Maison de Lu was started in Ocean Springs in 2008. A small sandwich shop evolved into a town staple! Offering different menus for lunch and dinner allows appeal to anyone! We offer a beautiful courtyard dining experience (with heaters), a full service bar, and an intimate indoor dining. Whether it's date night with that special someone or girl's night, we've got you covered!

Our menu is inspired from a passion for French cuisine and simple fresh ingredients. Our lunch menu features unique salads, creative sandwiches, and fresh local seafood. Our dinner menu opens up to anything from steak to seafood! We are known for fresh fish, and specialty meats such as our New Zealand Lamb, veal chop, and brined pork chop! We encourage people to "get outside the box" when dining with us! We pride ourselves in housemade items ranging from salad dressings, soups, and desserts.

We have multiple award winning items: Bloody Mary "best in state" and our Goat Cheese Torte "best in state".

    New Year's Eve @ Maison de Lu is always one to remember! Our menu is complete but still subject to slight detail changes as we near the year's end. Pricing will be $90/person plus tax and gratuity for 4 courses. Seating will be very limited and booking outdoors is an "at your own risk" option. We will have heaters but only a portion is protected from rain. Course 1: Blue Crab Ceviche or Gorgonzola Crostini Course 2: Honey Goat Cheese Salad or Cream of Brie Soup Course 3: Chilean Seabass, Veal Osso Bucco, Hanger Steak, or Lobster Pasta Course 4: Creme Brulee or Chocolate Lava Cake

    We try to get into this restaurant every time we visit the Gulf Coast. Their food is simply amazing and I love the friendly atmosphere and great service! The pork chop and veal chop are fantastic, but everything else is, too! I could eat there 3 or 4 times in a row and eat something different every time! Highly recommend.

    We made reservations for my boyfriends 28th birthday. Reservation was super easy to make. This was our first time dining here. Our whole experience from start to finish was phenomenal. Our server was very informative (I’m so upset I don’t remember his name) and relaxed, each course we had was served at just the right time. I had the salmon and he had the lamb chops and each bite was just as tasty as the last. He was able to give his compliments directly to the chef. Loved it, we will be back and I’ll suggest you all to everyone looking for a similar experience.

    Great atmosphere and had several parties going on across the restaurant that I thought the kitchen staff and waiting staff handled extremely well! Our server, Ryan, was very attentive and our food came out perfectly timed! Steaks were a little overcooked but not enough to complain about. Do NOT recommend The Kentuckian cocktail unless you like drinking liquid cigar. Crab cakes were great, all sides were great, and again I felt this restaurant staff handled the busy night like pros! There are a lot of options in Ocean Springs but Maison De Lu is certainly one of the finer.

    My wife and I went here for a date night. We usually never leave a review; however, we were really not impressed. Our salads were brought out first and served in extremely warm plates. There were plates on the table, obviously for bread, but no bread was ever delivered to the table and from what we saw, no other tables had bread either. We hadn't even finished half of our salads and our dinner was brought out. I ordered the lamb chops which were ok, and my wife had the grilled shrimp. The presentation of our meals was really poor and my wife's green beans were not warm at all. The lamb came with a sauce that was not even close to being enough or even presented nicely. It was an ok meal, but for the price and the atmosphere, the kitchen needs to take more pride in their work. We would not go back. Really cool atmosphere, just a shame that the food doesn't match.Total for two people dinner and two drinks, $120.00 including tip. We could spend half that a chain place and have a better experience. We would not go back. We like supporting local and hope that the chef or owner sees this and makes some changes.

    Jason, very sorry for your experience. It isn't often we get reviews like this. I sent a text to you from your OpenTable contact. I have addressed all the situations you spoke of. We had a talk about timing and presentation. The salad bowl issue has definitely been addressed (trying to make cooler space so not only is it not warm, but a chilled plate *Big pet peeve of mine). Also bread is available upon request. Just know we aim to please and almost always do. When something is brought to our attention we correct it. Hope you give us another shot as we assure you won't be let down twice!

    This is my “go to” spot & one of the few places in Ocean Springs I recommend, weekly. They do a great job at always making whatever guests we bring feel welcome & the food & service are always just right. Had the best fish, so far, this visit. We always come back.

    A true hidden gem! Sautéed crab claws, lamb chops and twice baked cauliflower! All unique and delicious! Solo diner on the back patio. Quiet and relaxing. Tara was an excellent waitress, but the staff worked as a team and everyone was friendly and helpful. Will be back again for sure!

    The dinner and service were both superb at Madison De Lu. Highly recommend the escargot stuffed mushrooms. Will definitely look to come back anytime we are on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A truly fine dining experience!

    Arthur was amazing, taking great care to always be there just when needed but never intrusive. After dinner, we visited the bar to extend our girls night out. Our conversation was lively and entertaining, and we were included in chats with others out for an evening of good food and fun. Can’t wait to go back!

    Very noisy restaurant. Food was very delicious but portion sizes of side dishes and appetizers are very small given the pricey menu. Tables are too close together and noise level makes it very hard to hear your own conversation. Outside dining is a little better. end of the day this is a decent restaurant but except for the entrees you get little food for the money.

    From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed Bartender Jose was personable and professional. Everyone was having a good time. We moved from the bar to our table and were well taken care of by Arthur and staff. Excellent food and terrific service. The kitchen staff must be exceptional also. Everything was more than expected.     We eat at this restaurant quite a bit. But on Saturday our waitress was not the best l. However I believe her name is Tesla she was bar tending, bar backing and serving. If she hadn’t been paying attention we would not have had dinner. The food is always great and Tesla for the win. My apologies if I spelt her name incorrectly
