, bistro-like cafe.

    The food was delicious and the service excellent. Our server was over the top patiently waiting for us to finish chatting and order, making great suggestions, and smiling the whole time. We'll be back!

    Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and my server was so delightful… loved the positive energy. This is probably the cutest, most chic little spot I’ve ever been to in Arlington. I appreciated the attention to detail and the cute little note I got on my bill. :)

    The service was excellent. The woman who assisted us was personable and anticipated our needs and followed though. The vegetarian polenta entree was one of the best veg meals I have had . So often, the vegetarian entree is an after thought. Not here. There were other choices and I will be anxious to try them all. Really a great restaurant. Glad it came to Arlington.

    Visiting our son in Arlington. Food and service ( shoutout to our server Britton who was lovely), were excellent. Only complaint is that they were out of several items that we would like to have ordered.

    Great food and cocktails. Good service. Good location. Just watch your check. We ordered 2 Scotches from the menu and they rang them up as doubles without asking us and added them to the check at double the price. I caught it and they corrected it and made it right. Otherwise, great experience.

    Our first meal (Sunday brunch) at Maison Cheryl, and we were most impressed! The food was perfectly prepared - The carbonara with a poached egg was absolutely delicious, and the scrambled eggs were prepared exactly like in France - moist and fluffy. Our server, Tatianna, was very pleasant and attentive to our every request. We’re delighted to add Maison Cheryl to our dining options in Clarendon; we’ll be back!

    Location was difficult to find as the entrance was not on the street with the actual address. Honey lemonade was super tart to the point of not enjoyable even after we added two packets of sugar. Waygu truffle burger I was excited to try was over cooked (I requested medium temp) and tasted store bought, not homemade. Their pasta carbonara was amazing and the spicy chicken sandwich was good.

    This is the second time I have eaten at Maison Cheryl. Both times the food was excellent. I highly recommend the restaurant. It seems to be a little noisy though, especially later in the evening.

    Good cocktails and nice server. Food isn’t very creative or tasty. Maison Cheryl’s menu needs to be more focused. Seems very confused. Toasted bread for cheese plate had a bitter taste—needs some olive oil and salt. Regardless, cheese plate isn’t worth it. Better off picking up some cheese from Trader Joe’s and making it at home.

    Service was friendly but very slow. I enjoyed having some space and not feeling rushed, but it took a while to place drink orders and once dessert menu was requested it was another 20 min before it was delivered. I ordered the steak frites which came out over cooked and was very overpriced. $52 was definitely not worth it and is quite expensive compared to other French restaurants in the area. I live in the neighborhood so was excited to see a more relaxed place for a slightly older crowd but can’t say I’m highly motivated to go back.

    We really wanted to like this neighborhood restaurant and were excited to get reservations on the weekend. From the start though, it was a bit disappointing. It was a cold evening and the cold air flowed through the front door to the tables. Other restaurants with this issue have a second set of doors or at least a velvet curtain to shield the cold air from the main part of the restaurant. Our waitress seemed a little new...she dropped a knife (not sharp) on my partner and did not seem surprised or sorry. The ambience was quite mixed. We envisioned a cozy, french-feeling but instead there were two or so large tv's with sports in front of a bar. It felt more like a busy bar, three pages of the menu were dedicated to drinks, vs. one page for food, rather than a restaurant. It wasn't cozy at all. Our dishes were mixed. My fish was flavorful but my partner's pasta fell flat. In the end, we just wanted to finish the meal and get back home to where it was warmer. Maybe just an off night as the chef seems to be well-regarded. Unsure if we would go back again though.

    A lovely dinner! Delicious food, friendly and attentive service, lively but not too loud. The tempura shrimp appetizer is excellent and it's 10 shrimp, so it's big enough to share. The Sauvignon Blanc was a good pairing with the shrimp. The ratatouille with parmesan polenta was really nice. I got it with bacon, which I would recommend for carnivores if you want a little more flavor. My husband has the Bay Scallop + Shrimp Orecchiette and that was really good, too. We were happy to see the restaurant full on a Friday night. I hope it stays around for a long time.

    Cozy restaurant, quiet enough to enjoy conversation over drinks and dinner. Nice selection of appetizers and entrees, which we enjoyed sharing. Parking garage directly across the street is also a plus.

    The service was excellent, and so was the interior design. The food we got, duck + the maison burger, was forgettable, to be frank. The madeleine dessert was delicious, however. The music choice, top 100 hits, didn't fit the decor. Lots of room to improve but if they get better in specific spots this could become a courthouse staple!

    The service was average but ultimately very underwhelming. It seemed liked our server just forgot about us during service, which was fine because we weren’t in a rush but overall not great. When we walked in to check in for our reservation, the entire team (including the manager) was just chit chatting behind the bar. We waited by the hostess stand for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. The food was good, but overall I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

    Our waitress was awesome and made the evening very fun. The food was very good in particular the appetizers we ordered. We probably over did it there, but the main courses were good - but we were stuffed. Good drinks and beautiful ambience.

    Overall, our experience was average. Nothing great and nothing really bad. I did think the meal was expensive given the average nature of the food. We ordered 2 appetizer/small plates, 2 meals + 2 cocktails and the bill was just over $200.

    I ordered soup. My partner and I each ordered a main dish. When I was half through the soup the waiter brought the hot main dishes. He should have waited until I had finished the soup. My partner ordered Muscadet wine. We were told they were out. I had bought the same week a bottle of Muscadet at Trader Joe's, 400 yards away. We drank Sancerre and were not disappointed.

    Attractive interior although there's definitely no need for even one TV over the bar, let alone the two so close to each other. They don't fit with the vibe of the restaurant which was active with couples and groups enjoying long conversations. The food was tasty, especially the salads and truffle fries we had. The salmon itself was delicious but did not need the sauce it came with--too heavy and non-distinct. Our old-fashioneds were perfect.
